• The staff (that we encountered) was extremely helpful and nice.
• No restaurant attached, hi speed internet connect not functioning in our room

• Air Conditioner poor excuse, wife wanted extra blanket NONE available.

“The hotel is close to many choices in dinning. There are also many selections if you have any shopping needs or time to spend. The staff was overall friendly unless you have a request or complaint. We called to ask about the air conditioning kicking on and off and the response was "they have a full house". My wife wanted an extra blanket in case it did get cold and they said they had NO extra blankets just the one on the bed. The toilet paper had close to an empty roll with no back-up, no Kleenex and there were several hairs in the bathroom - not ours!”

• Outdoor heated pool open until 10 pm.
• Checking out had problems said I hadn't paid for the room.

• The hi-speed Internet did not work.

“The Internet not working just killed an overall nice hotel. The room was nice, the price was good, but I needed the Internet connection to do some much-needed work. The tech assistant was nice, but was not helpful in resolving the situation. Overall, a bummer.”

• Easy to find and several restaurants, malls and places to go.
• I thought they may offer discounts for food. They did, but out of date.

• Great location, the rooms were clean, and I was treated just fine.

“I was most pleased with my two day stay at Fairfield Inn. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the location was not bad for my activities. It was close to the Interstate, which was a plus.”

• The staff was very friendly and our son (5) and daughter (9) enjoyed the stay.
• The pool needed to be cleaned late in the afternoon...leaves and cigarette butts floating.

“A pleasant surprise since you don't always know what a 2 star will be like, and we needed to have a comfortable room as our main goal in KC was Oceans of Fun and Worlds of Fun. Close to Wal-Mart and Cracker Barrel was a plus, as well as the pool and seating around the pool area. We enjoyed our stay (3 nights)and it was nice to have a noon checkout time our last day.”

• Very noisy. Freeway noises, hallway noises and room next door easy to hear and annoying

“Staff was friendly. There is no exercise room, but I could go across the street to another motel (this worked out fine). The bed was not comfortable. The TV reception was terrible (I did not watch it). High-speed internet access was a plus.”

“We found the Fairfield Inn to be conveniently located, restaurants in walking distance and others nearby. We were impressed with the continental breakfast especially the biscuits and gravy along with other choices. Very unusual to be included with that type of breakfast. Overall we were well pleased .”

“The hotel was good. They were not very friendly with trying to get 2 beds instead of a queen and they had the availability. My sister in law had to change rooms after the desk person changed. There was not continuity with desk staff.”
