• I had to enter room from outside in a relatively dark area. Bar was not good. Mirrors were dirty.

• The room was comfortable for the price and the staff was excellent.
• Water wasn't hot and the bathtub did not drain properly.

“The staff is attentive and the rooms are clean. I would recommend it if it is mainly being used to simply sleep/short stay.”

• Hot tub when jets turned on chemicals put out a smell that had me coughing for hours.

“The hotel and staff was rather friendly. The hot tub made me sick from the chemicals I believe when the jets were turned on. The sauna was cold when I went in and it took a while for it to get hot. I only used it once during my trip because of this problem, the same with the hot tub. Other than the two problems it was a fairly good hotel.”

• Staff was friendly and provided the type of room I requested.
• Did not have an ice machine on second floor, only on first.

“The hotel was easy to find. The room was very clean and was furnished nicely. Very please with the price, location, and condition of room.”

• The pool was nice/bar was nice/cleaning staff very nice.
• Not the rooms we wanted and keys didn't work two different nights.

“We came for a wedding of our sons and we were not put with the wedding party after I booked it to be with them and on Friday night went to go into room keys won't work in our kids room. The next night ours would not work and no we did not have them by cell phones front lobby was not very nice about it either. I would not recommend the hotel to anybody when we come again we will not stay at a Holladay inn again!”

• The registration foyer and dinning area were beautiful.
• The room I stayed in was nothing special.

“The front foyer is beautiful but the rooms were kind of shabby. Beds were hard and most of the electrical outlets did not work. After checking in, the rooms were nothing like the decor of the front desk and dinning area.”

• Convenient location. Nice linens, towels, etc.
• Air conditioner was noisy and did not remove humidity from room, did not like door to outside people outside smoking until late. Smoky smell.

“Typical old style holiday inn. Room had smoke smell even though a no smoking room. I liked that it had a refrigerator and microwave. Beds and linens were nice. With outside doors, people were outside talking and smoking until late hours and did not feel really safe. Reception area and staff were good. Did not eat there.”

• Nice pool and outside patio near lounge.
• The old air conditioner unit under the window was too noisy for a good night sleep.

• I thought they gave me a room to fit my inconvenience to walking it was great to be on the first floor.
• Wish it were closer to my son¿s house but I could not get into your new hotel.

“When I called to see if I could change the reservations to one of your newest holiday inns the person I talked to was a little rude and her answer was you are already booked and paid for. I know it was a busy time but I needed to get closer to my sons home and she did not even attempt to try to get me into the hotel just opened down the street from him. Was willing to pay the same fee. I called from Cleveland she could have proved more understanding and not rough on the phone. I only asked her a question.”

• Provided free shuttle service.
• It was under construction (remodeling) during our visit which caused minor inconveniences.

“Very nice for what we were needing, since we were only staying one night. Convenient to the local sites we were interested in visiting.”

• Easy access on and off the freeway, convenient to downtown.

• The hotel does offer a hot breakfast for its guests. The area seemed to be a nice area, and there wasn't a lot of noise during the night.
• The restaurant served great food, but the servers were not very attentive.

“Overall, Holiday Inn Bossier City was a pleasant hotel to stay in. Housekeeping made sure we had clean towels and our beds were made. The room was clean when we arrived, also.”
