• Best breakfast buffet I have come across. Lots of room.
• If walking, not a lot of dining options in the area.

• Nice and clean.
• The tub is flood when we were taking a bath, but that doesn't cause its overall to be the 2.5 star hotel.

• The front desk staff and hotel shuttle drivers were funny, pleasant and very helpful.
• It was a little further than I thought from the airport. Usually when it says near the airport it is closer to MOA.

“It was clean and convenient. Staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Shuttle drivers were prompt which lessened our anxiety about getting to the airport on time.”

• It was cleaner than what I was expecting.
• You could definitely tell that the hotel was renovated.

• The lobby and room were very nice and clean.
• At check-in the employee checking us in was not very friendly or helpful.

“I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was very clean and well kept. The breakfast they offered was great, a lot of options. It was also in a great location. Not a lot of traffic noise to deal with.”

• Belgian waffles for breakfast!
• Breakfast time ended too soon.

“This hotel was very pleasing to the eye and the wallet. I loved the breakfast, great variety, especially the Belgian waffles. A friend suggested this hotel and I would definitely do the same.”

• Nice sized suite was a plus! Family friendly. Nice staff.
• The hot tub was a bit cold!

“The hotel was recently remodeled. The suite was roomy, clean, and nicely appointed bedding. The staff was responsive. Our family had a nice stay. The location was close driving distance to the Mall of America, the Minnesota Zoo, many restaurants. We enjoyed the pool area and the continental breakfast bar with hot waffles.”

• Staff was good about correcting any problems I encountered.
• Staff mistake on call requesting a non-smoking room, and the sink backed up.

“Called immediately requesting a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. The staff did correct the issue. Also had the sink back up but staff was again great and provided me with a free night on my next visit.”

“This hotel was a good deal for the 6 hours I spend sleeping there. Very clean, very comfortable beds. The lock on my door was broken and they charge $10 a day for parking if you take their airport shuttle.”

• It was very clean and in a great location, we felt very safe there.
• The staff at the front desk was not the friendliest.

“The hotel was very clean and we would stay there again. The only complaint would be the front desk clerk; I can not say all clerks, because some were friendly, but there were a couple of them who made it feel like you were bothering them. I also have to say that the older gentlemen who drove the shuttle bus was a TERRIBLE driver and VERY RUDE. There shuttle service was NEVER on time and sometimes would leave before the time stated, that would be the only complaint, other than that, we loved the room, beds were awesome and hotel was VERY clean.”

• Shuttle driver for Mall of America pick up was 30 minutes late-and it was cold outside!

• When in second floor room, hotel lights shine in window.

“I thought that the LaQuinta that we stayed at was very nice. If one does decide to stay with them request to stay on the 3rd floor or higher to avoid the outside lights from shining in the window.”

• Bedspread was wrinkled, which made me think it wasn't very clean.

“Good location. Good breakfast (free). Nice for a LaQuinta. I've stayed in other LaQuinta's where the room doors opened to the outside which made me very uneasy. This had at least 15 or 16 stories and was very nice.”

• The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was homey.
• The air conditioner/heater was very noisy and would not stop turning on and off.

• Rooms were nice.
• Pool was, hot tub had no power, sauna wasn't very warm.

“The rooms in this hotel are very nice. Everything is very clean, but the pool area is terrible. The jets in the Jacuzzi were loud and had no power. The pool was cold. The sauna barely got warm enough to make you sweat, which is a good thing because of the metal door knob they installed on the inside.”

“We were not notified of an extra $50 fee for park and fly! The woman at the desk was very unhappy and didn't pay the fee of $50. She was very rude and we worried the whole vacation our car wouldnt be there when we got back! Luckily for her sake it was!”
