• Location and comfort of bed.
• TV cable
  was very disappointing.

“I would go back to this hotel if it is just myself and husband but traveling with my teenage kids,
I would not go her just because of the TV, no MTV, no movie stations. No pool, continental breakfast was great though.”

• Large room size and no hallways, private entrances.
• No smoking throughout the hotel.

“This is a very clean hotel with a great free breakfast. You feel like you're staying in condos with the private hallways. The staff is very helpful and gave us printed out directions anywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely stay again.”

• It's very clean and friendly.
• The hotel sign is not very visible from the street.

“Is an excellent alternative for families with kids. Special with all the appliances that you have inside the room. The rooms are very cozy.”

“Being a traveler, I will do my best to make this as informative and helpful as possible. I feel compelled to write this because of the most excellent stay we just had at this hotel. That alone sometimes makes hotel clerks a bit snotty. But not here, they welcomed me as they did all of the other guests who were in the lobby. I walked away after checking in with such a great feeling because I felt that they went out of their way to be accommodating. Plus they had candy on their counter that was filled to the brim all hours of the day or night and I'm talking the good stuff like Reese's, snickers, rice crispy treats, etc. My kids were in heaven and used every excuse they could think of to go down to the lobby. The room was clean and the decor was ok. The mattress was a little firm but I was used to it after the 1st night of waking up a bit stiff. Free WiFi was awesome and helped a lot! Didn't use the kitchen amenities such as microwave, dishwasher, stove, fridge etc but it was all there along with fully stocked dishes in the cupboards. The breakfast was out of this world. The first morning there was pancakes, 2 different types of sausage and the 2nd morning was biscuits and gravy. Both mornings there was homemade oatmeal with a variety of toppings, make your own Belgian waffle, pastries and breads galore, cereal, eggs, breakfast potatoes, with lots of toppings. They really go out of their way to make your breakfast experience memorable; the staff was just as friendly as I've ever encountered. I would highly recommend this hotel to families!”

• Room were very nice and big, with kitchenette.
• There was nothing we did not like.

“This hotel was so nice. We loved the big size of the room, along with the fact it had a kitchen and living room area. The staff was so nice and the warm breakfast in the morning was excellent. The shuttle service also helps to go see parts of the city without having to drive. Everyone was great and we will stay there again!”

• Friendly staff. Good free breakfast. Spacious rooms.
• Didn't bother me, but many rooms only had stair access.

“This was very convenient to Downtown KC. Finding it was easy. The room was well-appointed. We arrived late with no problem. Staff was very helpful when we needed to find a drug-store obviously had the traveler's convenience in mind. Breakfast goes well beyond continental with eggs, tacos and pancakes. Great value for 2.5 stars.”

• I especially liked this hotel because they did go of their way to help me.
• The rooms are a little out dated.

• Stairs in and out of room

“This hotel was more like apartments. Very spacious and comfortable. Romantic Fireplace and fully equipped kitchen made for a homey feel. Would highly recommend.”

• Spacious rooms with fridge, microwave and utensils.
• Not in a very pretty neighborhood.

“Clean room, lots of space. Great for those who like to prepare their own meals as it is equipped with electric range, fridge, microwave, silverware and plates. Quick drive to Union Station and Crown Plaza area. Moderate drive to Plaza area. Hotel itself is not in a pretty neighborhood.”

• I didn't think hotel rooms were this spacious and nice. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in!
• Nothing comes to mind.

“Great beds, plenty of fluffy pillows. nice soft towels. Clean kitchen with full size appliances and utensils. I felt I was in a luxury apartment and not a hotel room.”

• The combination of kitchenette, bedroom, and living room.
• It was under remodel so the lobby area was a mess. The access is by wood stair and decking so it is noisy. The toilet ran all the second night.

“The rooms are tastefully decorated. My room had a private window view with two windows. The room had a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and incinerator. The bed was large and comfortable. ”

• No rooms with king beds. Had a three level stair climb to room.
