“Beautiful rooms and bar area. Very knowledgeable concierge service and extremely helpful for our luggage needs. The location on block E was also readily accessible to many activities. Well worth the stay.” Jun 16, 2009 by
Julie from Buffalo,MN
“Very fun, trendy, sophisticated atmosphere where all our traveling needs were met. Everyone was very accommodating.” May 20, 2009 by
Ong from Seattle,WA
“I stayed at the Graves when it first opened and it was very nice, however I wasn't as impressed with my most recent visit. The furnishings in my room were old, worn and stained. The room felt a bit dirty.” Oct 15, 2008 by
Sidonia
“Hotel is one of the best kept secrets in Minneapolis. I was impressed with the high quality and the wonderful treatment I received. Located in the Warehouse District, close to shopping and events, this luxury hotel is the only place to stay.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Robert from Wausau, WI
“Lacks a bath tub, and has limited space for clothes.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Drew from Brooklyn Park, MN
“A fantastic experience. Ultra cool and modern to the point that some might be intimidated or turned off right away. Personally, I loved it! Ideal location right near all the action. Once in the room, every detail was taken care of from the mp3 player hooked the large plasma TV, to the very high end soaps & shampoos, to the ultra-soft bed, to the flat screen in the bathroom positioned to be viewed from the toilet, sink, or shower. And so quiet (on a weekend party night) I thought I was the only one in the place. I haven't seen this level of detail since staying in a Bellagio suite.” Aug 27, 2008 by
Jake from Mankato, MN
“The Graves 601 is by far the nicest hotel Ive stayed at in the Twin Cities area. Very polite and friendly staff. Stayed on the 15th floor in a corner room and you cant beat the view. A TV in the bathroom and a 5 head shower are also nice features. My only complaints are no free parking available, and the rooms are quite a bit smaller than they seem on the virtual tour. Too small for the price I think. Other than that the Graves is a very contemporary upscale place to spend the weekend.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Georgia “Loved it! Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. I can't wait to stay here again. Close to everything through the sky-ways. Use their valet service and walk everywhere. Wonderful staff, modern ambiance. Perfect.” Aug 9, 2008 by
John from Mchenry, IL
“Check-in was chaotic. Drive way is hard to find & very congested. There no signs nor staff telling you that front desk in on 4th floor. Check-in was prolonged, need to sign multiple waivers. My family has spent 50% of last 7 weeks traveling, this check-in was the most prolonged, and unusual. Styling of rooms is unique but uncomfortable. The hallways are dark, some what scary (we come from a smaller town, not all that comfortable with big cities to begin with, due to stories). Multiple time the elevators had foul smells, and no staff at front desk were there to notify. Access to the elevators going to the rooms is through the bar. I suggest skipping this hotel if you are a family traveler.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Vernon R. from Pryer Lake, MN
“Beautiful hotel and a great location. We enjoyed being able to walk to different nearby attractions. We did not like the police sirens and flashing lights in the early hours of the morning. Some of the staff at the front desk were not all that friendly. But we would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends and family.” May 29, 2008 by
Bree from Madison Lake, MN
“Beautiful hotel in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. If you are going to anything at the Target Center, I'd stay at the Graves 601. Across the street is the Target Center, Hard Rock is on the same street. First Ave across the street and several bars.” May 7, 2008 by
Martin D. from Big Lake, MN
“Great hotel. Located right downtown. Disappointed that parking was not included in the price of the room. Other than that, everything was great. Rooms are not perfectly quiet. Could hear someone going to the bathroom in the morning.” May 6, 2008 by
Pj from Stillwater, MN
“Right across the street from Target Center, on the same block as many good restaurants and bars, near all the action in Downtown Minneapolis. Drove by it twice because the entrance/valet area is so small. Contemporary but elegant decor, loved the bed and "pillow menu". Rooms are not conducive to room service dinner, great breakfast in bed!” Apr 18, 2008 by
Madelon from La Porte, IN
“Good choice for the trend set; I prefer more traditional, I guess. Too much emphasis on partying, sports, etc.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Mary from Sioux Falls, SD
“It was a wonderful hotel - very trendy decor - on the dark side. The service and convenience were exceptional.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Emily from Rochester, MN
“I loved it!” Mar 19, 2008 by
Rajiv from Columbus, OH
“Luxurious hotel with cool decor. Downtown in the middle of the action. Near many restaurants. Across from target center.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Larry from Hudson, WY
“Very nice modern hotel in Downtown Minneapolis, good location, great bar and dining. Nice quiet comfortable rooms, and very nice staff.” Feb 9, 2008 by
Beth from Circle Pines, MN
“This is the most beautiful hotel I have been in. The finest materials were used in building this hotel- bamboo, granite, glass, slate, maple, etc. The sheets and bedding were 600 count percale and very luxurious. The lighting throughout the hotel was very dramatic. Very posh.” Jan 18, 2008 by
Thomas from Marina Del Rey, CA
“Great hotel but they still have archaic practices concerning phone charges. I used their phone for a conference call with an 800 prefix and still ended up being charges $112 dollars.” Mar 1, 2006 by
Ron from Friday Harbor, WA
“Same as most hotels, students earning extra income as employees. Not very professional. Even after confirming our room via phone, upon arrival desk clerk would not put us in the penthouse. Great view from the 21 floor, good bar. Will continue to stay at the Graves as long as the price is right. The Graves is then a good value. ” Feb 12, 2006 by
Ken from Bloomington, IL
“The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. I was hoping it had more amenities for someone physically active (workout facilities, pool, sauna, etc) but overall the staff as amazingly attentive.” Feb 7, 2006 by
Pamela from Coon Rapids, MN
“I have stayed at this hotel a couple times before, when it was the Le Meridian, and have enjoyed each and every stay. The staff is professional, helpful and the location is convenient. 601 Graves is one of my favorite places to stay in Minneapolis.”
