• The food in the restaurant was not very good, but very expensive.

• Staff was very quick to respond to needs.
• There was an electrical switch that was in need of repair and the toilet did not stop running unless you returned the handle to the upright position.

“Wonderful mattress on bed Quick response to request for more coffee and another blanket. Room - very clean. Dangerous electrical outlet. Toilet handle needed fixed.”

“This was a great hotel located on the plaza with nicely appointed rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food from room service was overpriced (to be expected) and not all that good. There is a parking charge at the hotel (only $9 per day or $14 for valet). Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.”

• The bed was super comfortable.
• Staff did not seem as willing to help because I am a younger customer.

“The hotel was in an excellent location to shopping, dining, and entertainment. It was attractive and I was very happy with the set up and conveniences in the room. Overall, I was very happy with the service and accommodations at this hotel.”

• Charge for internet access. Charge to print airline boarding pass! Food mediocre.

• This hotel is located in a beautiful spot on the country club plaza.
• The customer service at the front desk needs help and the toilet paper is something I would expect to find in prison.

“I had booked a two night stay and unfortunately did not get to use the first night but arrived mid day the next day for my second night. When I arrived the clerk initially told me that my room would not be available for awhile. I reminded her that I had actually paid for last nights stay and therefore expected a room "now". She said that if I was willing to wait she would "upgrade" me to a plaza view room, which was odd, because the fellow that checked in before me was told that there were no plaza view rooms available. I told the clerk that I wanted my room now. After much grumbling and eye rolling she checked me in and clearly they did have a room. In hindsight, I believe she wanted me to wait because this particular room had not seen a person for some time. It was very dusty. Also, when I awoke in the morning and attempted to make coffee, there was only decaffeinated available. I was very disappointed in my stay.”

• The room was very comfortable & staff was friendly.
• I was charged for $9/day for parking & $10/day for internet.

“The hotel itself was great. Every room was a suite. The "hidden" charges were a bit surprising, but the location was great. Food there was okay, but there are plenty of places within walking distance if it's not what you want. The day staff was very helpful! The evening staff tended to blunder quite a bit!”

“Room furnace didn't work so well. I stayed at a similar class hotel and they had free high speed internet in the room vs. this hotel, where it cost $10/day. Used toiletries from previous customer still in shower.”

• Heater was set on a specific temperature. and you could not control it. It was cold.

“The tub was not cleaned well; it still had some hear in there. And the room was cold. Other than that the stay was fine.”

• Location to Dinning and Shopping. Upscale attractions.
• Wi-Fi fee. I feel that Hotels that cater to the Business traveler should not charge for Internet. This to me is a revenue booster and not a convenience

“Internet should be free for the guest. I stay at many other brands that offer free Wi-Fi. If a Hotel wants to charge extra for drinks and dinner because of the atmosphere then fine. But don't gauge the customer for a $9.95 a day Wi-Fi charge.”

• My wife and I stayed here when we were married; we stayed there again last weekend for our 8th wedding anniversary. It's still a great hotel!
• Everything was great, no complaints!

“The Sheraton Suites in Kansas city is a great place to stay! It's located on the Country Club Plaza and has great places to eat, shop, and relax. I love this area and the Sheraton; we always have a great time there. This is my third stay in this hotel and as always, it was great!”

• I loved having the room separate from the living area.
• The bed was not the most comfortable and I heard other guests with the same complaints.

“I really enjoyed my stay. I was in town for a wedding right across the street and the location worked out perfect. The hotel was very nice and clean. The only concern that I had been the bed was a little uncomfortable, but given my social activities the night before both nights, I slept like a baby.”

• The room had very thin walls; you could hear everything outside your room, including the wind howl trough the door and windows.

• Valet staff & front desk staff were outstanding, especially the night desk staff.
• I was unhappy because I really wanted a king bed, but got two doubles & couldn't get it changed.

“Lovely experience. Extremely comfortable pillows & bed, nice to have a mini frig in the room & the Nintendo was another fun feature. The rooms & lobby area all are very pleasing. I also liked that there were 3 options for parking. Valet, hotel lot for a charge or a free garage across the street. I would like to go back!”

• The bed and linens were nice. Nice to bring date back to.
• Had to pay for parking. Not so good. Small lobby.

“Very nice hotel on western edge of Kansas City's Plaza. Within walking distance of very nice restaurants and bars. No view to speak of. Suite has a nice sense of elegance without actually being very elegant. I would say that the suite is hardly larger than a normal hotel room, but rather is just set up differently with a wall dividing the areas. Extremely clean and very nice bedding.”

• Nice location with a very nice swimming pool for kids and adults. We loved the location and the area.

• The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the location was great.
• The rooms were a bit small.

“We had a great stay at the Sheraton Suites Kansas City. The location was great and we were able to walk to and around the Plaza without safety concerns. We have two kids, 7 and 3, and they really enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any needs that arose. We would definitely stay there again.”

“I found a clump of dark black, long hair stuck to the (dirty) shower curtain in the bathtub. Overall, the hotel was quiet and decorated nicely. The kids enjoyed the pool.”

“Parking was excessive, 9 dollars a day. Plus, bottled water, although it looked complimentary, cost 6 dollars a bottle. The bedroom was nice, but kind of small for a "king size" as it was listed. The bed was very comfortable though.”
