• Attractive interior color scheme and lighting. Above average breakfast selection. Excellent value.
• Some front desk staff were not knowledgeable about telephone function for international calls.

“The hotel is well managed: clean, comfortable, quiet, pleasant decor and lighting, great breakfast selection (make-your-own waffle, muffin, cereal, hard-boil eggs, toast, bagel, fruit, oatmeal, etc.). Friendly staff. There's a cafe express where one can purchase snacks and drinks. A very pleasant overall experience. Will return if in the area.”

• The service was excellent and the continental breakfast was great.
• The bedding was the only thing I was disappointed with. It was very stiff and uncomfortable.

“Our stay at La Quinta was very nice. My daughter had a great time in the swimming pool area. It was very private and clean. The service was excellent. I wish the bedding would have been more comfortable, but overall, it was very nice.”

• Good free breakfast.
• Front desk staff was smoking in front of hotel door.

“Rooms were clean but simple. Not very attractive. I did not appreciate the front desk staff smoking outside the fornt door. I have asthma and the sign on the hotel specifically stated no smoking within 20 feet of the entrance.”

• The beds were the greatest and enjoyed the breakfast.

“This is a place that I feel most travelers would love to stay at. It is close to shopping and restaurants. We would certainly love to stay there again.”

• The staff was helpful and accommodating.
• Location and no popcorn.

“I thought the hotel itself was very nice. Our room was clean, the towels were nice. I had to make three requests to the front desk to get the roll-away. Evening staff looked all over for popcorn, but none to be had. Oh well! The breakfast was good, standard continental fare! Location of this hotel was difficult to get to and get out of. Shuttle service was nice to MOA.”

• Location to Interstate and Mall of America.
• Internet access did not work and they are a horrible firm.

“La Quinta provided the basic needs for a family on a vacation or wanting to spend time at the Mall of America. I would not recommend this hotel for the business traveler that needs internet access. Internet service is horrible and although not controlled by La Quinta does have an impact on their business at this hotel.”

• Great continental breakfast! Clean room!
• Small pool.

“The common areas are pleasant and the room was nice and clean. The best is the continental breakfast. My family saved probably $30 by eating here instead of another restaurant. The pool is very little and would be considered crowded if more than 8 people are in it. They have 2 complimentary computers (with printers) available for use. The WiFi connection worked great from the room too. Would stay again!”

• Location and breakfast were very nice.
• The elevators did not always work and were extremely slow.

“This is a great hotel to stay at if you have children or want to relax. They have a nice pool with great hours, nice location that feels safe, the shuttle service is not the greatest, so plan on driving, but it is a short trip to the mall. The breakfast bar is awesome and the dining area very nice. We have stayed here before and will stay again in the future, we rather enjoy the hotel and all that it has to offer.”

“Nice place, nice pool, friendly staff. Room was comfy. Beds were really comfy for a hotel. Right off 494 but a bit hard to find as you get close to hotel. I stayed 2 days with my son. We were comfortable and satisfied with accommodations.”

“Very nice and clean hotel. It seems to be recently renovated. The breakfast in the morning is sufficient and the staff is friendly. The rooms are well kept the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is in great need of renovation. The hot tub was cold and the pool area was out of towels.”

• The rooms were a lot better than what I expected.
• I wish the continental breakfast was a little better.

“Very nice hotel for the price. It really exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Minneapolis, MN. It's only about 10 minutes outside of the city. Once again I had no complaints about this hotel. And the beds are simply AWESOME. You'll really never want to get up!”

• Accommodating and clean. I was very tired and appreciated that it was so nice.
• It was hard to find at 1:00 am. Not really well marked and hidden behind other hotels.

“Once I finally located the hotel, I was grateful that it was so clean and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer. The lobby was clean and the staff was very nice. As a senior woman traveling alone, I appreciated that it was in a well lighted, safe area.”

• Great customer service, shuttle to/from airport, comfortable beds & linens, Excellent continental breakfast!
• No room service & ice machines only every other floor - had to cart small children just for ice.

“Fantastic place to stay. Very clean, great service and rooms very comfortable. Staff also recommended, great local restaurants that deliver and also had coupons. I'd stay there again anytime!”

• The tub is flood when we were taking a bath, but that doesn't cause its overall to be the 2.5 star hotel.

• The front desk staff and hotel shuttle drivers were funny, pleasant and very helpful.
• It was a little further than I thought from the airport. Usually when it says near the airport it is closer to MOA.

“It was clean and convenient. Staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Shuttle drivers were prompt which lessened our anxiety about getting to the airport on time.”

• You could definitely tell that the hotel was renovated.
