• The design of the hotel room.
• Lobby breakfast was not included.

“Staff did not pay attention to small details. But the small things we found wrong were outweighed by the overall quality of the room and hotel stay. My husband and I both agreed we would stay there again if the opportunity arrived. We felt both comfortable and secure in our room.”

• It not only looked clean but smelt wonderful and the people were so nice.
• Did not have conditioner in bathroom.

• Everything was fresh and welcoming.
• Long way to downtown.

“This is a newly built property situated just off the interstate. It is an ideal stopping off point for travellers making the long drag along I40, but it is some distance from downtown Springfield. It is set well back from the road snd there is no noticeable traffic noise.Everything was clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful.Overall this hotel exceded my expectations for a property in this class band and I recommend it unreservedly.”

• clean, nice rooms everything seemed to work properly
• slid a note under my door to tell me I needed to come by and pay for room

“The rooms were nice and clean and everything worked as it should. The trip would have been very nice except for a oversized truck pulling the electric lines down and we were without power for several hours. This was not Courtyard's fault. And then there was the problem with the billing. But I really enjoy staying at Courtyard by Marriott and hope to stay there again next year. I believe this was the third year I had stayed there.”

• New, well mantained facility, spacious rooms, good service.
• Very busy wait staff during breakfast in hotel restaurant over weekend, could have used another employee in restaurant.

“This is a lovely hotel with spacious rooms, nice indoor pool and exercise room and helpful desk staff. Landscaping and decor are visually appealing and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The food is excellent at the restaurant within the hotel.”

• The friendliness and proffesionalism of the hotel staff was excellent. The room was very comfortable.
• The hallways were hot. The pool room was like a sauna with terrible chlorine fumes.

“The Courtyard Marriot is a very nice hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.”

• Good sized rooms, FREE INTERNET, good location.
• No free breakfast.

“This is a new facility with easy on-easy off access to the interstate. Very nice rooms with a nice sitting area and free internet access. Nice shower, but sink area is a little crowded. I had to take a smoking room which I do not like, but it was not that bad.”

• Convenient to airport
• Needs rennovation. Old carpeting, bed covers, etc. Not worth the price!

“I would recommend this hotel for convenience to airport. It is a Class C hotel. I don't believe it measured up to the standards of other Courtyard Marriotts in bigger cities. It's just OK”

• Pool and hot tub were excellent for my children and me.
• Elevator smelled like cigarette smoke.

• Dirty bedding with popcorn and stains; screaming baby next door

“Convenient location and comfortably appointed rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. But, I was not able to get a good nights sleep for several reasons. The bedding was dirty, with large, visible stains and the blanket was covered with bits of popcorn. There was a lot of road noise coming through the window. And, although the hotel was not very full, they placed a large family with a continually screaming baby next door to us.”

“The Courtyard is a standard for a modern traveler. It's desk space and free broadband internet access made keeping track of my online auctions as convenient as home. The king sized bed and spacious room with high ceilings were a treat. I will look for this chain everywhere I go.”

• It was just a very nice place. I've stayed there many times before.
• The heating and a/c is a little hard to regulate - too hot or cold.

• Restraunt next door delivers to room good food low price
• Breakfast at hotel looks like a cont. you get free then charge 9 dollers each. Overpriced

“Everything was great. Bed was good ,rooms clean.The only problem was we went to eat and there was no sign for price,then getting charged 20.00 for breakfast.I would recommend this hotel just be aware of breakfast price.”

• The sliding door from our room that led to the pool.
• No breakfast, not much cable tv, no microwave or frig in the room.

“Though the stay at Courtyard Marriott in Springfield, MO was enjoyable, the staff did not seem at all courteous or helpful, giving wrong directions to two different locations in town, and misinforming my party of the continental breakfast details.”

“I was very happy to receive the Courtyard by Marriott at Springfield (MO) Airport. It was certainly all a 2.5 star hotel should be. In fact, I rate its comfort and amenities at 3 star level (it only lacks an on-site restaurant serving more than just breakfast). The breakfast buffet was a marvelous value and the indoor pool, while small, was a nice amenity. The rooms were clean and attractive and the staff members were very friendly.”
