“Stay in your car before even thinking about this place. It's by far the worst motel I've ever seen, let alone (tried to) stay in. I moved to another motel because the heaters did not work, the bathrooms had mold, the beds had used linens, trash on the floor! Horrible.” Feb 23, 2008 by
Emilie from Canada
“This was the worst motel experience of my life. My team stayed in this hellhole while competing in a high school tournament. My room was broken into, my electricity went out at 5 am, there were kinds of bugs and smells, and Im convinced someone died in my bathroom. There was mold everywhere; our beds were not made when we entered the room. As for location there were 11 hotels around us that I would recommend 100%! To get to my room you had to go up and down 5 flights of stair outdoors. We were also located right across the creepy woods to the highway. I didnt sleep, nor did anyone on our team for fear of our safety.” Apr 18, 2007 by

“I answered this survey once but just to stress that this hotel was horrible. This is a horrible reflection on your company and the other clean, established hotels that you do offer.” Mar 22, 2007 by

“Stay somewhere else.” Feb 25, 2007 by

“Rooms was not clean. did not change beds, had to ask for trash bags, had to ask for towels!” Sep 27, 2006 by

“In process of be renovated. New TV and phones in rooms. Newly painted rooms. Very clean. Parts under construction.” Aug 30, 2006 by

“We planned to swim, The pool was a mess, staff cared but they needed more help. Staff need to dress professional. Take pride in your facility!” Aug 2, 2006 by
Thomas from Lubbock, TX
“Motel is an older establishment that has been repainted so many times that the trim on doors and windows could stand alone. The promised full service breakfast was a disaster ( wouldn't insult my dog with it) TV remote was missing, took an hour to get one. Cleanliness was an afterthought, mold in bath room, floors unkempt.” Jul 26, 2006 by
Rhonda from Monett, MO
“The hotel staff was very nice, but we had come to this motel hoping to enjoy the pool. As it turned out the pool had green water and was of course locked up. If I had known this bit of info. I would have chosen a different motel, given the fact that that it is summer and most want to swim if the motel has a pool. We had to ask for towels for the room just so we could take a bath too. I just wasn't too happy with those events, sorry that I can not give a good review.” Jul 12, 2006 by
David from Richardson, TX
“Pictures on a web site can be too deceiving. The lobby of the hotel was fine. But when we got back to our room it was very scary. The exterior paint job was horrible with paint sprayed on the windows and sidewalk. There were two bugs in the bathroom. There were no blankets on the beds. Only a sheet and the bedspread, which I never like to use. The mattresses were so thin that the fitted sheets did not fit properly and kept coming off throughout the night. We did not get a good night sleep at all. The free breakfast was a joke. Just a small steam table with hours old food that looked dry. We did not even eat there and had to go to a restaurant. There were so many other nice hotels right next store to this one. This had to be one of the worst properties in Joplin. Thanks for asking for my opinion.” Jul 6, 2006 by
Sue from Forney, TX
“This was the most disgusting room, we've ever stayed in. Everything in it was dirty, the walls, the carpet, the bedspread, the towels. I have a 16 year old son, who said he wouldn't let our dachshund or Labrador retriever stay there.” Jun 28, 2006 by
John from Iola, KS
“It was low priced and the bedding was clean, but if I had seen it before booking, I would have spent the extra money to stay elsewhere. The hotel seemed to be short on staff and supplies. If you don't like to hear outside noises in your room, this is not the place for you.” Hotel Representatives:
