• Nice rooms.
• No indoor pool and the free continental breakfast was crap! Cereal, bagels and fruit. Not my idea of a breakfast.

“Not family friendly, no indoor pool and the breakfast was not a breakfast. In consisted of fruit, cereal and bagels. We wanted a real breakfast with some meat. We ended up leaving and going out to eat. There was no indoor pool which is highly important for our kids and there just wasn't anything for the kids to do there. The rooms were very nice and clean and the staff was friendly.”

• Staff was very friendly, walking us around to show us the services available.
• Tub drain did not drain well, needed drain cleared.

• Very clean, very modern, extra large rooms.
• No hot tub and an outdoor pool.

“We loved staying at this hotel. For the price it can't be beat, I would have expected to pay a lot more to stay at a hotel with the modern conveniences as this one. But please don't raise the price cause I would definitely stay there again.”

• The night clerk was great and the room was wonderful.

“This hotel was great. I was arriving late and the night clerk was waiting for me to get there. He was very friendly. The room was great. It was nicely decorated and spacious and even had a large flat screen television.”

• The beds were very comfortable. The front desk was really helpful.
• We could not locate a phone book in the room. Would have a liked a microwave in the room.

“The hotel was great. Very clean, very modern design, and 42' LCD screen TV in the room with a separate cozy corner. Extremely happy and felt right at home in the comfy king sized bed.”

• Pull out sleeper needed a thicker mattress.

• The flat screen TV was nice. The bed was very comfortable.
• No parking, we had to park across the street due to construction. No phonebook, or TV guide in the room.

“It was an ok hotel. The room wasn't bad, the staff seemed to get overwhelmed easily. We didn't get the newspaper like the amenities stated and the parking was bad. I don't think we will choose this one again. The location was good, so we will choose another hotel in the same area.”

“The staff was incredible. They were all super friendly. The bed was awesome. They had a ridiculously sweet TV in the room. The set up of the room made it feel more like a small yet spacious apartment than a hotel room.”

• They forgot to clean room one day, when I returned from dinner and opened door there were 2 guys leaving towels? scared me to death.

“I loved this hotel, 42 " LG TV, huge sectional, spread my work out and watched TV, ample electric plugs, refrig, beds comfortable, desk help fantastic and helpful with faxing, awesome gym, wish I could always get this hotel when I stay in Kansas City- Overland Park, is there a way to do that? HYATT Convention Center.”

• The location and 42 inch flat screen TV in my room.
• No microwave in the room, too few cable stations.

“Nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Fresh coffee and juice each morning. Apples available through out the day. They provided a 42 inch flat screen in my room but only about 15 stations. Plus you get the refrigerator but no microwave. With a microwave I would have never left my room except to grab coffee in the morning.”

• The room was very quaint, different, contemporary, user friendly, clean. Staff very friendly. Wish the awesome stay could have lasted longer!
• A bit difficult to find if unfamiliar with the area.

“Even though they're undergoing the change from AmeriSuites to a Hyatt and some remodeling is taking place, it was an awesome atmosphere, beautiful and clean rooms, and very friendly staff. Overall, the stay couldn't have been better.”

“Large rooms, very clean fridge and microwave in every room. They were in the process of remodeling the hotel on some floors and it was still an excellent stay with all that going on. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The kitchen area worked out perfect.
• Nothing.

“Good location. It was a quick stay but perfect for us. We picked up a late dinner at cheesecake factory and brought it back to the room. The kitchen and tables were perfect and the bed and room temp worked out well.”

• Comfortable bed, kitchenette was awesome, clean and well furnished, near many restaurants.
• Outer drapes do not close.

“I would come back to this hotel anytime. The kitchenette was great. The hotel was spotless, there were additional pillows and blankets already in the room. Everything worked as would be expected. The kind sized bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. Located on 110th street, it is only a few easy blocks from a huge shopping, eating, entertainment district and only one block off I-435. This is my new favorite hotel for South KC.”

• The staff was awesome, and the room was big enough for my kids to have room to spread out.
• The beds were not the best quality and little soft for me.

“We had some booking issues at first but the manager worked with us very well, and my kids had a great time. The pool was well kept, and the room had plenty of space for my 2 small children to spread out and have their own space. It was wonderful.”

• Key card did not work, had to have it redone to get into the room.

“This hotel had nice accommodations, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast and eating area for it. Room had refrigerator and microwave as well as mini kitchen, but no dishcloth or towels. Two room suite was comfortable but light outside of room on 4th floor shines directly into the room--and there were no curtains to pull. Sheers did not shut out the light. It was day bright in the room all night. Curtains, drapes, or blinds of some type would help. Excellent accommodations otherwise.”
