• Convenient location, friendly staff, met our expectations for a positive motel experience.
• Air conditioners were a little too cold.

“We were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were clean and well appointed, the motel staff was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our stay.”

• Convenient location to our final destination.
• The motel was run down in every way. It looked old and worn, no updates had been made.

“The overall look of the motel was run down and not kept. Lobby was outdated and did not make a good first impression. The courtesy van was parked out front and was in very poor shape and looked junky. Door knobs were missing on many doors, security doors to the outside did not lock. The carpets in hallways and rooms were stained. The room was not clean, carpets didn't look vacuumed, furniture were moved out of place, lights were unplugged, no outlets where lights were located in the room, bathroom walls were in need of repair, old food and drinks were left in the refrigerator. Motel cleaning staff sat in unoccupied guest rooms and watched TV, outdoor pool was closed due to repairs during our stay. My daughter and boyfriend had to stay in a smoking room.”

• Good location, good staff, good breakfast.
• The mattress needs to be thrown away. It was a crater. I did not sleep. My neck and back still hurt.

• They got me the food menus and taxi services very fast.
• Too much smoke even in the non smoking & the phone couldn't make outgoing calls.

• It was very dirty. Food, cigarette smell, holes in sheets, dried fluid on floor.

“I only need clean not fancy. This hotel had shoes and leaves in pool. Food on the floor in the lobby. The hall smelled like smoke so bad the kids covered their noses until they got in our no smoking room. Our room had dust and debris all around the edges from pool vacuuming. Cigarette burns in the bedding. Dried fluids on the carpet. I have stayed in many Super eights and this one is the 2nd to worst hotel I have ever seen in my life.”

• Everything was terrible.

“Ok where do I begin? To start the customer service was not there, the front desk girl was either off to the side lobby chatting it up with a fellow co-worker not paying attention to who was walking up to the desk, or she was out front smoking. It was very dirty feeling, and it had a musty smell. The curtains didnt close all the way to cover the full window. There was a bulb out in one of the lights. The lamp in between the beds was unplugged and when I went to plug it in I had shots of electricity shoot through my fingers and arm because, as I noticed after the fact, the wires were showing out of the cord. I went to the front desk to let them know what had just happened and all she said was am sorry, let me get the maintenance man to take a look at that. I was hoping for a little more. There was a bubble in the wall by the air conditioner, when I felt it to see if it was solid it broke open and about 1-2 cups of water came pouring out. I did call once I got home to complain to a manager, since there was never one at the location. After about 5 days of trying to talk to someone I finally talked to Larry who is supposedly the owner, and I had to fight with him to get anything. He didnt even care about what happened; he just said, You used the room didnt you? Yes, I used the room but only because by the time this all happened it was 10:30 at night and my son was already sleeping I wasnt going to wake him up to go looking around for a new hotel room. He refused to give me a refund. So to sum this all up, this super 8 has dirty, smelly, dangerous rooms, with poor customer service, and over priced for what you get. And a last note. The owner of this hotel is also the owner of Super 8 in Blue Springs, MO and Comfort Suites in Liberty, KS. So I am sure the rooms and service are just as bad at these locations.”

• Location, very friendly staff.
• Very unclean, trash in hallways, fixtures falling apart, needed repairs.

“Location was attractive, pool was very small. Hotel was dirty and needed repairs in many areas. Only was allowed one extra pillow due to running out. Trash in hallways. Did have very friendly helpful staff.”

• The mattresses were in terrible shape. They were very uncomfortable. Stopped serving breakfast at 9 sat. Morning.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful, but would not stay here again. The mattresses were very worn and uncomfortable. We did not get a good night sleep.”

• Trash cans never emptied beds untouched.

“The room its self was as rated 1 star. Trash can was never emptied and after ordering some food on the first day I had that smell the whole trip. Bed was never made and the sheet had a stain on it. Construction was blocking the main entrance but there was no sign about the second so a person would have to walk around and find one.”
