• The hotel was very clean. Great pool area. Great view of the Capital!
• Would have liked a basic continental breakfast.

“The hotel was easy to find. The entryway is beautiful! For being right by the freeway, the noise level was unnoticed. Very satisfied.”

• Attractive room, nice view of Cathedral of Saint Paul right across the street.
• Very noisy as it is adjacent to busy freeway. Bathroom was too small and showerhead too low.

“Quick and easy check in. Room was far away from elevator and ice machine which is a plus for us. Room was clean and attractive. I used the exercise room which was also clean. King size bed was slightly uncomfortable. Although the bathroom was adequate, it was very small and in the shower you had to bend over to get your head under the showerhead. One real annoyance was that we got a wake-up call at 6:30 am which we didn't request. Then the next day we called the desk to make sure there wasn't another one placed. They said there wasn't, but sure enough the next morning, we got another wake-up call. This was not a business trip so we were not happy about being woken up that early both days of our stay. Otherwise it was a great value for the money.”

• Perfect local east to find and access.
• The pool need upkeep.

“Perfect local for downtown St. Paul. Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Needs to update look. Pool, Jacuzzi need repair. Restaurant is fine, but not fine dining!”

• Woman working at desk was very nice and helpful when we checked in.
• Was approached by a drunk beggar outside as soon as we arrived.

• Walking distance to all of downtown St Paul - Science museum, History museum, Capitol, Mississippi.
• Pool area needs updating, maintenance.

“The Kelly Inn Best Western is in a great location, servicing downtown St Paul. In walking distance of downtown attractions and University Avenue restaurant, shops. Near bus lines as well.”

• Appeared to be recently remodeled. Up-to-date linens and decor. Very comfortable.

“We had a very pleasant stay at the Kelly Inn. The room appeared to be recently updated, the bed was quite comfortable, and it was quiet. We really have no complaints about the hotel and would definitely stay there again.”

• The location is great for getting to down town St. Paul.
• I feel the hotel needs to be renovated.

“This Best Western is located very close to downtown St. Paul and has easy access to the freeways. The convenience was most important this trip, but my feeling is the place needs to be renovated if it is to be rated a 2+.”

• Convenient location to our meeting site.
• Our room was not cleaned after the first night, we requested it be cleaned after the second. There were no staff apologies.

“The location is good, there is ample parking. The rooms are comfortable but cleaning is poor. Customer service is not a forte here.”

• Price of room and proximity to excel energy center.
• No control of heat, bathroom ceiling dripped into tub, poorly stocked vending machines.

“Good for price, needs better cleaning under beds-saw old fingernail clippings, got only one bed and I intended to get two and hotel was full so could not change. Restaurant is very average. Vending machines vended a different product than was displayed and never had the water stocked in 10 days. liked the ability to walk downtown and to our events at Excel center, felt very safe.”

• They had a shuttle to the Rivercenter the day we were there for the Pheasant Fest.
• The pool was closed due to construction.

“This is a very nice hotel. The shuttle to the Rivercenter Downtown was a nice touch! Overall a great stay, would definitely stay there again.”

• We waited at the front desk to check-in for almost ten minutes before someone appeared.

• Restaurant was nice and nice bar. Rooms were very clean. Nice wading pool for children.
• Hotel pool including the childrens wading pool was colder than I would have liked.

“Hotel overall was aging and upgrades could be done, but otherwise was clean and enjoyable. Staff was super friendly and maid service did what they could to clean the room during my multi-day stay without moving or disrupting personal affects.”

• The hotel had easy access to the interstate.
• The pool was freezing, and the sauna wouldn't heat up.

“The Kelly Inn is convenient to most locations in St. Paul, has great access to I-94 and 35E, the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area left a great deal to be desired. The restaurant was comfortable and the food was tasty, but nothing special. I will definitely stay there again when traveling to St. Paul on business.”

• The staff was very friendly and was able to give us directions and recommend places to go.
• They did not have a continental breakfast.

“The rooms were clean and comfortable, the lounge offered lots of space to wait for fellow travelers with places to sit. The staff was awesome, never had any problems with them.”

• Very comfortable rooms. Restaurant staff was very friendly and service in the evening was very efficient.
• The low ceiling in the bathrooms. Obviously rooms have been remodeled.

“The hotel was close to the excel center where we were for an event. It was easy to find and the hotel staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. I would recommend this to a friend.”

• Great party hotel!
• Too much noise!

“Don¿t stay if you need to sleep! I stayed on a wed. Because my son had surgery in st.paul on Thursday morning. They did little to reduce the noise from the party next door. Needless to say no sleep, until 4:30am when the group finally passed out!”
