• I thought the room was exceptional, great city location and buffet breakfast was excellent.
• Nothing.

• Spaciousness of the room, buffet breakfast in the morning, attention to detail of the room.
• Pool was less than convenient to get to, not attached to the hotel.

“This hotel was a nice surprise for the money; clean, well appointed rooms and a huge buffet breakfast in the lobby the next morning. Staff were helpful, but not overly friendly. Nicely located for anything you'd want to do in Minneapolis, and convenient to get to.”

• Contemporary, great location, beautiful room and view of the city!
• Continental breakfast ended a bit early.

“Great! Definitely overly impressed. It had a full kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, everything! Felt very safe with the security and hotel staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was a perk and by far the best continental breakfast I have ever seen in a hotel. Great value! Great price! Definitely will be going back!”

“Great decor, nice clean room. You will pay an extra 20.00/day minimum to park in the hotel ramp if there is room. Otherwise get your walking shoes and wallet ready!”

• The rooms were huge and clean and the staff was friendly.
• Cannot think of anything.

“When I walked into the room I was blown away. It was enormous, had a kitchen and 'living' area and was very clean. Hot breakfasts were complimentary and of very good quality. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. And the location was right in the heart of the city, so close to everything. I was very pleasantly. I would definitely visit this hotel again for future trips to Minneapolis.”

• Everything seemed designed for convenience and comfort. Lovely rooms that did not seem generic, wish we would have stayed longer!

“I was very, very impressed with this hotel. In particular, it was an incredible improvement over a hotel we had stayed at in the same area. The room was huge, very comfortable, and decorated very nicely (not your typical generic hotel room). Having a kitchenette was extremely convenient, and there were many other accommodations available for business and longer term stays. Breakfast and internet access were conveniently included as complimentary perks, which doesn't seem to be the norm in this particular area for other hotels. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The view was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this hotel, and look forward to staying there again.”

• They upgraded up to a suite at check-in. Awesome.
• Will definitely stay there again!

“We checked in later in the day and we got upgraded to suite for free! The room was humongous and probably the fanciest room I've ever stay in -- we had our own kitchen with it! The free continental breakfast was great too.”

• Spacious rooms great for kids to spread out.
• Bed has one super thin blanket pack an extra one!

“Room was very spacious & clean pull out couch bed was extremely small & there was no sheets or blankets for it had to call down for them. Also regular bed had a tiny thin blanket & sheet blanket was so thin I thought there was 2 sheets on the bed & nothing else the free breakfast was pretty good with eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, waffle maker, cereal, bagels. downtown location is great.”

• The room was very nice looking and the staff was friendly.
• My friend would have been able to book a room (their website) for less than I paid.

“The location was great for us. It was close to nightlife that we wanted. A Target store was around the corner. Parking was easy. Lots of shopping nearby on Nicollet. Easy cab access. Enjoyed the fridge and small kitchen. the room size was great compared to cost. Many more expensive hotels we have stayed at offer much less space to spread out in. Another plus was the bathroom. I like having the sink outside the bathroom as it helps when more than one person is getting ready. Also, the bathroom had one thing that most hotels do not have. A manually control ceiling fan/vent that actually works. Most hotels seem to have wimpy fans that do not seem to do anything thus leaving humidity hanging.”

• Very clean hotel, very impressive accommodations.
• There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

“This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I and my father in law just needed a simple room to stay in while we attended the Minneapolis car show. This hotel was anything but simple. The room was very large; everything appeared brand new, and very nicely decorated. It was much larger and nicer than some 5 stars I have stayed in while traveling in Mexico. There was nothing about this hotel I didn't like and plan to return when I am in Minneapolis again.”

• The staff and the accommodations were wonderful.
• The doorbell was working when we arrive; I had to call them to let me in to register.

“This hotel is unique in that it encompasses the top five floors of a 14-floor structure. The rooms were spacious; the kitchenettes were well organized and well stocked. A traveler, either or leisure, would find this hotel great in that one could walk to anywhere downtown. Walking could be done outside or using the skywalk system.”

• Fantastic rooms, friendly staff, and quiet staff in the mornings.
• Paying for parking.

“This was a great hotel, went above and beyond my expectations. We travel to a different major league ballpark every year and this was the cleanest and nicest hotel yet. The staff was friendly, breakfast was GREAT, and staff was quiet in the mornings so you could sleep in. A good location, easy to take the train for 1.50 to the Mall of America and to the ball park for .50. If we are ever in Minneapolis again we will stay here. Also very secure, had to use your room key to get in the doors and to operate the elevators.”

“My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the superior accommodations and the classical decor of this hotel. The king sized bed and living areas provided us with the ultimate experience in comfort and beautiful surroundings. It was also quiet, an unexpected treat. Thank you.”

• Rooms are huge and very clean/weather no problem with skywalk.
• Spending parking although the ramp is attached.

• The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and clean.
• Parking.

“The hotel itself was excellent. Our need was only for a one-night stay because we went to the Target Center for a concert. We wanted something walking distance. So, this hotel exceeded our needs. I would love to return to spend a romantic night in the room.”

• The breakfast buffet and evening snacks were delightful!
• Parking was available but not advertised

“The Residence Inn is conveniently located downtown. We had no trouble driving to it. The staff were delightful, the room, clean and inviting, and the amenities were first rate!”

• Location - just off lobby of US Bank building
• Beds are horrible. Thin mattress and super soft pillows that do not support your head.

“This is not your usual Residence Inn. I have stayed at many, but the nicest thing about this one is location and staff. I stayed for 3 nights and found the beds impossible to sleep in combination of thin mattresses and too soft of pillows). Add to that a overly warm room that could not be cooled down and I will never stay here again.”
