• I would have preferred queen size beds instead of doubles.

• The free continental breakfast and the workout room was great.
• Some of the exercise equipment in the workout room was out of order.

• Friendly staff, very clean and well appointed room, nice lounge, excellent brunch.
• Sunday brunch ended at 10 am would have liked it to 11am.

“Great location close to restaurants and shopping. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Exceptionally clean room. Nice extras such as fresh fruit and hot coffee and tea or cocoa available in lounge area. A much better hotel than most three or three and 1 by 2 star hotels I've stayed at! Excellent value.”

• The staff was helpful when we asked for directions. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean and convenient.
• We found some garbage in the coffee basket and a hair tie on the bed spread that wasn't ours. It makes us wonder if the bedding was changed.

“It was a very nice location for us. It was fairly close to our relative that we were visiting. We had everything that we needed in the room. It was also very nice that there was a refrigerator already in the room. My husband is on daily medication that needs to be refrigerated, so it was nice that we didn't need to request one.”

• Nice, very comfortable king sized bed. Nice shower, clean bathroom.
• The TV didn't have many channels. Nothing much to watch while relaxing. Also, they should have better breakfast.

“I would say this was a very nice hotel. The lobby was nice, clean and inviting. The room was very nice. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was nice. Excellent shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The bed was wonderful. I usually have trouble sleeping at hotels but this bed was very comfortable! :)”

• Very clean and beautiful facility convenient to 35E. Not too far from downtown St. Paul, but a bit of a drive to Minneapolis. Free breakfast.
• It's sort of out in the middle of nowhere.

• The hotel was clean and I liked the free continental breakfast.
• The heat was not adjustable and the beds were a little hard.

“Overall this hotel is excellent. I like the fact that it is within a 5-10 min drive of everything we did. We also loved the breakfast and being able to use the microwave anytime. I would give this hotel 31/2 stars.”

• For our need, close to the airport with shuttle service it was perfect.
• I would have to search an unrelated item to do so.

• The location doesn't thrill me.

• The service was great. Breakfast wonderful, kept our car while we were on vacation.
• Elevator at one end of the building, long walk.

• The breakfast was nice.
• Some of my personal items were moved by the cleaning staff.

“All and All this is a pretty decent hotel. Everything was very clean, the only complaint I have was related to housekeeping. My girlfriends underwear was gone through by the housekeeper. Also no ice container was left after cleaning.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The housekeeping staff knocked too early and on at least two occasions well before I was ready to check out. I felt harassed. Checkout was at noon.

“The housekeeping staff kept knocking (at least two occasions) and checkout was at noon. I felt like they wanted to kick me out. I wanted to take advantage of my alone time. That bugged me. Otherwise, everything was great!.”

“Great place to stay. Very economical. My family enjoyed the pool and the not breakfasts that were included. The housekeeping staff was very accommodating throughout our 3 night stay. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• I loved how clean and fresh all of the decor was.
• I did not like that there were kids in the whirlpool without adults. They were jumping in and blocking the stairs.

“This hotel is in a nice location that it is away from heavy traffic areas, but still minutes away from the Mall and Airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and I loved how hip it was.”

“Easy on/off interstate. Room very quiet, no noise from room above either night. Warm items on breakfast bar: eggs and sausage for making biscuit sandwiches. Very large hot tub in pool area with later hours for adults only.”

• Nicely decorated and clean lobby, excellent breakfast

“There was a warm, "homey" feeling when we walked in. The lobby was clean, decorated nicely, and there was a fire place lit. When we arrived there were cookies waiting for the kids by the breakfast area. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and our whole family got to enjoy playing in the water.”

• It was very clean, the room was nice, and the clerk was extremely nice.
• Most hotels are putting a microwave and small refrigerator in all rooms now, this one did not have that amenity.

“The hotel was easy to find, the grounds were well kept, the hotel lobby was clean, the clerk very friendly and nice, the room was very clean and well decorated. I felt very safe in the hotel. Breakfast was good, and check out went very smoothly. The hotel and staff get a thumbs up.”

• Perfect for what we needed.

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nothing fancy but the accommodations were kept very clean and the staff was very friendly. Very soon after our arrival the front desk phoned to be sure that we were pleased with our accommodations. We used the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed our continental breakfast in the morning.Great! “Hampton Inn is a busy place, with people checking in at all hours. The front desk clerk handled the business in an orderly fashion, but it was beyond what one person could do in a timely manner. We had to request a roll away three times. The roll away was not added to our bill, which was an amiable resolution. What a great looking facility.”
