“We traveled from Pittsburgh, Pa to Corpus Christi, Tx. One Way, with a big large german shephard dog. I loved that this hotel accommodated us with a quiet away from people (so the dog would be calmer and quieter). People were friendly, Room was clean. Would stay again.” Nov 7, 2007 by
Judy from Greenwood, AR
“Over all for the price it was o.k. the personnel were very friendly and helpful, and I traveled alone this date and it was greatly appreciated, although the room was clean it did smell strongly of cleaning solution, other than that my stay was fine, I did not stay the 2 nights that I had booked partially because of the smell, I did not say anything to staff about it.” Nov 2, 2007 by
Janita from Scott, AR
“I truly liked the location, and the rate was reasonable. The hotel staff was also very nice. My only real concern was the bathroom in my room. Tiles were missing and some were cracked. Although the bathroom had been cleaned (I could still smell the cleaner), it appeared dirty because of the cracked tiles and lifted wallpaper. Also, the facilities needed more vending and coke machines. There was only 1 coke machine for all three floors, and there were no snack machines. After working until 2:00 a.m., I really wanted something to snack on. Since there were no snack machines, I had to drive to the nearest convenience store. It's not a major concern, but it would have been nice to have a vending machine on location.” Sep 24, 2007 by

“Very disappointed.” Aug 14, 2007 by

“I would not stay here again. There are many other hotels in that area and for the same rate. Hard to get to at night and the mold on the walls was a bit too much.” Aug 4, 2007 by
Tom from Naperville, IL
“This hotel was decent. We called ahead to get 2 rooms which are non-smoking and double beds. When we showed up the hotel staff told us she only had smoking king rooms. After getting angry they complied with the non-smoking rooms. Not professional.” Aug 1, 2007 by
Paula from Norman, OK
“This hotel was very disappointing. I usually look forward to spending time in a nice (not luxurious) hotel room that feels clean and modern. Instead I worried about wearing flip flops at all times and I had to buy a new pillow and pillow case before going to bed.” Jul 31, 2007 by

“No commit.” Jul 31, 2007 by

“We pulled up to a dark building where a man was standing in the drive-thru smoking. The entire building/lot was extremely run down and dirty, as well as creepy. The lobby attendant was nice enough, very quiet and unfriendly. The hallways reeked of smoke and the room smelled like a gas station. The toilet had recently been used and there were hairs all over the bathroom sink. There were also large stains all over the sheets. The double glass doors were unlocked and did not lock properly when we tried to secure it. Both I and my wife have traveled all over the world, and stayed in many hotels. All we wanted was a clean bed in a safe location. We don't need all the bells and whistles of a nice hotel. This hotel was the worst we have ever stayed in. Within minutes we had made the decision to move to another hotel. Our last complaint was the amount of money we paid! We paid more than the regular rate! We then moved to the La Quinta Inn across the interstate, and got a large room with a clean king size bed in a perfectly clean and safe hotel.” Jul 25, 2007 by
Cindy from Sapulpa, OK
“It was very run down, so Smokey you couldn't hardly breathe even though we had a non-smoking room. The halls and the lobby were Smokey too. The air conditioner was very old and didn't cool the room. The beds felt like they were falling apart. It was horrible.” Jul 16, 2007 by
Leslie P. from Springfield, MO
“This is the worst place I have ever been to. It stunk so bad you had to go to sleep to escape the smell. Very trashy. There is no way this was a 2star hotel.” Jul 15, 2007 by
Rose from Grambling, LA
“Hotel is in need of remodeling or some other upgrading. The location is fine and would probably be viewed favorably with some routine maintenance and decorating. Amenities will require attention as well.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Rick from Antioch, TN
“We were not very pleased with this selection. Though the room was non-smoking, smoking was allowed in the hall outside, which defeated the purpose. The sliding glass doors to the outside did not seal properly due to the security bolt installed on it, so everything in the room was damp in the morning. We will not stay there again.” Jul 6, 2007 by
Sharon from Leander, TX
“I was very disappointed with this hotel. It was not clean and was even a bit scary. We did not venture from the room until we were ready to leave. I would not recommend it.” Jul 5, 2007 by
Brett from Louisville, KY
“The best way I can describe this hotel is tacky. We don't stay in expensive hotels; we usually stay in hotels comparable to the price range of this hotel. But this location was far and away the worst hotel I've stayed at. The staff was nice, but they were unprofessional. When I went to check in to my hotel, the person at the front was on her cell phone watching TV, not behind the counter. She immediately came to help me, but still had her call on hold. She was helpful, but interrupted our conversation to tell the person on the other end of her cell phone to keep holding on. Our room smelled. The sheets had stains on them. They smelled clean, but they still had stains. Things that were broken were repaired in a tacky way. For example, the remote control was missing the back that covers the batteries and was replaced by tape. Two out of five lights in the bathroom were working. There were cracks in the wall or chips in the wallpaper. Many of these things are no big deal. However, we have stayed at other hotels of a similar price range and have not experienced this at all. Each of these things could easily have been fixed, but they weren't done so properly. It shows us that this hotel location is not concerned with quality accommodations. It's almost like they do what they can to get by. Needless to say, we won't be stopping at that hotel again or recommending this hotel to friends who will be traveling this way in the coming months. I would actually pay more money to stay at another hotel nearby rather than staying at this one.” Jul 2, 2007 by
Frances from San Antonio, TX
“Room was neat and clean. Old facility with poor refurnishing. Heavy smoke odor that crept into rooms. Definitely budget.” Jun 30, 2007 by
Linda from Kalamazoo, MI
“This hotel is a dump! I can't believe it was even rated a 2 star. From the moment we entered the lobby, the smell of stale smoke was terrible. The room (non smoking) wasn't much better. The sheets had cigarette holes burn in them.” Jun 25, 2007 by
Alan from Sherman, TX
“I find the hotel does not come close to meeting a business traveler needs in this town.” Jun 24, 2007 by
Jeffrey from Palm Springs, CA
“We were just passing through Texarkana. The hotel was old run down looking. The room I got was a non-smoking room that smelled so strong of an ashtray when I walked in it almost knocked me over. I quickly found out why. The neighboring room with a connecting door had a few smokers in it along with 2 screaming kids and a little yappy dog. The rest of the hotel was full of a highway construction crew who yelled up and down the hallway. Don't stay here. You won't get a good nights sleep.” Jun 17, 2007 by
Kelly from Coppell, TX
“Old property. Ok to use as a base for sales calls. Would not subject my family to a stay here.” Jun 12, 2007 by
Scott from Paris, TX
“We did not stay at this hotel. It is not 2 stars as advertised even though "they meet your 2 star standards".” May 29, 2007 by
Michael from Marion, AR
“This was an alright hotel for a night sleep and to get back on the road. Did not like the fact the rooms were smoke free but the hallways were and you could smell cigarette smoke inside your room.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 22, 2007 by

“The staff was great, but the hotel is old and there is a very rowdy bar attached. The overall appearence was very seedy and unattractive.” May 21, 2007 by

“Small room, staff not overly friendly, I don't recommend this hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 10, 2007 by

“Would never stay in a place like this. Checking in took over 20 minutes. Lots of bad excuses. Wanted to charge me again for the room. Everything smelled like smoke. Restaurant so smoky you couldn't see. Room Nasty. (Previously extremely pleased with the 2.5 star hotels I received on another trip. I would much rather pay full price than stay in a place like this again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 30, 2007 by
