• Clean, Newly remodeled
• No retaurant.

“Hotel was clean and had a pool and exercise room. NO restaurant on site which would make it alot more enjoyable. They offer coffee and teas throughout the day but no continental breakfast however your rooms have a kitchenette in them and the local mini market across the street can help you with groceries although a bit pricey.”

• Liked the amenities and the staff.
• Thin walls and problematic television set up.

“We stayed at this place to take the bar exam at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The problem is that the hotel isn't exactly downtown; it's just north. So be prepared for a walk. The plus side is that the amenities such as the kitchen, refrigerator, workout room, pool room, etc. were great and so was the staff. On the downside, the TV had lots of problems (turning off and changing channels unexpectedly). But the biggest problem was that the rooms had thin walls. Our neighbors acted like they had never seen cupboards before and so were in and out of them all night long, which sounded like banging bass drums in our room.”

“Great staff, spacious rooms, cleans. Loved the free internet in the lobby. Did not like the area. Was described as Downtown Minneapolis, it is at the end of Downtown and in the Warehouse district. While the hotel itself was suitable for the children, the neighborhood was not.”

• The front desk clerk was so great and helpful.
• Housekeeping will keep trying to get into your room to clean. If you stay here, put up the do-not-disturb sign as soon as you check-in.

• The "suite" part of it wasn't separated enough.

“It was a great quiet spot, yet in the city. Close enough to the action, yet in a quiet neighborhood of condos/townhouses. I would have enjoyed an extended stay there.”

• Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they did not know, they looked it or referred you to the business center to find it yourself.
• Not close to Downtown but for a $7.00 taxi, which they call for you.

• You get full kitchen facilities, dishes. Hotel has a quiet policy starting at 9 or 9:30 even on Saturday night.

“This hotel is easy to get to and from, especially after the sad collapse of the I35 bridge. It is convenient to two other bridges over the river, not far from downtown shopping or the Metrodome, probably a fifteen minute drive to Rosedale. I love the convenience of the suites, with their full kitchens and pull out couches. For $8.00 a night, there is a gated parking lot.”

“The hotel was a little difficult to find. The bed was very comfortable. There was one queen bed, a sofa, and coffee table, office desk with two chairs, television, a full closet with shelves and a full size kitchen in the suite. I understand that this is a long-term stay facility. I was only there one night. There is an outside pool that may be used from 9am to 9pm. There is outside parking and secure underground parking. Hotel parking is an additional $8.00.”

• The room was comfortable-nice kitchenette.
• The pool cues did not have tips on them. The outdoor pool was small.

“Overall our stay was nice. It is a bit farther away from the metro dome than other motels but the 1 mile walk was safe and was not much of an inconvenience. The room was comfortable with a nice kitchenette to use if someone wanted to make food in their rooms.”

• Within walking distance of some great downtown attractions.
• Strange vibe. Desk staff at night in pajamas and unfriendly. Also used as a residence?

“The hotel didn't have much in the way of amenities, but was clean and in a pretty good location. Parking was no problem and seemed to be in a safe area. It almost seemed as if the hotel had some permanent residents. The front desk clerk on for the evening was dressed in pajamas and eating Chinese food in the lobby. Not a helpful guy at all. I asked if they had a safety pin and he answered no before I even finished asking the question.”

• Having a small kitchen for meals and secured parking. Also receiving the morning paper and receipt for room delivered to the door of our room.
• Size of living room and bed area was cramped especially with sofa bed open. Also finding dirty dishes and sofa cushions.

“For one night with 5 of us traveling, we had expected 6 for this trip, the rooms were adequate especially for the price we got them for. Overall considering price, location, secured parking in fenced in area , staff, and room overall I would keep this place in mind to stay at again.”

“The receptionist was not very friendly. We asked if we could have double beds since there were two of us staying in the room. I do not recall ever being asked when making the reservations if I wanted more than one bed for accommodations. Also, she told us it was a short walking distance to get to the tram. Wrong, we walked over 10 blocks at night to get to it to go to the Mall of America. Very disappointing when it's two women walking dark streets to return to our hotel room.”

• We had a full kitchen in our room. it was very clean.
• We asked for non-smoking but it was smoky in our room. not too close to the dome and down town.

“The hotel was very nice. We had a kitchen with dishes, silverware and pots and pans provided. The hotel staff was very friendly. They do charge $8.00 for overnight parking unless you go on the weekend. Then you do not get to park in the gated area unless you pay. We did ask for a non-smoking room but it had been smoked in.. We did not complain just opened the windows. It is not close to the Dome but close to the Target center. Very quite area of town.”

• One thing I liked about that hotel was the lobby and the pool room! Location was amazing as well.
• One thing I didn't like about that hotel was that the carpet was wet because of the cleaning that did before my arrival.

“This hotel was decent. There were a few things that needed hotel staff attention though. Our tub was disgusting - the drain was clogged and the bottom of the tub was very dirty. The kitchenette was a plus.”

• The staff neither said welcome, or goodbye; seemed to be too occupied.

“Even though we only stayed one night, this would be an excellent place to stay for a longer period of time, as the suite is spacious enough along with a workable kitchen. The outdoor pool area is a nice place to relax along with the fun pool table room.”

• It was located off one of the main downtown roads, so it made it easy to get to my tourist destinations and back.
• There were some major stains on the carpet that looked kind of like vomit; also it is near some strip clubs.

“Great place to stay for those who have a car to get around the city. Right off a main road, Washington Street, so it was easy to get to our destinations and back. Beautiful lobby and great front desk service.”

“A unique room due to it's kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, and set of cooking or eating utensils.) Very nice set up of the room, good bathroom but not exceptional. Parking on the street was fine at times, tough at others. 7 dollars to park in their underground garage. Internet was painless yet not wireless. Overall a good stay. Holiday Inn with a kitchen and without a pool.”

• This hotel had a great setup. It was like having your own apartment. The underground heated parking was cost effective and very nice as well!
• I feel that hotels that are extended stay style should have a c.d. player included.

• Warehouse district of Mnpls can be a little scary.

“I was surprised to find a full kitchen in my hotel. The best part was an underground heated garage. Anyone from Minnesota will tell you how fabulous this amenity is. I didn't have to scrape window in the morning.”

• Clean, comfy bed, internet access, good temperature control.
• It was a mile and a half from my downtown workplace, in -15 degree weather!

“The hotel was comfortable and clean and a nice place to come back to every night. It's in a cool neighborhood (the Warehouse district), not what I'd leap to call "downtown" but not too inconvenient to the downtown center (a mile and a half.) I found the rooms to be a little noisy, not well sound proofed. I was able to check out at 5 pm the day I left with no problem. There is free cable internet.”

• It was very safe due to its entrance gate.
• I wish it had a restaurant nearby.

“It was clean, but it had the smell of oily cooked food in the halls. It would do so, as each room has a kitchenette. Not what I was looking for. I was tired, hungry and was not familiar with the area to just head out and look for something. An attached eating establishment would be something I would like to choose for my next selection.”

• It was extremely far away from where we needed to go in downtown Minneapolis. No indoor swimming pool for the kids.
