- Room layout was very nice - separate bedroom - and the plaza location was close to some of my wife's favorite shops.
- Had to get three different sets of keys made before we got some that worked, and the staff seemed to blame us for them not working.

- Beautifully decorated and great location and staff.
“It is perfectly placed in the Kansas City Plaza. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff worked very well with us to compromise on our check-out time, due to our children's nap time. Great hotel for a small price.”

- Comfy beds and flat screen TV's in both living and bedrooms.
- Elevators are fairly slow.
“I stayed at this hotel years ago before the renovation. It was pretty bad with old, peeling wallpaper and mattresses that you had to hang on the side to keep from rolling into the middle. It appeared dirty, but I think this was due to the bad shape of the room. They have done an A+ job at renovating. I would stay again without hesitation.”

- Perfect location on the Plaza, spacious room, clean, good decor.
- We had to pay $9 for parking, not a big deal for one night, but that would add up.
“The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly. It was located right at the corner of country club plaza which was the perfect location to walk to all the best shops and food places. It was clean and modern looking. We really enjoyed ourselves.”

- Suite Room set up utilizes space nicely - two TV's and couch add to the living area.
- Fingerprints and smudges on door by handle and lock. TV stand in living area cheap and peeling paint.
“Would stay again for sure. All amenities needed and then some - TV's, fridge, coffee, iron, microwave - great. Just need to remember to clean doors and door handles - and should replace the TV stand.”

suite was perfect for us - gave us room to move around but was cozy.
- Lack of simple things like paper or stationary (even called the front desk, no paper?)
“Very enjoyable and relaxing stay; the suite was comfortable and roomy. The location was excellent - close to shopping and eating establishments. We thought it was odd to not be able to find any paper (we only needed a couple of sheets) in the room or even through the front desk.”

“Location is about all this hotel has to offer and there are several other cleaner, better maintained properties in the area. Staff was positively unfriendly. Rooms are tiny and quite worn, LCD TV are the only updates within the past 10 years or more. Room assigned had not been cleaned after prior guest, internet was broken (extra charge for internet access). Parking fee, extra per day so add that to your calculations, you can park for free in the garage across the street, but the valet's will chase you out of the drop off if you are trying to unload, but not use their service. Carpets were worn and dirty, linens were filthy as was the bathroom. There are many better alternatives in the area so shop around.”

- The decor and layout of our room was modern, comfortable and relaxing. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable.

- Best location for the Plaza.
- The bathroom door would not close in our first room, drain was clogged in our second.
“The Sheraton Suites has the best location of any Plaza hotel, it's in the Plaza, but is just down main street from the Power & Light District and close to Westport. The hotel seems to be getting old, however. It took several phone calls and more than an hour for maintenance to attempt to fix our bathroom door (which wouldn't close). Eventually they changed us to a new room. In that one the bathroom sink was clogged. Not deal - breakers, but an unfortunate way to start a trip.”

- Location. Perfect for plaza shopping, dining, etc. Rooms were great.
- $9.95 for mobile internet? Ridiculous.
“Great location and rooms were excellent. Was disappointed in having to pay $9.95 for wireless internet in my room, when it was free in the lobby. Seems like an unnecessary charge that the hotel knows it can get away with, because many travelers would prefer the privacy of their room over the lobby. Also, they've done away with complimentary upgrades to plaza view rooms even if the hotel has vacancies.”

- The room layout was nice.
- The staff, the construction in the next room, the internet service and the breakfast.
“When we arrived I was told that there was a charge for the use of internet. It was a weak wireless signal. Eventually I was able to use the wire in the room. Soon after that was fixed a sound like someone was drilling a hole in the wall resonated through our room. I called the staff and they assured me that it would stop after five and should not be a problem in the morning. At 8:30 A.M. someone was drilling through the wall again. When I complained about it I was offered a free breakfast, why not I am up anyway? So I sat down and had what must be the worst breakfast before me. This finished off a bad experience with what could be expected.
I will never do this again.”

- The space we were able to get in the room. So one could sleep while another watched TV or read.
- Where you drive up to register was very small and we had to drive around the block twice before we could get into the area to register.

“Picked hotel because o f attractiveness of pool indoor/outdoor. All indoor pool facilities were under construction which disappointed me and my children. Front valet area being re-painted, very difficult to get in/out of hotel. Did not like underground parking area, spots too small, and people drove too fast in it. Hotel room was too cold for all of us, and thermostat would not make room warmer. Nice room set up, clean hotel, hotel staff friendly, restaurant staff not overly friendly. Ants in restaurant area.”

“I asked 2 rooms for this trip. They put me on the 14th floor, and my guests in an 18th floor suite. Indoor pool was broken and was not made aware till we got down there. Ice machines on floors 10-17 were broken. when I called about that they told me I could just go to the 18th floor to get ice. Hotel its self looked ran down and un-kept. Lights not working on the sign, old paint, and dated decor. I expected more from Sheraton. Then to rub it in, there is a beautiful Hampton Inn suites across the street for you to look at while out at the pool and wish you had stayed there.”

- Location was great, bar was fun, liked music at bar, parking was good.
- Pool area not attractive, smoking allowed, staff not friendly and barebones.
“Club lounge was very poor. Poorly staffed, and no food both times we tried to use it, i.e. no coffee cups in am! Other staff was not attentive. Once called front desk, rang for 30 times no one ever answered.”
