• Wiliness to fix a problem promptly. There was a problem with our room.

“The hotel staff was polite and helpful. We had a problem with our hot water in the room, they tried to fix it and could not. So, they gave us second room for the remainder of our stay. Rooms were clean and fresh. Access was acceptable. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.”

• The hotel staff is honest and friendly.

“Upon discovering I had left my credit cards and checkbook at the hotel, I called the hotel and everything had been turned in to the front desk and was kept in a safe place until it could be picked up the next day by my husband. It's nice to know they have a staff you can trust.”

• Generally a pleasant place to stay.
• Being picky, there was a sticky spot on the dresser.

• Located in nice neighborhood, nice facility.
• Room on lower level smelled musty, broken patio door.

“Hotel is in a quiet area, with easy access to many attractions. The pool area was relaxing, almost tropical. We liked having a refrigerator in our room. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Hotel could use some repairs, but was overall clean. Friendly staff. Would stay again.”

• The beds were comfortable and big.
• The breakfast was not that good.

“The hotel was nice, the room was cleaned, and the staff was friendly. They had everything in order. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the breakfast. The bacon was no good, the scrambled eggs were runny.”

• I thought be beds were exceptional.
• Nothing to speak of.

“The Laquinta Hotel in Overland Park was a very nice stay with excellent beds. The breakfast bar was adequate and the reception was very good.”

• The location was what we needed.
• The noise from other guests caused us to leave early.

“The location and price was what we were looking for. The complimentary breakfast was also pleasing. Our only dislike, which was crucial, was the comfort level. Several rooms next to ours had very noisy children, and little was done to control it. There was also a loud male during breakfast using profanity on his cell phone, which was also uncomfortable, especially since children were present. In the future, hotel staff should be aware of such things, and ask those people to tone it down for the rest of the guests.”

• I was clean and nice looking.
• There was nothing that I did not like.

“The hotel was a little hard to find as there was no street sign. The check in clerk was friendly. The room was clean and very nice. The continental breakfast was great. There was a lot of choices for eating breakfast. I would stay there again.”

• Very nice, clean and great breakfast.
• It was all good.

“This hotel was easy to find, modern, clean and friendly staff. The room was large and had very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was very large and good for my group of students who were on a budget. A free meal with the room was a great bonus for them! Also it beats wasting time in the morning trying to find a good place to eat. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, especially at such a good price.”

• I believe this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way!
• Only one tiny complaint. The water temperature and pressure in the shower was substandard.

• In pool area and in dining area noticed some ants.

• They offered more than most of the 3 star hotels that we have stayed in.
• Everything was great and therefore, there are NO dislikes.

“The setup in the room was great. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and a sofa. The hotel also offers a FREE breakfast buffet every morning. It was a very pleasant stay and in a great location. Oh! The staff were very pleasant and warm as well.”
