“Very clean and wonderful staff, very helpful and loved the warm cookies on arrival and departure. Could have maybe given free coffee to the guests in the lobby, not charge $2.50 per cup.”

• Dining service was slow in the morning for breakfast.

• The beds were very comfortable and had access to a computer.
• There was nearby construction (not their fault) and no mini fridge.

“This hotel is fairly convenient to the city area. The rooms are small but nice with comfortable beds. All the staff was helpful and there is a nice indoor pool area that is more open than usual. I had several meals at the hotel that were more than adequate and room service is very timely.”

• Location was great. Easy access to the whole Metro area.
• The pool and hot tub were a little small when busy.

“We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The staff brought up a playpen right away at our request, our rooms were cleaned everyday and nothing was overlooked. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the location was the best. It was so easy to access the roads we needed to go to Bloomington, St. Paul and even downtown Minneapolis. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, without hesitation.”

“They gave us the room we wanted with quiet location. Beds were incredible. They serve warm chocolate chip cookies that were delicious. We didn't get a chance to try the dining.”

• The hotel staff was very accommodating and always friendly.
• The only thing that was below standard was the black mold in the shower.

“The hotel was convenient to different attractions depending on your priorities. The view of the Minneapolis skyline provided a wonderful site.”

• The staff was wonderful and the room was very clean.
• No free Wi-Fi in the rooms.

“The hotel was very clean with a very friendly and helpful staff. They have a 24 hour "snack" area to buy small items, food and drinks. The pool area was clean and safe for children. The only complaint I have is that they did not have free Wi-Fi in the rooms.”

“We loved this hotel. The staff was most accommodating and wonderful and the hotel was very nice. Would recommend it to others. Only problem was finding it. It is hard to find in good conditions and with road construction it was terrible. Loved the hotel though!”

“Very nice but could use renovation especially in the swimming pool area. The hot tub was very dirty and did not entice us to use a second time. The chocolate chip cookies we received upon arrival were delicious and a big hit with my teenage boys.”

• In a congested area with a lot of road construction nearby.

“The bed was just like my own, the room lovely, the staff terrific and the location was no where near the bridge that was out. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Great nights sleep and a TV that had a sleep timer that really worked.”

• The room was not cleaned until 4:30 PM and they took the dirty towels but did not replace them.

“Overall this was a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. The room was clean when we arrived but the maid service while we were there was not good compared to other places we have stayed.”

• I didn't find the hotel room to be as classy as I expected nor did I find the amenities in the room to be superior.

“I did like the price but would never stay at this hotel again. The room was not of the quality I expected for the type of hotel I was at. The room was very small, the TV was small.”

• The fact I called two days ahead to ensure double beds and was still given a king room when I checked in they did switch it for me after.

• The heater/AC unit started smoking and though they fixed it we smelled like smoke.

“My wife and I stayed here in Minneapolis to visit IKEA. The room, staff and public areas were all fine. There was nothing exceptional but nothing that did not meet our expectations. I'd stay here again and recommend it.”

• The room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate!
• Had a nice pool/whirlpool area, but is in need of some repairs.

• Restaurant was very pricey. Lots of road construction going on around this hotel, expect supply delays coming and going.

• The bedding is very comfortable.
• We hated the Wolfgang Puck coffee maker in our room.

“We stayed two nights and our stay was pleasant, we had a lovely meal in the Dover restaurant, used the exercise facility and the hot tub and pool. We like the location since it's close to family. We were very happy except for the inconvenience of the coffee maker and drinking coffee from Styrofoam cups.”

• Small TV, entrance need updating.

“The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very congenial. I always had the feeling I was in a narrow area. However, the swimming area was spacious and had different areas for different activities. Would be super for a family outgoing. I'd go back.”
