“The hotel was excellent. Location was perfect and easy to find. The room was extremely nice and comfy. I loved the do it yourself waffles for breakfast. Overall, I was very pleased.” Aug 23, 2005 by
Alicia from Shreveport, LA
“The hotel has a great location, however the carpet is pulling away from the walls there were carpet stains everywhere, nothing in the hallways had been wiped down, the comforters hadn't been replaced sine the early eights. It took a good two hours for the ac to even begin to cool the room. I was excited to get a hotel and not a motel for this price but I would have been in better company at a super 8.” Aug 22, 2005 by
Tommy from Tupelo, MS
“The room we first were given had sagging mildewed ceilings. The smoke alarm was laying on the end table. They gave us another room which had hair in the bathtub. It was certainly not a two star. In fact I would not give it one.” Aug 19, 2005 by
Thomas from Sherwood, AR
“They were painting on the 4th floor, this motel should not be rated above 1 star.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Jeanie from Joplin, MO
“Well laid out clean rooms, friendly staff, clean attractive pool, good breakfast (particularly liked the make-them-yourself fresh waffles) and fairly easy access with traffic light to the hotel lots, and the coffee to make in your room was Folger's brand, not some off-brand.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Annette from Cordova, TN
“I was very dipleased with the room and the service at this Hotels. I enjoy my stay at the La Quinta the staff was great the rooms was very nice my stay there was great my hat off to the La Quinta.” Aug 5, 2005 by
Walter from Livonia, MI
“The place is under construction and there was lots of noise and quite dirty in places. Would not have chosen the place on my own.” Aug 3, 2005 by
Jeffie from Stilwell, OK
“This hotel is receiving a remodel which, hopefully will be nice when it is completed, but in my opinion they should not be trying to have guests and remodel at the same time. it is a mess, and I feel that the staff is a little weary and unfriendly because they are so "torn up". The location is convenient.” Jul 27, 2005 by
Debra from Tulsa, OK
“I have stayed at this hotel probably 1/2 dozen times in as many years. Always, a pleasant stay. This time with the remodeling it was sort of messy. I would stay there again though.” Jul 25, 2005 by
Sandra from Cordova, TN
“1st time to stay at Baymont. I've always thought they looked good from the outside, and so did this one.But the hotel was going through remodelling and was in major disrepair--carpets, wallpaper, bath toilet seat. While I understand the disrepair, my first impression was not favorable and I probably won't stay at another Baymont.” Jul 22, 2005 by
Edward from Mesquite, TX
“All in all a good experience, clean rooms, friendly staff, good location.” Jul 20, 2005 by
Jody from Sarcoxie, MO
“This hotel was very easy to find and within walking distance of several good restaurants. Had a nice outdoor pool and pleasant people working at check in.” Jul 6, 2005 by
Michael from Sarah, MS
“We should have been given a refund when there was no running water in our room...” Jul 1, 2005 by
Mary from Memphis, TN
“The desks and furniture were shabby and worn. The sink stopper did not work. The tub was not real clean. I would probably not choose this particular hotel again if I had a choice.” Jun 25, 2005 by
Cam from Tyler, TX
“overall hotel was fine, but wireless internet(which they dont indicate as having or not having on the baymont website) did not function. i spend 30+ mins on phone with tech support. still did get resolved.” Jun 22, 2005 by
Marla from Lexington, OH
“Great location, pool needed work, needed more people when checking in, overall....fine..” Jun 19, 2005 by
Jay from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
“When they installed wireless it worked for me one day and I stayed there for 11 days. I called tech service several times but they could not get me on it. The previous times I have used priceline for my flight or motels I have been very satisfied but not this time. The furniture in room was old and scratched up, one of the lamp shades was torn and I could not get NBC on their cable TV. The box springs under the mattress had big stains on them--it looked like blood but I don't for sure. ” Jun 18, 2005 by
Timothy from Buckner, KY
“This used to be a Budget Inn. It has changed in name only. The furniture is still Budget (old and tattered) The carpets are worn, the beds are Budget Beds¿” Jun 13, 2005 by
Shayne from Houston, TX
“Friendly staff, great location, great stay!” Jun 4, 2005 by
Paul from Palestine, TX
“Fair at best. About a 4 on a scale of 1-to-10” Jun 1, 2005 by
Brandt from Hot Springs, AR
“Great price for this awesomely priced Inn?suites within walking distance of 3 eating establishments.” May 31, 2005 by
Michael from Fort Smith, AR
“Nice hotel with a very good staff. They need to work on that water pressure thing, because it was extremly low. To say that is was low is like calling a whale a gold fish. It was realllllly low. Overall the stay, like all of mine in the past, was very good.” May 17, 2005 by
Rosetta from Fayetteville, AR
“I haven't had a problem, they didn't solve or try to, forgetting toothbrush,comb,etc...They are nice places to rest.” May 9, 2005 by
Beth from Huntington, IN
“This hotel was great to stay at. It was very convenient to get to. All of the staff were very helpful--if I asked a question and they didn't know the answer--they found someone that did. There were restaurants and shopping near by. It was easy to get back on the road again the next morning.” Feb 1, 2005 by
Ann from Branson West, MO
“It is an old hotel which has not been kept up very well. The shower was poor, the room tacky looking and breakfast served too late for early risers. I felt it did not live up to a 2 star classification. I base my comparisons on several other hotels in the exact area as we stay there frequently.” Jan 24, 2005 by
George from Macomb, IL “Satisfactory for the price. Staff very nice. Breakfast above average. Nice.” Jan 11, 2005 by
Bridgette from Germantown, TN
“I liked this hotel a lot until I took a shower the next morning. The bad shower experience knocked my experience from about a 9 down to a 5.On question #5 of this survey, I was asked to rate my overall experience of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I wasn't aware that it was an Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was just a regular Baymont. The front desk staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the room was pretty clean. I'm a pretty hard critic on this though. I never think showers are clean enough and I did detect some mold stains.” Dec 8, 2004 by
Barbara C. from Lees Summit “We arrived very late and our room was still available. Check in took about 3 minutes. The room was great as usual. The next day we saw a familiar face behind the desk and breakfast was just right. We enjoyed our stay.” Oct 13, 2004 by
“Hotel is getting older. Not as well maintained as could be. Slightly odd smell due to mixing smoking and non-smoking rooms together on same floor. Not a terrible place, but nothing special. Not a 3 star; more of a 1 1/2 to 2 star.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Jeffie B. from Stilwell, OK “The room was clean and efficient. I especially commend the maid service staff.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Tana S. from Marshall, TX “I was very disappointed in the Baymont in Texarkana, AR. My mother's room had a foul body odor smell. The bedspreads and linens were old, frayed, and even had some holes in them. The hotel staff did not seem to be very knowledgeable. The pool gate was locked, and we asked if it could be unlocked. The front desk attendant told us that if it was locked when she arrived at work, then the pool was closed. However, later that night, we came back to the hotel to find that the gate was open and guests were swimming. The continental breakfast was pretty good, but that's really the only upside I could find to the Baymont.” Sep 9, 2004 by
Lanese C. from Jones “Baymont Inn in Texarkana, Arkansas, is a fine hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptionally neat and clean---with extra amenities such as iron, ironing board, hair dryer and coffee pot. Also, the continental breakfast was provided early enough for guests that had to leave early. This was most appreciated. Baymont is my hotel of choice in Texarkana, Arkansas.” Hotel Representatives:
