• The location was perfect for our purpose - staff was wonderful!
• We were disappointed to find out that the hotel pool was not available for use during our stay.

• Friendly, clean, spacious rooms.
• Could not turn on TV but then they fixed the fuse, remote did not work.

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay, even though it was short. I had a quiet floor and it was easy to get to from where I parked. Front desk was very helpful and the rooms were clean. Very hot water and good water pressure. Nice plush towels and over all a great experience.”

• I liked the fact that they were able to make the accommodations work for me.
• The beds were too hard, for me.

“This is a nice hotel. I have stayed here several times before and the only thing I really didn't care for is how the pool seemed to be over chlorinated, this time it was much better. I really enjoyed my stay.”

“If you're nitpicky and easily upset over insignificant things, this is not for you. Ice machines were broken, one of the phones in the room did not work, musty and Smokey aroma in the halls. But if you like value/convenience of location, it's an excellent stay.”

• Hot tub, and Green Mill was pretty good restaurant.
• Fairly isolated, can't walk to anything.

“This Holiday Inn turned out to be good for my purposes (24-hour stopover). They have shuttles to the airport and Mall of America, which is good because the place is in sort of an office-industrial no-man's-land at an I-35W exit with few services. So, if you're car-less, you won't be able to walk to many places easily. The attached Green Mill restaurant was a bit better, and the indoor Holidome-type pool and hot tub were nice. Staff were friendly. They also had an Internet terminal in the business center. The place is starting to show some age, but I was very happy with it, and if I were on a longer trip to the area and had a rental car it would work fine as a base.”

• After driving thru a snowstorm it was a relaxing calm atmosphere, and bar to have a drink.
• There were stains on carpets and furniture.

“The hotel was centrally located for what our needs were. A bit dirty in places not bad. The carpets and furniture had stains on them. Bathroom was clean and the beds were nice. Also having the Green Mill right in the motel was very nice. Not having to leave the motel to go and eat when we had a crappy day already.”

• The location was excellent and easy to maneuver around.
• Noisy hotel guest next to us - woke us up both nights several times.

“It was easy to maneuver on the back road to get to the Mall of America and the staff was nice enough to take the time to explain the best way to get there with the least amount of traffic.”

“My individual room left much to be desired, lights that didn't work, electrical plugs that were non operational, surely needing an upgrade of the facilities for the room, the lobby and general areas were much better kept than my individual room.”

“The women at the front desk (it appeared to be the front desk manager) at the Airport Holiday Inn, was very rude. We stayed at the Airport Hyatt 2 nights earlier and the staff at the Hyatt were wonderful and treated us great. Also, our bathroom sink had a huge crack the entire length of it.”

“Okay. The walls were thin and you could hear things in the rooms around you and the hallway. The bathroom had a moldy smell and the lights made loud buzzing noises. Very uncomfortable beds. The staff was friendly.”

• Parking was terrible, lot way too small.

“I had a poolside room with king bed. It was noisy, would have preferred an outside room. It was clean, but pretty standard, nothing fancy. TV was difficult to figure out. Parking was the worst I've ever encountered. Since there is a Green Mill in the hotel, there was no parking available for guests, and not much that can be done about that due to location.”

• Easy location to I35 and 494. The breakfast at the Green Mill restaurant was good.
• The swimming pool and hot tub were very busy and crowded. It would be nice if the pool opened before 9.

“The Holiday Inn was convenient and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and knew their jobs. The on site restaurant had very good food at affordable prices. I will stay there again when I get the chance.”

“Walking in the room carpet will make your feet dirty. Furniture is old and dated. Feels like a dorm, parking lot is not maintained well, snow banks. I'd consider this a 2.5 star hotel based solely on restaurant onsite. Not very convenient to many places.”

• Great location, 24hr shuttle, very good Greenhill restaurant attached to hotel.
• Older hotel, "no frills", many business/airport travelers so loud in the early morning.

“The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We heard no noise from other rooms or the hallway. We requested a wakeup call and it worked fine. The TV. Remote was a little hard to figure out trying to get regular channels instead of pay per view. The outside of the building was rather unattractive, but the inside was quite nice.”
