• It was easy to get to off the highway and very nice.
• The only way to get into the hotel was through the front entrance and the parking lot seemed dark.

“Now they have free internet! Welcome to 2008. Hotel nicely redone, good showers, plush towels. Nice pool area, good restaurant with decent prices. Distant from city center, but access to I235 minutes away and Downtown just a 15 minute drive. Close to shopping and other local attractions. Just a great place to stay in the Des Moines area.”

• Extremely friendly staff - wonderfully comfortable beds and fastidious cleanliness. Located right off the interstate for easy access. Marvelous food.
• Like everything.

“I chose this hotel while visiting this city on business. From the moment I was warmly greeted by the staff at the front desk until I checked out two days later, my stay was top-notch. The room was immaculate and as comfortable as I've come to expect from a Marriott. The lobby bar was warm, friendly and elegant. The restaurant decor was lovely and the food couldn't have been better. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“I love the Marriott hotels primarily because of their bedding, the closest to my bed at home. I love down blankets and lots of fluffy pillows. The rooms are always very attractive and welcoming and they have great flat screen TV's. The staff is always very helpful.”

• The wall paper in the bathroom behind the toilet was warped as if damaged by water.

“The room was comfortable, but with few amenities. Internet was slow, and the "business center" was a joke. Conveniently located off I-80 near Jordan Creek mall.”

• The room was fantastic from the beds, to the flat screen TV, it all was great.
• Nothing, it was great.

“This is a fantastic hotel if you are on a business trip. They have a number of very nice meeting rooms and a great bar and restaurant. The room was great. It had a very comfortable bed, free internet and a flat screen TV. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• It was a nice and comfortable room. Next time I'll try a more central location.
• A little far from the downtown area.

“We enjoyed our stay and would likely stay there again if we were on a shopping visit, the hotel is 10 minutes from Jordan Creek mall but 30 minutes from downtown.”

• It was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
• The fact that the TV sound was very loud in the bathroom. We had trouble turning down the volume.

“The hotel was easily accessed from the expressway and was located near a large shopping mall, where there were a number of restaurants. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was a plus.”

“Over all we had a nice stay, We were very happy with the king size bed and TV. My wife loved the bath and body amenities. We have recommended this to all our friends. We will definitely stay there again.”

• Prices in lounge were very high 12.00 for a shot of Patron is the most I have paid anywhere in the US.

• Ok.

“We were there for our anniversary Aug 16,2007 and was wonderful. We had a Jacuzzi suite and received champagne for our anniversary. Staff food and everything was great. Staff is always friendly and polite and hotel is clean. We are planning on returning for our 5th wedding anniversary Aug 16th. We like staying in this part of Des Moines.”

• It was lovely, quiet and perfect for what I needed.

“A great location right off interstate 80 and very close to shopping, restaurants and other activities for both families, romantic getaways and business travelers. I stayed strictly for a personal getaway and it completely fit the bill for what I wanted and needed. I would definitely go back again.”

• We could not stay, and didn't get our money back.

“We were not able to stay at this hotel, due to bad weather. We checked in, and within an hour there was freezing drizzle, and we knew we wouldn't be able to get home the following day. We went up to front desk and asked for our money back and we were told no.”

• The young man from Kosovo at the front desk was superb.
• The Restaurant catered to drinkers and was open to the lobby draft from the front doors.

“The room was excellent. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge because there were three in our party. The front desk staff member was really excellent, friendly and courteous. He was from Europe and it certainly was a big plus. The restaurant however was something else. Dark and obviously catered to late night drinking dinner parties. There was no breakfast restaurant or quite evening restaurant. You will have to eat out if you want good food, Vegetarian or organic for example. This area of the hotel has to move into the 21st century!”

• Big pool, Big flat screen TV, lots of movies to choose from, quality all around! Staff was friendly and helpful.
• Room service forgot dressing for our salads and only gave us one set of silverware but the food was Great.

“Took my husband and 6 yr old son as a Valentines gift. The room was a nice size with a comfy bed, big closet and huge flat screen TV. There were many movies to order and we actually had choices on a family one. Great location near Jordan Creek mall. The pool is nice and big unlike so many hotels now days. Very Nice!”

• The bed was very comfortable, the TV was a nice surprise, and the room was extremely comfortable.
• They didn't have a vending machine for snack food, just a small convenience store with limited selection.

“The hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. The room was relaxing and comfortable with several luxuries like a big screen TV, great channel selection, a digital thermostat, comfortable bedding, and Bath and Body Works products. We will come back someday!”
