“Hotel manager is completely unprofessional. We were charged $550 for breaking the television. Funniest part is that we didn't do it. As soon as we discovered that it was broken we contacted the front desk to inform them. Credit card was charged several days later.” Mar 20, 2008 by

“We enjoyed what little time we spent in the hotel. The front desk receptionist was not very friendly at check in and that was the only staff we encountered while there. If you definitely want a non-smoking room, you should check out some of the all non-smoking hotels in the area.” Feb 27, 2008 by

“After the 4 hour drive from Baton Rouge to Shreveport, we arrived at the hotel at 4:45p and within 15 minutes of check in we found that the phone did not work. While trouble shooting with the phone I checked to make sure that it was plugged in and followed the cord to the wall. When we arrived from the concert we called down to the manager to ask for extra pillows since there were only two very flat pillows on each bed. The manager was VERY rude when he told us that he didn't have any extra pillows. At that time we asked for the general manager's contact information. He told us to call the hotel number, never offered us the phone number. When we asked when the GM would be in he said that he didn't know his schedule. The next morning we spoke to the next manager on duty and she gave us the business card for the GM and told us that he was in the office M-F 11a-7p.” Feb 14, 2008 by

“This is decent for the price. The decor is outdated but seemed clean. The elevator is very slow so consider the stairs. We ended up getting checked into a room heat was occupied. Luckily no one was in the room when we walked in. The front desk was nice to us but I did overhear that someone earlier that day did not pay attention and let someone stay an extra night. Since the hotel was cooked to capacity the hotel had to call Holiday Inn down the road to accommodate a guest later in the evening.” May 17, 2006 by

“Excluding the ice bucket problem, it was really nice.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.May 16, 2006 by

“Older hotel, generally nice, good bed. TV kept shutting off when you tried to turn it on. Sound wouldn't work with remote. Water was cut off Sat. morn. without notice. Hotel said city said was water main break. Still wasn't on at 11am when checked out. No shower or anything and hotel only gave $20.00 discount on room.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 18, 2006 by

“The Chateaus was really amazing. I stayed with four other guests and we had plenty of space. The suites have kitchenettes as well as a separate sitting room. The hotel staff was really helpful. Our stay included breakfast and complimentary drinks at the bar. If you are looking for a hotel close to the Red River nightlife, this is the one. It is both affordable and conveniently situated within short enough distance to walk comfortably.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
