• Nice room.
• Trash left in trash can in eating area.

“It was a little difficult getting to the hotel due to construction in the area. Lobby very nice,well lite and front desk personnel friendly but not dressed appropreitly. Room was comfortable but trash left in trash can under eating table.”

“This hotel is very nice. I liked the size of the room. The breakfast was nice. The swimming pool and hot tub are small, but are family had that to ourselves. The staff was very friendly. They aren't very many restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is convenient to downtown Minneapolis.”

• The hotel staff provided us with written directions to everyplace we needed to go, very cool.
• The pool water had way too much chlorine, you couldn't go swimming.

• Indoor pool nice, but way too small.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. Even though the indoor pool was small, we were told my staff that we could also use the outdoor pool next door which was owned by same company - very nice!”

• I appreciated the smoke free environment!
• The whirlpool tub was dirty - lots of sand sitting in it.

“The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Our overall stay was quite nice, except that the whirlpool facilities were in need of cleaning. The morning's hot breakfast was wonderful - a great way to start the day!”

• The free breakfast was great and they accommodated my need for very early check-in.
• You could hear people above you a little, but not too bad.

“It was a quiet, friendly atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast had everything anyone could want - even had good coffee. Also, the manager accommodated my request for a very early check-in for medical reasons. I really appreciated this.”

• Front desk man who checked us in.
• Cleaning staff angry and yelling for an hour while I was trying to take a nap.

“Arrogant, loud cleaning staff. They are not the kind of people I care to have in my room at all.”

• The location was great!
• The shower had a small amount of mold and the toilet could have been cleaner.

“The lobby and pool area looked very nice. The staff was very friendly, but not as helpful as they could have been. We reserved the room for 5 people. There were only 4 sets of towels and 2 coffee cups in the room. We called Sunday morning to have more towels and coffee cups brought up and were told that the staff didn't arrive until 9:30am.”

• We had a great stay. Would recommend this hotel as it exceeded our expectations. Nice to be able to set a thermostat. Breakfast was also great.
• Only complaint we have were the pillows.

“We enjoyed our stay. It was close to the target center where we were going. The room was clean and the staff was friendly in giving us directions. The thermostat was nice instead of just hot/cold settings. The room was clean and the breakfast bar was great with even hot items to choose from. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it.”

• The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows, and the continental breakfast was bountiful.
• The blankets were not very heavy considering the Minnesota cold.

“The room had several mirrors and sinks, which suited us on our girls weekend. There wasn't a lot of space around the beds, but the sitting area with a second television more than made up for it. Our only negative was that the extra blanket in the closet was dirty, but they sent up a new fresh blanket immediately. Overall the stay was clean and comfortable.”

• The location was great because we were there to use the twin cities bicycle trails and traveled 53 miles that day (on bikes)!
• The continental breakfast was great but the space was very crowded.

“The rooms were very nice and the amenities were great (pool, hot tub, breakfast.) There were many restaurants in the area and it is an easy place to find.”

• The room had a microwave and refry - very convenient for a long stay - plus a separate sitting area.
• I was not able to add an additional night at the same rate (the new rate would have been more than double).

• A/C leaked. Staff solution was to lay down towels.

“I was very disappointed that the staff did not attempt to fix the leaking AC unit. They just sent housekeeping up with a bunch of towels to soak up the water.”

• It was close to expressway and easy to get to. It had a homey atmosphere.
• The room could have been more comfortable be being 1-2 feet wider.

• The entire hotel was extremely clean and attractive.
• The breakfast room was very crowded.

“This hotel was excellent, and I will definitely stay there again next time I am in the area. As an owner of a janitorial company, I am very picky about cleanliness, but this hotel was great! The room we had was spacious and gorgeous, and the price was unbeatable. The breakfast was also very good, but the room was a little crowded, but there were a lot of people there for a soccer tournament that weekend, so it was probably busier than usual. All in all, I was very impressed!”

• Good bed, nice breakfast. The room was smaller than most, but it had more (like a couch for watching TV) and I would choose it over a bigger room.
• The closet was a little awkward to get into.

“I have never stayed in this chain, but will look for it in future trips I take. I will use this hotel just about any time I need to stay in the twin cities. It made me wish I had more time to take advantage of the entire hotel offered. The address is not 5900 Wayzata blvd., though; it's 5901 Wayzata blvd. It makes a difference which direction you turn when you get off the interstate.”

• Had everything I needed. Good bed, small fridge, microwave, semi separate sitting area, good sized bathroom, free Internet, good breakfast.
• Room was a bit cramped.

“Great value for price, good service, great bed, good breakfast, pool, spa, exercise room. Everything much more expensive places have without extra cost. View on the highway side was not much, but great soundproofing, meant I did not hear a bit of traffic.”

• The size of the rooms was nice. We liked that there was a separate living area.
• The pool and whirlpool area was a little small.

“Although we only stayed for one night, the room was very nice. Would be good for business travelers or someone staying for more than a couple of days. Location was easy to find and staff was very helpful with directions to other destinations. Hotel was very clean.”

• Not much space to walk, do not need 2 TV's.

• The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered an excellent expended continental breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.
• Getting to it from the interstate highway was a bit tricky.

• Our room didn't have a bathtub - difficult for bathing small children.

The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and offered several hours for varying schedules. The continental breakfast was fantastic! We had no trouble finding the hotel, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Springhill suites again!”

• Easy access to highways. Clean rooms.
• Raucous crowd in pool and not in anyway monitored.

“Fine, standard-grade chain hotel. Nothing special or unique but no unpleasant surprises. The "suite" rooms are not really suites--this is very unclear in the promo material. I travel with my two small children and like a separate room so I don't have to go to sleep when they do. This was a divided room with a half wall but no door and not completely separate.”

• Tons of kids in the pool couldn't really use it.
