• The hotel was very quiet. The bedding was wonderful, especially the pillows. Great airport shuttle service.
• It was farther away from the airport than I thought it would be.

“I don't think I've ever spent a night in a hotel in a large city that was quieter than this one was. Put that together with a great bed, wonderful bedding and a great airport shuttle service that picked up my daughter and brought her safely to the hotel in the middle of the night- I think the hotel was great! I'd recommend this hotel for those wanting a nice quiet night's sleep- not for families wanting a pool and recreational facilities for their kids.”

• Lots interstate noise.

“The traffic in MPLS is horrendous. It's road rebuilding season compounded by the I-35 bridge rebuild. I understand that its tough to do, but until that bridge is rebuilt you may want to put this particular Hampton a wee bit farther down the list.”

• Friendliness of personal, cleanliness o& updated furnishings.
• The elevator was not working after we came back from dinner and we were on the top floor.

“We needed a place to stay overnight so our adult daughter could catch a flight the next day. The studio with a king size bed was a good idea. She did say the studio bed was uncomfortable and she had no privacy. We like that everything was clean, the bed looked inviting and it was comfortable. The breakfast room was arranged so it was not congested. The food was good. We liked it here. After we were there I realized I had stayed there before and liked it.”

• Beautifully decorated, very comfortable bedding!
• Walls were paper thin - heard everything. Ruined the experience.

“This Hampton was a delight to enter - clean, comfortable, cozy feeling. Room was extremely clean, wonderful bedding, very nice room accessories. Despite all these wonderful things, the walls were so thin that you could hear every word being said in neighboring rooms or from the hallway. When someone shut their door it felt like the ceiling would cave in! Very sad that was the case, because the room and hotel overall were very attractive, clean, and comfortable. Also had a fabulous continental breakfast! Denny's next door, but save the breakfast money and eat at the Hampton!”

• The bedding. Beds, pillows, sheets, comforters were all very comfortable!.
• No parking, I parked in the Denny¿s parking lot.

• We were assigned to a smoking room when we had requested nonsmoking.

“We had requested a "nonsmoking room". I am allergic to smoke. The person at the desk said that since we requested the room we should have read the small print as there are no guarantees. We were given the room that was least in demand as the hotel was completely booked. Fortunately the weather was nice and we were on an upper floor, so we left the windows wide open all night and ran the heater. The room smelled very strongly of smoke. It was otherwise clean and nice. If it would have been too cold to have the windows open all night, we could not have stayed in that room.”

“Definitely recommend this hotel. It was next to a Denny's restaurant, and a sports bar, close to Mall of America, and easy access to the airport. It had a better than average continental breakfast including sausage, eggs, and muffins. It was also quiet.”

• They have put in new beds with some soft and some firm pillows, and a great comforter. Made for a great nights sleep!
• The water control for the tub/shower was old and very difficult to use. Squeaked and did not accurately set the water temperature.

“A great hotel for the price. The breakfast provided a large variety of food. Had a computer and printer with Internet in the lobby for guest use (limited to 10 minutes).”

• I liked the comfortable bedding and the lap tray for the bed that is provided.
• The door in the bathroom was in a bad place as to make it difficult to get out of the shower.

“I was asking for non-smoking room due to my allergy and 2 beds instead they did not say it wasn't available and sent me to smoking room with 1 bed and said all rooms were full, also TV remote did not work & TV doesn't have a good pictures, internet to use did not work, asked front desk she said have no clue.”

“Thought it was quite good. Have stayed here before. Never had a problem with service. Has always been quiet. Desk help has typically been quite good. On previous occasions some were not as friendly as others, but on this stay, all were friendly, and overall, on all or most stays at this location, I feel the staff is great, friendly, courteous.”

“I have recommended your services to tons of friends because we have always been pleased with the results. This hotel stay was horrible. In my original request, I had requested a room for 2 adults and 2 children. When I checked in, I was given a room with a king size bed. On Sunday evening, we returned to the hotel after a long day and found out our keys were deactivated. We had to walk around the building. We had to wait for service at the front desk. At this point, we found out that both of our keys were deactivated. We did not have them near any other credit cards so it had to have been done in their system somehow. The clerks were very rude that night and also the next morning. My husband went to get some juice with the kids and ran out barefoot, the front desk clerk screamed at him, telling him he could not be in that area without shoes. ”

“Have never stayed at a Hampton Inn & would definitely stay here again. Slept great--bed was extremely comfortable. Shuttle was great to get to/from the airport as well. There was even coffee & food ready in the breakfast area at 5:15 a.m. Will stay here again when need to be in the area.”

• The rooms were clean and the manager was accommodating.
• We did not get our wakeup calls morning we were there. One employee told us it was our word against theirs that we even called for one.

“Overall, with the exception of not receiving our wakeup calls either morning we stayed there, it was great. The rooms were clean and for the most part the staff was friendly (except one in particular). Great continental breakfast the one morning we did wake up early enough for it, though!”

• They had a wonderful continental breakfast, wide variety and a large amount.
• I was expecting to have a fridge and microwave but it did not come with the room.

“I found the hotel very clean. It was not far from Mall of America. The continental breakfast was well worth it. Unfortunately the were no laundry facilities available and the staff could not help out with locating a laundry mat in the area. The Rooms were large. All in all we had a great time traveling.”

• No clock radio in our last room, asked couple times to get one and never did.

• The hotel was right off the interstate and very close to the airport and the Mall of America. The staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room.
• The decor needs major updating and there is no pool or hot tub.

“The hotel is easy to find and right off the interstate. There aren't a lot of places to eat with in walking distance except the Denny's that is attached to the hotel and a Joe Sensor's across the parking lot. It is a well maintained and inexpensive place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep. The free breakfast was good as well.”

• Jimmy @ hotel desk was able to get us to the hotel even though there was a detour on the highway. Great breakfast!!!!
• Our toilet broke twice and the patio door wasn't very safe-didn't shut completely.

“Amazing breakfast! Great, friendly, and cheerful breakfast staff, as well as hotel desk staff. I would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn in Bloomington, MN again!”

• Great restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, nicely appointed room.
• No pool and somewhat distant from the airport.

“This hotel is perfect for the traveler looking for a good place to rest. There are great dining options within walking distance as well as a complimentary hot breakfast. There's no pool in the hotel or attractions within walking distance, but there is plenty of stuff to do within a short driving distance for those looking to pass the time. The rooms and common areas are nicely appointed and well-maintained. The new "Hampton bed" was especially pleasant.”

• My no smoking floor smelt like a smoking floor but room was fine!

• There was nothing good about this hotel.
• It was dirty and run down.

“This hotel was awful. Usually, Hampton Inns are clean and the staff is courteous. So when this was the hotel assigned I was happy. I was unpleasantly surprised when we arrived. The front desk woman gave us a smoking room. The room was dirty and extremely smelly. In addition, the lobby, the hallways and the exterior were dirty and rundown looking. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this hotel..”
