• It was very comfortable with beautiful decor.
• I wish a light blankets were provided instead of just the heavy duvet.

“Marriott's are always nice. You really can't go wrong and this was no exception. We had a late night drink and snack in the bar which was delicious. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful.”

• Visually very pleasing.
• Room was a little too small.

“I liked everything except the size of the room. The furniture too took much of the space - it needed to be about another third the size of the room to feel good. The exercise room was good - as well as the pool and the hot tub. You could walk outside the hotel onto the grounds which had a nice walk path.”

• Very convenient to where I needed to go in the city.
• My room the first night was right next to the elevator and could hear it all night.

“My first night wasn't a pleasant one because I was placed right next to the elevator and you could hear it in the room - room 625. But I did request to move and after that it was a pleasant experience.”

• I never stayed at an upscale hotel, it was great.
• The hotel was so big, got lost a few times in it.

“Everyone was friendly, the hotel was nice. I would love to stay again on the top floor and watch the planes come in. The view of the little lake was nice.”

“This is a perfectly located hotel. On the airport grounds. The staff was very friendly and did a great job of getting us to the airport on time and picking us up after our trip was over. I would stay there again.”

• From check in to check out everything was excellent.
• Bathroom is very small and the shower had very low pressure.

• Wonderful lobby.
• Room was small some portion of room were old.

“The hotel lobby and public areas are really nice. It may have led me to believe that my room would reflect this quality. Unfortunately, it did not. The king size room I stayed in was a little older and small. The door had stains on it and the shower was a little old as well. Additionally, I'm 6'4" and I felt like if I stood upright in the bathroom, I would hit my head. I also had to pay for internet access in my room! There was also a very limited number of channels (maybe 20) to watch.”

• Restaurant was a little too pricey for the fare that was offered.

• Bathroom floor was stained.

“The room was small and the bathroom sized for one person only. There were stains on the bathroom floor. The TV was a standard large tube CRT. There was a small coffee pot but no regular coffee, decaffeinated only. The bed was very comfortable but everything else about this hotel/room was quite mediocre.”

• The restaurant service was poor, slow, we ordered steak and the meat was so tough, we did not finish our meal.

• A great basic room, not over the top! Just nice, comfortable, & affordable.
• There was only one single serving bag of regular coffe.

“No complaints other than the one single serve coffee bag. Staff ver friendly and allowed me to check in at 10am! This was awesome for me, as I was only in town for less than 24 hours for a wedding and did't wish to check-in at midnight!”

• It was nice, neat and clean. I like that it was quiet and cozy.
• I dislike that I didn't have wireless internet service. The bathroom was rather small.

“This is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel and look forward to staying there again. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The lobby area and hallways were really neat and nicely decorated. I liked the rooms because they are cozy and easy to relax in comfort while feeling at home.”

• Had to pay for the internet. Could stay in much cheaper hotel and get it free.

“Everything was nice about this hotel. The only complaint I have, as do others, is having to pay for the internet. I will probable stay at cheaper hotels that are just as nice and they provide internet access without a charge.”

• It was very clean

“This is a nice hotel for a single business traveler. The rooms are quite small for a family of four. The front desk girl was very helpful and nice. Restaurant was decent. Pool was very clean, but it was really cold in the pool area.”

“Although located at airport, jet noise was no problem and the hotel is quickly and easily from the interstate. Our business was in North KCMO primarily and the location worked fine. The hotel is a great space.”

“We arrived at 1:00 AM and they only had a room with a single king-sized bed. We had 3 in our party and although they offered a roll-away, there was no room for in the room, so we ended up with 2 adults and a 14 year old in one bed.”

“Overall, this hotel caters a lot to airline staff due to its proximity to the airport. It does not have many amenities. For a 4 star hotel, is kept in very poor conditions and the staff is more interested in keeping your conversations short, instead of any real service. I felt like I was a burden to them. Very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I travel about 1 - 2 times a month, and I always have been very happy.”

“Hotel was nice and clean, friendly and helpful workers. Husband couldn't figure out how to use his laptop in the room, instructions not very clear plus cost was a little pricey. Liked the huge shower and bathroom. Needs better directions on roads to get there. Got lost.”

“Hotel was way above a three star that it was rated, the internet access was limited and expensive considering you can get free internet at the airport across the street and the food was just ok, I got room service and it was a tad below average and was expensive with 20% automatically put on the bill and a 45 min. wait seemed excessive for a sandwich.”

• TV in room severely outdated, made funny noises. Under-par service at the hotel bar.

“The hotel is right across from the airport which made it very convenient for the late flight in. Even though it was next to the airport, there was no noise of planes flying over. The step-in shower with dual shower heads was awesome.”

• Isolated - staff did not know what was happening gave wrong information.

“The front desk staff made errors on our bill because we were sharing a room and they didn't take separate credit cards. We were also misinformed about the restaurant and that it was open when it was not and then it didn't open because they said that there wasn't enough business so we ate in the bar. The food and service was good, but we didn't want to eat in a bar setting. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was nice and room service was excellent!”

• The room was crowded with furniture, little room to move.

“The hotel was fine, but we were not able to leave our car in the lot as noted on their ad which cost additional parking during the week. We stayed at other hotels during our trip for less and they were more to our liking. They need to remove some of the furniture from the room.”
