- New bed linen was nice. New shampoo and soap was nice.
- The maid service was not good- they did not make up either one of our rooms. The bathroom only had shampoo and soap, no lotion or mouthwash.
“Great location, but not a 3 star hotel. No perks in the bathroom, just soap and shampoo. They do not have real half and half for the coffee in the room or the restaurant. Only choice is the "fake stuff". Maid service was not good; they did not come back to our room after their first knock at the door.”

- Feel like you're staying in an upscale hotel.
- Limited parking.
“Check in was quick and easy and so was check out. When attempting to check out via the TV service, I rec'd an error, so I had to go by the front desk. You can call to check out, but I didn't think of that at the time. Appears to be limited parking. During the weekends there is free parking across the street in a parking garage. But, I thought I heard the clerk say it's free on the weekends. Whether you pay or not to park across the street, I wouldn't park anywhere other than the first row on ground level. The way the garage is constructed if you park any where else your car is hidden from view. I thought it would be ideal for a thief. Our room was clean and suited us fine, but we were dead tired when we arrived. The hotel restaurant closes at 10pm, but when we went down to dine there just before 9 pm, we were told it would be a 45-minute to 1-hour wait because they did not have enough staff. There were only 2 or 3 tables occupied at the time. So, we left the hotel and dined elsewhere. We did not try the restaurant for breakfast the next day, because I thought the prices were a little high for what you got. The local paper is part of your charges, so it will be waiting at your door in the morning. That's nice since the husband (me) needs something to do while waiting on the wife to get ready. Overall, I would stay there again, but if I were staying during the week I would call the hotel to ask about parking first. There are few other hotels close by and if they have free parking all the time, I might try them instead.”

- The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable.
- I can't think of anything I didn't like.
“We would stay at the holiday Inn ft smith again. The staff was very helpful when we had questions about things to do in ft smith and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is in the final stages of renovation, and the hallways had clutter all over the carpeting. We did have to maneuver around a lot of things when taking our luggage to our room. All in all it was a perfectly great stay.”

“Nice hotel undergoing some refurbishments. There is no gift shop with typical needed items and there are no shops nearby. This is a good generic hotel with a full service restaurant and room service albeit with limited hours. The beds are very comfortable and the cable service gets most of the major networks.”

- The rooms were beautiful and the lobby was pretty.
- The coffee at the restaurant was the worst coffee I ever tasted. I think the creams were soured.

- We were given a jr. Suite, which was really nice.
- The room service forgot our drinks, and our salad dressing, but they did bring them up to us. The food was good.
“We thought the hotel was very nice. They gave us a jr. Suite. It was great. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.”

- The lobby waterfall was lovely. The staff was polite and helpful.
“While we were there, they were renovating the hotel. It was still a very nice place to stay. The indoor pool and spa were nice. Especially since it would have been too cold to swim outside. Everyone who worked there was very courteous and helpful. I would stay there again.”

- Executive suite was roomy.
- Three towels, one shampoo, for three people, no hair drier.
“Currently being remodeled. The updating of this hotel and the addition of the Marriott next door are helping revive this part of town. On our approach to the hotel, we were concerned when we saw the tattoo parlors and bail bond offices, but we were told that FSPD and hotel security are working to keep the area safe (not that there were ever any significant safety issues in ft. Smith anyway). Hope the area will benefit from the re-gentrification of this hotel and the new Marriot, in addition to added security measures. We'd stay there again.”

- If was not close to the interstate (which made it somewhat inconvenient).

- People were very welcoming.
- No room service from Friday to Sunday when we checked out. Really a big deal when you have no clean towels, no cups for coffee maker, etc.
“They are upgrading rooms, but they started with smoking rooms, why? Those people will only burn holes, stink up the room, etc. Next time I will definitely call the lobby to request that my room is cleaned. We did go by the front office and request towels. We explained that we had not received room service that day and that we had been gone from our room 8 AM to 4 PM. What a disappointment!”

“This was a mess dirty room. One towel and wash cloth for 2 people is not a cheap way to go. Dog treats left over from person before was not appreciated. Lack vacuuming or just lazy I don't know but glass in foot two days in a row was not real easy to overcome. Left over cork screw left over from the party before. This is a poor excuse for a holiday inn. We have stayed at several in the past but this one was the worst by far. This one would not even give us a check out receipt.”

“The place was a mess. The water pipe had broken and flooded the whole hotel lobby. Check in was a joke. The hotel was full of noisy fans trying to dry out the carpet. The wait staff at the restaurant was awful. Not staying there again.”

- The breakfast bar.
- Not much parking next to hotel had to use parking garage across street.
“It was ok but not for a romantic getaway. Some of the extra didn't work like sauna or one whirl pool. Spoke to staff and said the hotel was 25 years old and should be remodeling it soon. No exhaust fans in the bathroom. But in all the stay was fine.”

“This holiday inn was nice for the price. The view was excellent, and my group was meeting just 3 blocks from the hotel location. The room was spacious, but lacked in aesthetic design. However, I did have a very nice view out of my full window.”

- Child friendly, front desk staff helpful.
- Restaurant staff was rude and unhelpful. Closed early after telling us they served until 9:45. We arrived at 9:20 and were turned away.
“The hotel itself was child friendly, but the location was a little difficult. They did not have an available room when we arrived. After about a 20 minute wait, we were given a room and a complimentary dinner.”

- Cheerful staff, waterfall inside.
- Coffee spots on bathroom floor (did not mop), torn up carpet when got off elevator 3rd floor.
“Receptionist very friendly, restaurant waiter very friendly, good location for site seeing old fort, belle isle, historic museums. Right next to convention center. 5 winerys within 45 minute drive. Ft Smith Neet place to see and experience.”

- Friendly staff.
- I was charged for my stay by the hotel. I had to tell them I already paid.
“Pool, spa, and exercise room were less than I expected. The whirlpool and sauna did not work. The air conditioner had a bad odor. The hotel needs maintenance.”

- We very much enjoyed the glass elevator and waterfall in the lobby, as well as the courteous staff.
- The only thing we didn't like was the wine selection for room service, though the food was quite good.

- Clean rooms, facilities, quiet.
- Parking is limited to parking garage or street (meters) start at 8:00 am ; Auto wake up call did not work. Otherwise.
