“The outdoor walking spaces to the blocks of rooms (like an apartment complex) is nice in the spring, summer and fall - in MN not the best idea for winter.”

• Rooms had kitchens.
• The lobby for breakfast was not attached to rooms.

“The hotel was nice but I did not enjoy going outside in Minnesota winters to the breakfast buffet. They need better ventilation as the people above us must have started a fire in the fireplace and we could smell it in our room.”

“Needs to have an iron and ironing board in the room. I am sure I could have called the front desk, but I was in a hurry to get back out for a meeting after arriving in my room. With the snow and ice on the ground, I knew it would be awhile, so I went with a wrinkled shirt.”

• Apartment style room with kitchenette, was family friendly.
• The couch was really beat up with holes.

“Very conveniently located hotel with comfortable rooms. They need to improve some of the furniture but they have a nice compact outdoor pool area for families. A picnic area and grills make this a nice place to stay in the summer while visiting Minneapolis attractions.”

• My daughter was disappointed the pool was outside.

• Hotel staff is great.
• Pool is outdoor so you have to go to their sister hotel to swim.

“The staff here is great. Everyone's in a great mood, the free breakfast is fresh and has variety. During the week they offer some dinners or snack nights. In the winter there's not much to do, but in the summer they have a pool and sport court. Overall the best value in the area!”

“It was like a home away from home. We liked our room so much we were almost tempted just to stay in it our whole stay. The room was clean, and had just about anything you could need. The staff was friendly and helpful. A three star hotel, but a five star stay!”

• This Residence Inn was very clean and comfortable.
• There was no wood for the fireplace.

• Access off of freeway was confusing.

“This was a very pleasant hotel to stay at. Grounds were nice and lobby/breakfast area was very nice. Enjoyed the breakfast there. Only negative was the access off the freeway was kind of confusing in the dark, but we enjoyed our stay there.”

• Very nice spacious, clean accommodation.
• A bit difficult to find in the dark, small signage.

“We enjoyed our stay, would love to have this place if staying for a few days, nice kitchen and living room. The complimentary hot breakfast was tasty, although the room a bit crowded when we were there. A nice selection of items, though. I can see a family with small children or business travelers would really appreciate it.”

• The suite has ample space for longer stays.
• Poor sound insulation around door.

“This would be a great place to stay for extended amounts of time for business or families. The amount of space in the suite is wonderful. There is a generous kitchen and sitting area and generous vanity space off the bath as well. I was only there over night, so I didn't even check to see if there was a pool or other amenities, but based on my experience I would stay at the residence inn again. The kitchen space was nicely appointed and the bed linens had a modern look. Breakfast was served in the gate house and included eggs and bacon.”

• Full kitchen was awesome! Excellent continental breakfast! Eggs, Sausage, Pancakes, Waffles.
• The location and sign age made it difficult to find if not familiar with the area. Got lost 3 times.

“Wonderful place. I would stay at a Residence Inn again. Great for traveling as a family with kids. Full kitchen allow for groceries & meals whenever wanted. Nice & quiet. Bed & pillows were very comfortable.”

• Located in a convoluted (streets) suburban area.

“As usual Marriott does a super job. The room was a suite with kitchen. The usual blinds did not really make the room dark because of the outside lights on all night - so I had to use my night blackout eye patch and ear plugs as this place is not quite as soundproof as would be optimal.”

“We had two separate nights and we had trouble with the front desk staff keeping us in the same room and deactivating our keys. Generally they were not very accommoadating. The breakfast was excellent and the room was large and clean with very nice towels.”

“During our stay at the Eden prairie residence inn the weather was extremely cold (-12). Ground floor rooms were freezing. My wife and I ended up putting our child in bed with us. I'll avoid this hotel in the future, especially when the weather is cold.”

• The size and comfort of the room was great. Easy access to highways, shopping, and entertainment venues.
• The only thing that was missing was an onsite restaurant/lounge.

• The room was so well furnished.
• The staff was not helpful at all.

“The hotel is so conveniently located to many attractions. The room is extremely well furnished for long term stays, but also has extra touches to make everyone feel special. All of the staff we dealt with did not want to be bothered by customers which tainted our total experience.”

“This hotel is very nice for the star level. The price we got was great. The real fireplace was very romantic and warming. We were able to drive directly up to our patio door for easy access. The suite provided everything and was set up very well.”

“This is our second stay in this hotel and we think it is the best deal we have ever gotten. While it isn't fancy, the rooms are very large and even have fireplaces. There is a free breakfast and free evening snacks during the week. What more can you ask?”

• One entrance door was not working to our building.

“This hotel offered a great location and a very quiet and private room. The studio was well equipped and well furnished. Clean, good furnace, and staff was able to get us in right away so we could be ready for our event. I would certainly recommend to someone who needed a place for several days and prefers to eat in and/or cook for themselves. Breakfast served in the lobby was generous and good variety.”
