• Close to some shopping.
• Pay for coffee in lobby, no treadmill or no shampoo in rooms.

“It took us 30-40 minutes for us to find this motel on a late Friday night--so right there we were not satisfied. We arrived at midnight and were very tired coming from the north.”

• The price and kitchenette. Despite lack of cleanliness - it was nice.
• Cleanliness. Need to wash walls, floors and backsplash better.

“Good sized room, barely a 2 star hotel with the strange odor in the hallways and in the room. Just be prepared to want to wash things before using the kitchenette. Walls could definitely use a good scrubbing as well.”

• Spacious room.
• The bed and pillows were less than comfortable and the window on our first floor room didn't lock properly.

“Overall this was a nice hotel. I was afraid of the two stars attached to it since I usually stay in a 2 1/2 or 3 star hotels. The advice I have for anyone else staying here is to make sure you have the phone number handy because we arrived late (11pm or so) and the front desk was closed and the door locked. Thank goodness we had the phone number because as soon as we called an on-call type of person came to let us in and check us in. Not a bad place, clearly for business travelers since it is an extended stay hotel. There was no pool and no room service, but we didn't have time to use either if they had been available, so we were happy.”

“Regardless of the price of a hotel, I want one with a comfortable bed and a quiet heating/air conditioning system. This hotel had neither one. The room was clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful.”

• The sheets were thin and cheap, blanket didn't cover the bed, Hotel in Disrepair.

“I stayed here once 2 years ago and it was much better. The sheets were normal, the blankets of good quality and the comforters as I recall were lined. The hotel this trip was the opposite. They removed the convenience store, charge $4.99 for internet, an additional $5.00 for daily maid service, the bathroom had blood stains on the wall, and the toilet was broken. The staff was nice and tried to accommodate the best they could but there was always just one person so when the coffee bag in the new room turned out to be empty, they couldn't send a new one up. There's also no food here, the heater/air didn't work properly and the room was either 85 degrees or 40. Yes, 40 (it was -2 degrees that weekend). With the thinnest sheets I have ever encountered, a blanket you could see through that on a queen bed was a twin sized blanket, the pillows very uncomfortable. I've stayed in Motel 6's through the years several times; this was a level far below that.”

• Room layout and cleanliness were tops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
• A sewer odor in and around the elevator was present throughout the stay. Upon checkout I reported it to the counterperson who said she would address.

• The flexibility of the staff. They allowed me to stay extra hours for free.
• No free breakfast.

“If you are looking for an economic hotel choice that is neat, clean, with kitchen amenities, this is the place. It is very close to the highway and area shopping. The staff was cordial and I would definitely stay there again for the price I got! Wish there could have been a continental breakfast though, but I had breakfast plans anyway.”

“Although a bit further from the area than I was hoping, the hotel had a good location, close to restaurants and grocery stores as well as a major highway. The service was quite friendly. The room was more than adequate and my stay was quite enjoyable. I will attempt to book this hotel again if I need such lodging in the area.”

• Confusing directions. No ice machine and pool.

“It was a nice place, and easy to see from the freeway, but we got seriously lost trying to get to it. I called ahead and informed the staff that I was accompanied by my wife and 2 children. They forgot to allocate at 2 double bed room for us and eventually gave us 2 single rooms for the same price. The process was inconvenient, but we all enjoyed having two rooms for one family.”

• It was clean, well kept; quiet, easy to find, and good location.
• Like every hotel we've stayed at only one easy chair and cleaners do not look under crevices in tub for mold.

“We were in town for family obligations and were at the hotel just to sleep. It was nice and quiet with room to move around in the room. It was short distance to eating and shopping.”

• Staff had promised non-smoking room but only smoking available. Staff was argumentative and challenged me when I mentioned this.

“Clean and secure hotel with kitchenette in every room. Simple soap provided, and no other toiletries. Be sure to get staff name if they promise a non-smoking room.”

• I liked that the rooms had kitchenettes.
• Refrigerator leaked water and the general maintenance of the property was lacking. Room was left unlock one day by the cleaning staff.

“The hotel just didn't seem to be well maintained. It was adequate for our stay, but in the future I would stay away from this hotel chain.”

“I did not have great expectations for this modest 2-star hotel. The kitchenette offered a lot of convenience, the room was basically clean, but not 100%. Beds were not made daily by staff, and bathroom did not include toothpaste, which is very important with new FAA rules. All in all, it was a pleasant place for the money. Staff was friendly.”

• A bit tattered. A couple things needed repair

“Good location and a good price. One room needed some repairs. A seam in the upholstery of a chair had let go. It looked like it had been that way a while. There was a small bit of garbage in the can from the previous guest. Neither was an issue, but those are things they should take care of. Of the things that are important to me, (shower that doesn't go cold and reasonably quiet) they did fine.”

“This hotel is just off Highway 494, and therefore very convenient. It is also close to the Eden Prairie shopping area, shops, restaurants. The front office staff was very friendly, bringing us requested items pronto. Room provided good serviceable stay, basic kitchen.”

• The kitchen in the room was a good feature.
• Beds were awful, the room was not clean, the internet was slow.

“The location is fine for those doing long term business in Eden Prairie. It is relatively hard to find if one does not know the area. Our room smelled of mildew, the hallways smelled of whatever was being cooked in their rooms, there was a mildew smell from the air conditioning, and the beds were awful. We had problems with the toilet, and being that is was a Saturday, they gave us extra towels, and told us that they didn't have anyone to fix it until Monday. Basically, I thought we got what we paid for. I didn't complain to the staff because of the price we paid. It wasn't worth more than the price that was accepted.”

• Cockroaches in microwave, Air conditioner would not stay on.

“Room was nice staff left something to be desired. air did not work correctly, I reported it, said it would be fixed, 3 days it wasn't. Saw a cockroach in the Microwave motor part. reported it, she said wish would have told us right away, I said, only an hour ago. took my name and address, what for I do not know. Next time I will try to avoid Extended stays, now two bad experiences.”
