• Free internet in hotel rooms, breakfast, pool/hot tub, friendly staff.
• Wish it was closer to Sabine Lake.

• Friendly staff, nice quick breakfast provided, good price, spa worked! pool was small but indoors so nice for a quick refreshing dip.
• Construction around side road so getting to hotel was hard No signs to tell you what exit!

“Staff was friendly, room nice, bathroom clean. Construction on side road off interstate was horrid and no signs to tell you how to get to hotel though you could see it from interstate. We didn't want to get out again in the car but good restaurants within walking distance. Staff very sweet and nice.”

• I am disappointed a smoking room was not provided.

“I am a smoker and will not be staying with the Marriott chains of hotels from this point forward. Their hotels seem to be totally smoke free, even in areas where other hotels are not, and to some this may be an advantage but not to me.”

• Breakfast, newspaper, cookies, swim pool.
• Jacuzzi broken & could have put a cover on it {green}.

“Over all stay was pleasant but a lot of construction on roads around it. Jacuzzi needed a cover to cover up eye sore green Algie water. "That really grossed me out." I have stayed in Fairfield Inns from Michigan, Iowa, & Texas.”

• Roadwork in front of hotel.

“The hotel was very good value for money, the staff were friendly, the traffic noise was virtually cut out once inside our room, but the early morning construction was not impressive, though this is not the hotel's fault.”

• It was clean and friendly.
• The mattresses were kind of firm. I like softer, tempur pedic.

• Quiet and clean, I slept very well.
• Not a lot of healthy choices for breakfast.

“The hotel is located right off the highway. It is easy to get to either direction. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for them to figure out they needed to update their system to get the information to populate. The rooms were clean and quiet; and I slept great. Their continental breakfast was ok. If you like waffles you can make your own. They had no fresh fruit or anything whole wheat. However, they did have instant oatmeal and something you never find at a continental breakfast, 2% and fat-free milk. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay there again.”

• The room was very nice and I love the fact that the hotel has no smoking.
• The location was hard to get to and the staff was not friendly at all.

• Very clean rooms and public spaces -- great for small children.
• Desk drawer was broken. Honestly, that's the only fault I can find!

• All the staff was extremely friendly and dressed very nicely. All had on white shirts and ties and they all spoke English.
• nothing.

“Staff very professional. Extremely clean and orderly. Wide variety of breakfast in a clean environment with a wonderfully friendly lady to greet us. Room was also very clean and quiet which is important to tired travelers Located near good restaurants. All in all, an enjoyable stay. Please convey this to them. Thank You!!”

• Location was close to freeway.
• Staff was not responsive. Pool dirty. Breakfast poor.

“Hotel did not meet expectations. Although breakfast was included, they ran out of biscuits and gravy very early and waffle maker did not function (broken). Had to request additional hardboiled eggs as none were displayed. Pool was dirty and whirlpool was, well, disgusting. Staff appeared to have cared less. Will not return to the Fairfield chain.”
