• The size of the room. The sofa bed, the large screen TV.
• Probably the least thing was the location because of the things I had going on.

“I was there with 2 small grandchildren and 2 daughters. The staff was great to the little girls. They had a great space to play. The pool was great. We all really enjoyed our time there. It was clean and comfortable. Great place.”

• Great welcome from the staff and a spotless room decor.
• Always thought the elevators in this hotel were painfully slow.

“This is a former Ameri-Suites franchise hotel. We have stayed there many times before the Hyatt bought the franchise. How nice to find an old friend with a fresh look, great staff, and great price. The rooms are fantastic, the TV's great, and the bed was very comfortable. Great experience.”

“Possibly the nicest room Ive ever stayed in other than at a resort hotel. Great value and great people. I'll be writing a letter to Hyatt telling them that this general manager has the best hiring skills Ive seen. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.”

• Wonderful, nutritious, fresh continental breakfast!
• Ice maker next to our room sounded like hail much of night.

• The Hyatt was perfect for business as I had free wireless, free breakfast and a nice lobby to meet in.
• Coffee in room was not great.

• It is upgraded and modern.
• The food was pre-prepared and seemed to be microwave hot.

“This is a remodeled AmeriSuites hotel with flat screen TV's and very contemporary/modern design. The design is great and most the staff are very friendly. The food is marginal. Most everything seems to have been frozen and then micro waved and service was very slow. The pool is a little chilly and there is no hot tub.”

• First room had serious issues with cleanliness, but it was easy to get another one.

• Great amenities, spacious well appointed rooms, tasteful decor and welcoming, friendly staff.
• The closet was very awkwardly placed and hard to access, and there was no hot tub.

“It was family friendly, but also clearly had the business traveler in mind when designing and appointing the rooms. The only thing missing was a hot tub to relax in while the kids enjoyed the pool. The property is also pretty centrally located, just a few minutes from several area points of interest.”

• I have no complaints, but did not use any out-of-room facilities.

“Hyatt Place in Eden Prairie has very nice rooms with a 42" flat panel TV that swivels to face either the sleeping area or the lounging area. Didn't use the pool or exercise room, but got a good night's sleep.”

• Nice rooms, comfortable beds.
• No microwaves anywhere in the hotel, didn't even have a phone book in the rooms.

“They only offer complimentary coffee for 2 hours in the morning which was horrible. They claim to have a restaurant - it's more like a snack bar (very expensive) where they'll microwave your snack since they don't make microwaves available to guests.”

• Needs more food selection in the restaurant.

“I would definitely recommend someone who wants to feel high class for a good price to pick the Hyatt Palace. I love the fact that you had so many accommodations for the stay for the guests to have access too. I plan on going back to Eden Prairie real soon, and bringing my family to stay at the hotel once again.”

“We were very pleased with our room - the decor was wonderful, and we were surprised to see a huge flat screen TV. that swiveled to face either the very comfy sectional or the bedroom area. My sister loved the exercise equipment. The staff members were all extremely nice.”

• No cash machine and they wouldn't cash a check.

• Room was well-decorated with a very large, nice plasma TV.
• The beds were not amazing, but were just ok.

“Amerisuites Eden prairie is conveniently located just off 494 and is tastefully decorated, well maintained, located near major shopping areas, and they spent a lot of money on the huge plasma TV in our room. This entertainment center included many a hookups for business travelers who want to see their laptop on a big screen (if you have hemi out on your laptop), or for a family with a portable DVD player who may want to watch a movie. The room was very spacious and included a mini-fridge and a large sofa which looked nice, but was not comfortable. This hotel room would have been good for a large party, but I didn't ask if they allowed kegs or not.”

• Continental breakfast was not up to its usual standard.

“Motel is in the process of renovating. The rooms we had were renovated and very nice. The majority of the hotel staff were friendly, but a couple of the staff didn't even acknowledge you if you walked past them. The breakfast bar was not a good it usually is, but that could be because of the work that was about to begin on Monday to the renovating of that area of the hotel. This is our second stay there and we will probably stay there again.”

• Size of the rooms nice and large.
• Thin sheets, bedding did not stay on bed, uncomfortable bed, bad hide-a-bed mattress.

“The beds were made with thin holy sheets. Small mattress pads in the center of the bed. and the beds did not stay made The bottom sheets slid all over on the mattress. Beds are very important on our stay. The hide-a-bed was not made nor was there sheets in the room. Sheets were delivered. The mattress on that hide-a-bed had springs hanging out. Had motel call a cab and it came with no air conditioning. Had windows down for 30 miles. Would not give us a ride to airport for a rental car.”

• The room seemed to be clean but the plastic stays from new shirts, were found on chair set up next to a table.

“This is a nice room for a couple traveling together, has microwave to reheat dinner and a refrigerator to store your doggy bag. I would have liked this type of room when I was on the road, internet in room, a desk with enough room to stretch. I didn't use the pool or exercise room but they looked clean.”
