• The continental breakfast, although it didn't seem very organized.
• The bathroom faucet was broken and the light cover fell off and broke in the bathroom.

“I wouldn't stay there again. Things were broken, the coffee pot was dirty, and the air conditioner smelled like skunk.”

• The room was pretty nice.
• The staff were not incredibly friendly, and did not seem to understand English well.

“Overall, a decent hotel for the price. The pool is outdoors and was very cold. It did seem to be well maintained though. The room was nice, with 2 queen size beds, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. The staff were not overly friendly, and seemed to watch my father closely when we went down to breakfast which was not appreciated. There also seemed to be a breakdown in communication (language barrier).”

• It was a place to stay for 10 hours.
• The hotel just didn't reach my expectations.

“If you need a place to stay overnight and take off in the morning, you could stay here. But for the price and the lack of staff, there are other places you could stay.”

• I was convenient to the interstate.
• Our room was facing the interstate so it was noisy with traffic.

“For the price the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast included good hot waffles. The only negative was the road noise since our room was facing toward to interstate.”

• Beds were very comfortable. Soft linens.
• Lots of noise, walls seemed very thin.

“Was a little disappointed in the decor. Our room seemed out-dated with wallpaper border around ceiling and older carpet. Bedding was soft and very comfortable, which was what we wanted. Bathroom was ok.”

• The night clerk remembered us from earlier stays.
• Room access outside, upstairs, inconvenient. Industrial setting.

“Not bad really, and inexpensive. It take quite a bit to earn a room. The motel is easy to find, right off major roads, but it is older and not easy to keep the exterior neat.”

• Not clean, felt unsafe, carpet worn, cigarette burns, saggy beds, sticky bathroom floor, noisy truck stop nearby.

“Located in an unattractive area of town that is industrial, with truck stops and fast food restaurants. The motel gave the impression that it had seen better days and is now declining. It did not compare with other 2 star hotels we have stayed at.”

• Easy access from the Interstate high way.
• Had a lot of trouble with our room keys/cards not working properly.

“We had problems getting our cards to unlock the door. We didn't actually try to get replacements because it was only for one night. The clerk when I checked in could have been a little more professional with customers.”

• Close to Interstate and convenience store.
• Charged a $50 cash deposit (plus tax) for no reason.

“The room was clean and comfortable. The first room I was given did not have internet access, but I was able to change rooms without any problem. I don't like having to interact with the clerk through a 2 inch window just because I arrive after 10pm. Just because I travel at night or in the evening doesn't mean I am a criminal. Charging me a $50 cash deposit (plus tax, who in the world taxes a deposit?). I didn't have a pet or any other plausible reason for having to leave a deposit.”

“Added cost to room. Clerk wouldnt check me in unless extra cost was paid. Manager didnt return call until 2nd message. Didnt offer amenity for their rudeness, adding extra cost. Room smelled like pet odor. Rust on bathroom door hinges. Stains on ceiling.”

“The quality of the facility did not justify even a two star rating. Based on the rating I raised my bid to a level too high for the actual quality of the facility. The front desk person was nice. The room was clean but the grounds were not well kept.”

“The first time I stayed in this hotel I was put on the second floor, with no convenient access to stairways. The last time I checked in to this hotel, I had a lot of baggage and asked that I get a room on the first floor so I wouldn't have to carry so far. Very disappointing.”

• It was not convenient to get to one's room. They had blocked off a stairwell for some reason.

• The room was very clean and updated.
• Outside - no interior corridors.

“It was very good and met our needs. The hotel was so empty I wish they would have offered a ground level room, especially since the stairs were mostly iced over and there were not any interior hallways. I would have liked a King Room - I don't think they had any.”

• The bathroom appeared to have been recently updated.
• Located next to a truck stop with all night truck traffic.

“The room was clean and comfortable; the downside is that it is located next to a truck stop. We heard trucks all night long and didn't get much sleep.”

• The bed sheets were very thin and had an odor.

“The desk clerk was very unfriendly, I arrived about 12:00PM after attending a wedding, she was probably tired. The sheets and bedding ruined it for me, I couldn't wait to get out of there.”

“I did report the condition of the mattress to the motel owner. He said he planned on replacing 30 of the mattresses (not all though) so still no guarantee you'll not have one of the old ones. Room also at back where we could hear the semis all night coming into the large truck stop located directly behind us.”

• The staff was honest when they told me there had been a booking.

“The outside of the hotel in unattractive. The exterior maintenance, grounds and parking is poorly maintained and very dirty. The outside is an immediate turnoff. On the other hand, the room itself was clean and reasonably attractive. I would not recommend the hotel.”

“I will never again stay at this hotel. The staff was beyond rude and far from accommodating. Clientele that stayed here were scary and grounds were dirty. Breakfast food was a few days old and recycled. Do not stay here with a family or a solo female. As a larger male I felt threatened. The staff yells at you if you comment about anything. You are inconveniencing their private calls if you need to ask a question. Manager was as bad as its staff.”

“My husband and I were passing through and stayed the night. It was fine for that. You need to get a low price to make it worthwhile. Staff was fine. It was about what I expected but nothing to brag about.”

• Price was very reasonable for what we got.
• No elevator, continental breakfast, stale donuts.

“The hotel was fine. We came in very late and at check in I had to stand out in the foyer through a glass to check in while yelling my answers to the clerk who was away at her computer. I could not even see her during this exchange. But, I understand it was for security and no big deal. I did not like having to carry many bags up stairs.”

“The hotel is in a good location, but it has few services and no indoor hallways or restaurant, or pool. Basically low on features. You can tell it must have been a old motel 6 or something cheap.”

“The hotel is in a bad location next to a truck stop where truck noise is herd all night. The staff locked a stairwell closest to our room so that we had to walk around to the other side of the hotel to use the stairs. The walkways were dirty and not kept up.”

“2 stars are over rated. The room was full of dust cobwebs and they did not clean very well any of the four days that we were there. The breakfast was day old donuts a large jar of peanut butter for all to share and orange juice from a machine that had streamers of dried up orange juice coming out of it. All the towels and bedding should be replaced. [I use better to check my oil].”

• It was easy access off the highway.
• Could not get a late check out time.

“The room was clean. The hair dryer did not work. The night staff didn't seem too friendly. I had asked for a late check out, when I checked in that evening. He could not make that decision, and told me call in the morning. I didn't call and we checked out by the 11:00 am check out time.”

• Easy to find. That is the only positive comment I have.
• It smelled, staff not on top of things, lots of drinking going on. Carpets not clean, so just not impressed. Will not stay there again.

“This hotel is located away from all other hotels - so location is bad. Our room SMELLED so badly - that I would have slept in my car - except for the fact that there were some questionable looking people drinking outside out room. This was a horrible hotel and horrible experience for us.”

• The hotel was in disrepair and the pool was filthy and the ice machines were broken.

“I was quite displeased with this hotel. I've stayed at other Best Westerns with wonderful experiences. This hotel is falling apart. The concrete steps were falling apart and a real hazard. The employees were just there filling a position. Directions posted for this hotel were terrible, I spent an hour looking for it.”
