“The hotel was cheap, and so going in, I didn't have high expectations. All I cared about was clean rooms, clean sheets, and clean bathrooms with a hot shower. It had all of those. The continental breakfast was pretty bad but I don't really eat breakfast, so I didn't care. The major thing that I didn't like was that it was located at the opposite end of town from the places I was going. I also realized there are lots of other places to stay in Eureka Springs that aren't you're typical chain hotel that are just as cheap as the 42 we paid, so I would check some of those out before staying at the HoJo again.” Sep 25, 2007 by
Sandy from Fremont, NE
“Found our rooms to be very clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked directions.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Ken from Minnetonka, MN
“I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The owner went out of his way to help when I locked the keys in my rental car. The price is very competitive for this area. The continental breakfast is very basic, but that's not a big thing for me.” Sep 8, 2007 by
Angela from Sulphur, LA
“We had been to several hotels during out 8 days of vacation and this was our last stop on the way home. Of all the hotels, including a resort, this was by far the most comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean. Place looked brand new. Pool was really nice too, especially the whirlpool. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect ending to our vacation.” Jul 8, 2007 by
Craig from Moore, OK
“This motel provided more comfort and better service than we expected. The room was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We heard no road noises. The pool was well maintained and enjoyable. The innkeeper and his wife were delightful and met our every need. When we had a question about the area they were glad to help and even provided coupons. I will not hesitate to recommend this place to my friends and family and in fact we hope to return in October to enjoy the fall splendor of the Ozarks.” Jun 19, 2007 by
Karen from Covington, TN
“I have stayed at this hotel before and would do so time and time again. The people are very nice and helpful. Anytime I asked a question they found out the answer, even if it were just simple directions as to which direction I needed to go. My stay has always been wonderful.” May 29, 2007 by
Dennis from Hot Springs Vlg, AR
“Disappointing overall. Courteous staff, limited breakfast & breakfast time. ” May 23, 2007 by
Grace from Lawrence, MS
“There was a funny smell when we first entered the room which made me feel worried about the cleanliness of the room, but upon examination, it appeared to be very clean. The man at the desk in the evening and the young woman in the morning, were both very nice. It was very close to the attraction that we went there to see.” May 23, 2007 by
Ken from Union, MO

“The hotel was clean there were some noisy guests but that can happen anywhere. Everything was good I would stay there again.” Oct 21, 2006 by
Patsy from Athens, TX
“It was satisfactory.” Sep 30, 2006 by

“A great economical place to stay. Far enough from downtown to be quiet, but only five minutes away from the historic downtown. Right by the Passion Play.” Sep 19, 2006 by
Sarah from Alma, AR
“The rooms were nice. It was nothing exciting, but it was a place to stay at the end of the day. It was out of the way if you came for the shopping, but it was closer to the shows if that was what you came for. The breakfast was very lousy even for a continental breakfast.” Sep 13, 2006 by
Wanda from Hot Springs, AR
“Smokers congregated at tables on upper level to smoke and non-smokers could not use these areas. You also had to walk through the smoke to get to the stairs. Might consider adding items to their continental breakfast bar. We would stay here again.” Jul 10, 2006 by
Arleen from Lake Dallas, TX
“I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next travels. Everything was perfect. no complaints whatsoever. I would strongly suggest this hotel to anyone traveling in the area, bar none!” Jul 5, 2006 by
Tammie from Pekin, IL
“ I would not stay again. There were much cheaper hotels closer to events with hot breakfasts and nicer quarters. Staff friendly but did not speak much English. They were helpful though. The breakfast consists of coffee, molded bread for toast, old cereal, old bagels and English muffins. It was serve yourself out of a dorm-sized fridge. It barely fit as a "continental" breakfast. Everything was very clean. Pool was clean, but the hot tub was NOT even warm. We stayed 3 nights because we could not get our money back. I definitely would have stayed other places in Eureka Springs. This was not at all worth the price we paid.” Jun 7, 2006 by
Marti from Springfield, MO
“Nice place and seemed to be a fairly new hotel. Very quiet in the rooms and a very friendly staff but, they needed more help to clean and prepare the rooms.” May 3, 2006 by
Laz from Lincoln, NE

“Though it not romantic in itself the, Eureka Springs is and will get you no matter where you are staying! I would stay at the Howard Johnson's again. I will be visiting Eureka Springs, if only in my mind, for the rest of my life!!!” Aug 8, 2005 by
Tonda from Brandon, MS “The hotel was nice the people were nice but after 10 hours of driving it would have been better if the hot tub was hot and the jets were working” Jul 27, 2005 by
Marianne from Springfield, IL “I am very upset. We stayed three nights. When I arrived home there was a phone message from the motel about a missing blanket. I called them and was accused of taking a blanket from the room, which I did NOT do. I asked my son if he remembered if there had been a blanket on his bed all three nights or just a sheet and bedspread. (I remembered a blanket on my bed, but didn't notice his) He thought the final night there was no blanket, but because it reached 100 degrees outside thought nothing of it. I was called two days later at work and asked if I had found out anything about the blanket. When I told her what my son had said, she said I was a liar because if that were true I'd have reported it while we were there. She wanted me to return their blanket. I told her I could not return somthing I did not have. ” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jul 20, 2005 by
