• I like the larger bathrooms and the easy highway access.

“We had a great room. Great location right off the highway. We liked our view of the trees behind the hotel. Room was bigger than we expected.”

“Asked for extra towels, 2 and one-half hours later they called to ask if we wanted to come get them. I was told that the room was clean and that their was no room to transfer to.”

• New.
• Although the hotel was empty, they stuck us next to the elevator and ice machine&

“The rooms had a bad smell, and next to the elevator and ice machine, we were disturbed by noise. It seemed completely unnecessary, since it was two days after Christmas, and the hotel was empty.”

• More selection on the breakfast buffet for the price.

• The hotel rooms are clean.
• They weren't friendly, refused to give us extra towels, and didn't understand the energy of young children.

“I was very dissatisfied with this hotel. This hotel is no place to take a family with young children. They refused to give us extra towels, where unhelpful in helping us find a restaurant that delivered, charged $5.41 for two minute phone calls and threatened to kick us out of the hotel if we didn't hush our kids up. I have stayed at the Courtyard and a few other cities and the service was great. This hotel is lacking.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• The location was hard for us to get to from the exit we took.

“The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms and beds especially were very comfortable. The breakfast was not fantastic, but was satisfactory. The location was a little hard for us to get to from the Map Quest directions. I'm sure there must have been a better exit to take. If we were ever in that area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there.”

• The shower had a sitting ledge that my wife appreciated for the extra room.
• The hot tub seemed more like a large bathtub, didn't seem hot enough and not enough jets blowing hard.

“This hotel is conveniently located, easy to get to and is very clean inside. The pool was very clean; the hot tub was the only let down. It didn't seem quite hot enough and the jets just didn't blow the way they do in most any other hot tub. The room was very clean, the front desk and everyone else we came in contact with here were very friendly as well.”

• One of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in.
• Could offer free breakfast.

• Staff was not visible.

“Very clean, up to date hotel. We felt very safe, and it is in a good location. I had to wait 10 minutes for a staff member to come to the front desk to check in which seemed weird. Then at check out we didn¿t get a slip under our door and the staff wasn't friendly at check out either. We would definitely stay their again, and just hope for better staff.”

• 5 "nice" pillows per bed!
• Footsteps from floor above (same with most hotels).

“Extremely impressed for TexarkaNA I thought from looking at pix the rooms shown were the upgraded ones. I had a basic room and it was exactly as described. Nice decorative touches. Bathroom nice and clean. Tub actually looked inviting. Red lobster, cracker barrel, Johnny carina¿s within walking distance. Will be going back!”

• It was clean and the beds were comfortable, it had everything you could need, the staff was super friendly.
• This hotel is completely nonsmoking.

“This hotel was very clean, rooms were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, amenities excellent and staff is super friendly and appear to even like their jobs. This hotel is completely nonsmoking so beware of that. Other than that its a great place.”

• The breakfast was not free to all travelers & should be.

“Our stay here was good overall. I would stay here again and appreciate the staff and their concern for us. We just felt like there should be complimentary breakfast for all who stay there. We had that at one of the other Marriott hotels and considered that something special that they provided for their travelers.”

• That the breakfast was no longer complimentary to all travelers.

“It was clean with a friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and we were treated very well. I would stay there again and probably will when we travel back to D.C. in a few months.”

• I think the breakfast buffet should be free. Also, an outdoor pool would be nice.

• Spotlessly clean, easy to get to, nearby lots of restaurants. Well-appointed and furnished.
• No wireless Internet access in the rooms! Also the beds were a bit hard.

“This hotel is far enough off the interstate to be quiet inside, but convenient to the road and to the many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel was clean, well-furnished and well-appointed - classy (the whole place looked brand-new), and the staff were as professional and as helpful as they come. Even the other guests were well-mannered. Two minor negative points; no wireless Internet in the rooms, and the beds were a bit firm for our taste. But overall, Texarkana Courtyard Marriott still earns an A-plus from us.”

• Very nice hotel, clean and spacious.
• Our room (RM 235) had a broken refrigerator.

“Nice hotel. we felt very comfortable except for a few glitches in our room--broken leg on refrigerator made it very wobbly, but was glad to have one in the room. We enjoyed our stay. Got a great room for the money.”

“The hotel was nice overall, but I couldn't sleep because of the noise from other clients. I did not sleep all night. I had to sleep in the morning, and got a very late start on my journey home.”

• It was very comfortable and friendly.
• The service was extremely slow. Breakfast was NOT complimentary, BIG disappointment.

“Although they were slow to get us checked in, they were very friendly. We were very disappointed about the breakfast and so were several other people. We decided not to eat there because of the high prices of the breakfast which is usually complimentary at other hotels. I would recommend this hotel, but I would warn them about the breakfast.”

• Trendy Modern and cosmopolitan hotel with a relaxed atmosphere.
• My husband and I wanted 1 king size bed but was unable to get it so we had 2 full size beds, but it was a college graduation and Prom there also.

“This hotel is very close to Wal-mart Super center, the mall,( Central Mall, and other shopping, and {restaurants, the one we tried was Johnny Carinos which has the best Italian food my husband & I have ever had!} This hotel is very nice, it has a courtyard and each guest on the ground floor has a patio door that they may open and close and enter and exit to walk along the courtyard, a must for romantics! My husband & I had a very romantic meal in the outside gazebo in the courtyard. The work out facility has state of the art equipment, and the indoor pool and hot tub are a must to try. I wish they offered spa treatments like, facials, pedicures, manicures, massages, and other small spa treatments, they would have the business for out of town guests like myself that would love to gain pampering while venturing in a new city! Overall, This is a Safe, Great, and Relaxing hotel to stay.”

• Staff was very helpful.
• Put us in non-smoking room on smoking floor.

“Nice hotel. Wife got sick because of the cigarette smell. We were put on third floor which was a smoking floor although the room itself was non-smoking you have to be kidding yourself to think the smell does not permeate. Front desk clerk was very helpful in changing our room to the second floor. They said I requested third floor which I did not because I did not even know how many floors there were. Due to wife's illness I would like some sort of gesture to restore our faith in Marriott chain so we would stay there again. ”
