- Quiet. High Speed Internet. Safe parking. Security was good.
- I am an older traveler. There was no porter service and no elevators. The stairs were not convenient to the rooms.
“The hotel service was unimpressive. There was a storm two nights of my stay. Power was down and the response times were slow. The food was excellent and served well. The Internet services were good when they were operational. Front desk personnel were not too friendly or helpful. I recommend this hotel when quiet is a necessity for your business travel. Rooms are clean and neat though the wallpaper was peeling.”

- The restaurant attached to the hotel.
- My children and had to wait to check in and no towels.
“I arrived at 1:15pm the room was not ready but I was given the room number since check in was not until 3pm I understood they were still working on it. I was told it would be ready within the hour. I came back at 3:30 1/2 hr after check in time still no room ready. child got injured and NO first aid kit in hotel. No additional towels for pool and had to use wet towels to dry off.”

- The location was ideal for our needs and the room was spacious and clean.
- All was fine.
“The hotel was in an ideal location for what we needed. The room had a king-sized bed which was clean with morning coffee. Registration was quick and pleasant and we needed for nothing.”

- Location was perfect, close to work, restaurants and shopping.
- There was nothing I didn't like.

- For the price we paid I was super happy with our room and the hotel!
- I was disappointed with the landscaping, but it was winter at the time.
“The location was great, easy to get in and out of. The rooms were so nice and clean. Maid service was very good. All in all a good experience!”

- Friendly staff, clean room, nice bar/restaurant service.
- Tricky early entrance, hotel entrance way before sign on feed road. got lost.
“Once I knew how to get into entrance of hotel, there were no problems. hotel may want to have small entrance sign at entrance as it looks to be car dealership entrance and is about 1/8th of a mile before actual large clarion hotel sign. 1st time I jumped curb to get there and damaged front of muffler.”

- It was convenient and not too expensive
- It wasn't extremely nice, but it met the demands for what we needed.

- The location was good and our previous experience was a positive experience so we thought we would try it again.
- The hotel had a distinctive bad odor, the ceiling had portions missing, the grout was missing in the bathroom, and the carpet was stained.
“The children and I would have rather spent the night in a tent. I felt this hotel to be very dirty and needed extensive remodeling in the rooms.”

“The location was fine but our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and the hall was terrible with smoke smell. The inside rooms looked out to a conference room with walls to block, so the room was dreary.”

- Hotel manager worked well with us to give another room after first had problem
- First room given had ash tray with several butts & an unfinished drink glass next to it.

- Liked it overall, nice sports bar, clean, comfortable.
- Got 2 dbl beds inst of King I resv 3 monts prior, mgr said it was common pratice.
“Knowing Springfield was going to be very busy, we made our resv 3 months ahead for a No smok, King size. We arr around 5 PM, was given 2 dbl beds instead. Mgr said he let previous cust stay in rm extra nite, then booked rm out for next nite. He adv me it was common pratice and he had been mg hotels for yrs. Basically take it or leave it. No compensation offered. Had to take it, all springfield booked. All staff other than Mgr ok.”

- The staff was very, very helpful.
- The coffeemaker had not been . The grounds were still in the machine and we did not have but one cup.
“The Clarion was just fine for our family. The soundproofing," or lack of, did keep us awake as people wandered up and down halls through the night. Everything was nicely clean. The amenities were appropriate...nothing fancy. For the money this was a good place."”

“Bottom sheet was too small for the bed. Hotels should always use fitted sheets. If you turned over more than twice during the course of the night it came off the mattress. Still, it was a good value and located close to Battlefield Mall.”

“For some reason our room did not have any hot water, so we were moved to another room on the same floor (didn't want to change floors, due to the fact that our 9 month old was asleep in a crib). We moved everything to the new room, a little later went to turn on the AC and we didn't have any AC. We informed the front desk when we left the next morning.”
