“It was a very old holiday inn, albeit somewhat refurbished, but still having old furniture, old bathrooms, and a very old stained carpet in our room. The room was dingy. In addition, the front area was dirty with construction debris and the attached "restaurant" was dirty. Moreover, the service was horrible. We sat waiting to be served for over 20 min, finally leaving without any food. The front desk staff was incompetent as they couldn't tell us where our room was located and had no information about restaurants and in general was unfriendly and cert. do not recommend this hotel at all!” Apr 28, 2007 by

“No internet, not even wifi in the lobby. No free breakfast either. Building is old. Staff tries to cope. Posting this through open wifi at super8 next door.” Apr 9, 2007 by

“Average hotel with friendly staff.” Apr 8, 2007 by
Terri from Kennard, TX
“The hotel is old and smells. It's got an indoor pool, which would be great for families. No wireless Internet. The only Internet available is apparently dial-up, but if you don't have a phone cord you don't have dial-up either. I would rate this at a two star, and that's only because it's a Holiday Inn. Was very disappointed.” Feb 12, 2007 by

“This hotel was a good stop for letting the children stretch their legs and get a swim in during the winter time. The hot tub is only for 14 and over and that wasn't clear when we booked. Overall, the kids loved the pool and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly to us.” Oct 23, 2006 by

“The newly remodeled part had to be the outside.” Aug 21, 2006 by
Gary from Lansing, MI
“Service stunk, employees did not know right hand from left as far as service. Was on a business meeting where company had contract with Hotel, and nobody knew anything. Restaurant was not open when needed, and to accommodate, they through in any staff to do the job therefore, the quality was not there. We should NOT have had to wait 30 minutes to get drinks (beer on tap) from a bar that is 2 steps away. When we were the only customers to be served, talking 4 people not 100. Asked for blue cheese dressing, got 1,000 island, and our server swore that we got blue cheese. Hello. Bad part was my husband and I have stayed at that same hotel in past, and were very pleased. ”
