• Accepted pets with no additional fees.

“Staff was friendly & efficient. Accepted dogs and put us on first floor to make easier at getting dogs outside to go pottie. Rooms were clean & size was adequate. Will stay again!”

• I liked the location, the stairs leading up to our room we're pretty private and we didn't have to see too many other people, the hot tub was good.
• The bathroom was small and smelled like body odor.

“Overall it was a good place to stay for the price, nothing fancy or special about it. The bathroom smelled like body odor to the point I didn't even want to take a shower (and didn't). I think it needed a new shower curtain. If you were staying with a friend or children I think the size of the bathroom would be a problem, you could hardly turn around in it. The bed was comfortable, but needed more pillows for a king size bed. The movie selection was good. We did hear some hallway noise, but nothing that kept us up at night. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing there was even a spot you could go outside and sunbath. I might stay there again, but I will check the shower curtain right away and complain if it smells again!”

• There was plenty of extra space in the room.
• The bed was too soft -- I did not sleep well at all.

“La Quinta was a great getaway. It had a nice pool, hot tub, and sun decks, as well as a well-stocked free breakfast. The exercise equipment was nice but sparse; however, they offer free tickets to a nearby fitness facility. We effortlessly used the wireless Internet in our room. There were not too many channels on TV but the room was large. The bed was too soft and I did not sleep well because my back hurt. My pregnant wife slept fine but her back hurt a little, too. Everything was very clean and the shower had plenty of hot water.”

• La Quinta staff was very rude.

“I was not pleased with my stay at La Quinta. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff could not find our room. Soon we were informed that "oops" she let some other guests stay in our room. She called her manager and repeatedly told him that she had let other guests stay in our room. After a long time, they decided to stick us in an old stinky room (which I believe they did not use regularly, only in a pinch). I had requested that we have two double beds as we were traveling with our children. This was a king sized room. I was not happy. Then she became very rude and told me that I get what is left. Do I want to call someone to complain about it, she said. I felt like I had no options as it was late and I had already paid for my room. I believe that paying in advance was a big mistake and definitely not a savings. ”

• Staff was ever friendly even though I initially had a problem signing on to the wireless internet.
• The heater cover rattled every time the heat came on.

• The continental breakfast was convenient and there was a wide variety of food to choose from.
• The pillows were pretty lumpy.

“Overall I had a great stay at la Quinta, starting when I walked in the door. The woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. I was also impressed with the size of the pool and hot tub.”

• Easy access on and off interstate.
• Movies were to high priced, not much selection for television.

• They called to see if everything was okay with our room and if there was anything we needed.
• The continental breakfast was over at 10.

“This was my first time to stay at a Baymont and I have to say that it was a very pleasurable stay. The elevator was slow though and there could have been a little more parking.”

“Well-located, reasonably priced hotel with no frills but not as grim as a Motel 6, either. Free breakfast in the morning is nice. Pretty well maintained. Secured area. No safety concerns.”

• Being a non smoker I appreciated having a room that did not smell like smoke. I have been in hotels where even their nonsmoking room still reeked.
• I had to change rooms because the shower pressure was very low and there was little hot water.

“Overall I enjoyed staying at the Bayonet. The room was truly a smoke free room and was very clean. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. The Breakfast buffet was good. I really enjoyed having the fresh waffles as opposed to the toaster waffles. I would suggest having a bigger selection of cereals.”

• Nice size room with frig and microwave. Nice large vanity area.
• Breakfast should start at 6 a.m. for the working people--even on a weekend.

“Not close to where we needed to be but a very nice place to stay. The breakfast was very nice but could use more items for diabetics--mostly high crab fare. The room was great! Everything was very clean and it was a very quiet place.”

“Surprisingly well located and appointed. Next to the Cracker Barrell, so there was a good evening meal waiting. Friendly staff. I was so ready for a good night's stay, and they didn't disappoint.”

• It was close to many nice restaurants and major highways.
• The front automatic sliding door was not working when we arrived late and a guest let us in to register.

“First impressions are very important and the gal at the front desk was very kind, neatly put together, and eager to help. Arriving at 10:00 at night, we were tired and not getting any hassle was wonderful. I will stay there again!”

“The only complaint that I have is that the bathroom smelled like mildew. And, the others (Clarion) in this area have small refrigerators. Staff was great.”
