• Always a pleasant hotel with polite and helpful staff members.
• This time there was a party in an adjacent room that went on into early morning hours.

“For us, for this trip, the hotel was an excellent choice, good convenient location, excellent room and bed.”

• Easy to get to, nice rooms, staff and the area.
• It kind of seemed like it may not have been a safe part of town, some rough teenagers hanging outside hotel.

“Most excellent, only concern was there where about 10 rough looking teenagers using very bad language just outside the hotel doors. Would scare some families.”

“The pool had way to much chlorine, the hot tub didn't work half the time, the toilet in my room kept running so we had to shut the door, and they messed up the reservations and put a family of 4 into a room with one king size bed.”

• The staff was tremendous! Very accommodating to our family.
• They have a very small hot tub which was disappointing. They need an face lift, very 80's.

• Quiet and friendly.
• Hot tub was way too small.

“I like the peaceful area and it was close to everything we were in the cities for. The bed was very comfortable. Would be great if they had a continental breakfast but for the price it is understandable why they don't. We had an awesome deal through Priceline.”

• Friendly staff and a good priceline price.
• Pool area dirty, whirlpool cold and tiny, pool shower freezing, bathroom.

“Room good. Lobby great. Staff wonderful. Pool area was dirty, whirlpool was lukewarm and shower in the pool area was freezing. Bathroom needed a good cleaning and repair of tile.”

• Very comfortable beds, quiet, heat controls.
• Poor flushing toilet and slow draining sink.

“Convenient location right off I-94 . Impressed with how quiet it was and the comfortable beds. The pool was cold and not nearly at the 82 degree temperature. A nice clean facility that I would stay at again.”

• The bedding and bed were great. Desk chair was comfortable. Window clip was nice. Magnifying mirror & shower head were wonderful.
• The size of the bathroom was quite small.

“The hotel was inviting, quiet and comfortable and very conveniently located. The high quality bedding, comfortable bed and serene surroundings made our 2-night stay very enjoyable. The bathroom was a little cramped but the magnifying mirror and wonderful shower made up for it. We would recommend it highly!”

• Location was pretty good.
• Shower temperature, neighbors were loud.

“Other than our neighbors being loud with doors slamming all night and early in the morning it was a nice hotel. The shower head came up to chest, but I am starting to get use to that as well. The employee's were nice and professional, and the facilities seemed clean.”

• Carpets are disgusting - turned kids feet/knees black.

“The weekend manager was really grouchy and not kid friendly at all, which was surprising because of the number of kids there. We experienced this on multiple visits. Also, the floors in the three different rooms we've stayed in, were all dirty. Our kids crawled around on the floor and came away with black feet and knees in a short time.”

“Because of construction, finding entry to hotel from highway was not easy (poor markings). Hotel room was generously sized but hotel services were not particularly convenient (for example, ice machine 3 floors away).”

• I did not find anything that was negative about the crown plaza.

“The hotel was a great place for an excellent price at a location near our final destination. The access to this hotel was fairly easy in a city that appears to have it's share of detours (construction projects).”

• Free happy hour every night! Free breakfast every morning.
• Maid service wasnt good, 20.00 per day for parking!

“I was impressed with the free happy hour and the free breakfast buffet with custom omelets and eggs. Everything you could ask for in a breakfast! The only draw back was the $20.00 per day for parking. The happy hour and breakfast more than made up for it though!”

• They offered quiet floors. We had our young daughter with us, but needed quiet nights. They kept us separate from a hockey team that was there the s.
• The pool area was in need of repairs.

“We had a good experience. The room we had was small, but nice with a good view of Downtown. The hotel was very easy to find. I would like to see this hotel update its pool area. Great service from staff!”

• Free parking, free internet, location right off the freeway.
• Fairly small room, but okay for a single traveler.

“I've stayed here a handful of times, and it's always a good experience. However- I did not enjoy check in. The clerk (a young lady) was "chatting it up" with bunch young guys, just there to flirt. While I was being checked in, her conversation/Attention was directed towards them. This was somewhat annoying. Otherwise, the stay itself was very nice.”

“Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The security guard even brought us a container of milk for the toddler while we were at the pool. The price was great and the beds were comfy. I also thought they were quiet rooms. Convenient location to shopping centers as well.”

• Workout room only had cardio machines.

“At three-star I expected the room to be comfortable, but it was actually really comfortable. Upon arrival the room had a light on and soft music playing. It reminded me of a San Francisco boutique hotel room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

• The buffet was cold.

“This hotel was fantastic. The room welcomed you with the sounds of birds chirping, the bed was fantastic. My husband was traveling out of state at the same time and stayed in Pittsburg and Detroit at Crown Plazas. He also stated that the Crown Plazas in those Cities were wonderful. We spent an extra night (Friday ) at the Crown Plaza in Minneapolis before heading 360 miles north to our residence!”

• It was close to the location we were visiting.
• Not providing enough beds and the rooms were not together.

“I was not impressed with the way the hotel would not accommodate the fact that with four minor children, the two oldest of the four slept in a room alone with no adult, because there was nowhere but the floor to sleep. All the rooms had king size beds in them. We should have double beds in each room with the amount of people I had along with me. One of the rooms was on a different floor, which made getting together difficult. For a 3-star hotel the pool was small and the hot tub only had a limit of 3 people at a time. They didn't provide much kids programming on their cable channels (no Disney channel) but there were to many news channels.”

• The free wireless was a plus.
• We got stuck in a room with a horrible view.

“Upon first arriving, the lobby was very simple and clean, very modern furnishings and very friendly hotel staff. Walking down the halls, it seems very cold and cramped. The walls are bare and gray and the hallway itself is narrow. You can hear everything going on around you if the room is quiet. They do offer a nice relaxing CD and ear plugs for a reason. We were just looking for a clean place to lay our heads after a long day.”

• The housekeeping was absolutely amazing.
• The exercise room was all old equipment, dirty water and food was ridiculously priced.

“The hotel was mediocre. I thought the bed was clean but our TV was scrimmaged, our room was small and the equipment was old and the water looked like it wasn't changed for months. I really didn't think this met my standards higher then 2 stars. The people were friendly and the housekeeping was phenomenal. But not happy. I also requested downtown Minneapolis and it put me 20 minutes from down town.”
