“This is Sep 3, 2008 by
Rachel from Bossier City, LA
“This hotel was a great value for the money. It was a little further down the Seawall than I would have liked, but was still in an excellent location across from the beach. It was close to Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Moody Gardens. The room was a little outdated, but very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Joann from Washington, TX
“I would stay there again.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Debbie from Waxahachie, TX
“Over all a nice stay, we would stay here again, clean room, great location, good price.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Pam from Bossier City, LA
“Close to the beach, however, the drink machines finally were filled after we had been there for 3 days. Continental breakfast was good, but there were not enough tables to sit at.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Susan from Conroe, TN
“Terrible. Management was not responsive to major problems.” Jul 24, 2008 by
William from Richmond, TX
“I took my wife on a weekend get away for her birthday. The sad thing is we were wishing to get away from this comfort inn & suits. There was mold growing in the picture frames, the room was filthy, the freeze in the mini fridge had plastic stuck in it, the roaches were everywhere. For the price, it was not worth going. We had the worst night in the hotel you have ever seen. The staff was not help and did not care about anything but collecting money.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Peter from Boulder, CO
“The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were nice.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Regina from Conroe, TX
“I was traveling with my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. We arrived late at night. The air conditioner didn't work at all. We were supposed to have 2 queen beds, but when they switched us to non-smoking they only had a king. It was very uncomfortable for me and my family. We will not stay there again.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Eric from Spring, TX
“We changed rooms 3 times until we were able to get a room that was cleaned. The first room had broken tiles in the bathroom. The cleaning staff was horrible. For the price it should have been much nicer. We spoke to other guest and they were having the same bad experience and they too had to change rooms several times until they were able to find a suitable one.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Will from Oklahoma City, OK
“Hotel was dirty and not very family friendly. They frown upon taking food or drink into the room to the point they will stop you and ask you not to, though there is a refrigerator and microwave in each room.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Cheryl from Stafford, TX
“We enjoyed our stay. I liked the fact that the walls were not paper thin and there weren't children running down the hallways. It had a cute swimming area, a small pool perfect for a quick dip.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Mandy from Rosenberg, TX
“The hotel had a great location on the seawall. There were umbrella rentals right across the street on the beach. we didn't have to pay to park at Stewart beach. The Wall-mart is only a few blocks away, which was very helpful when we realized we forgot to pack a few things. The hotel looked very clean and well kept. Our room was very clean, no complaints there. The shower was a bit slippery and the coffee maker was in the bathroom. I thought it was weird location for it, but at least they had one. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.” Jun 5, 2008 by
Ean from Houston, TX
“We got to the hotel hours prior to check in. The staff told us to just use the facilities and even got the room ready for us 45 minutes prior to check in time! This is a very new & clean hotel for Galveston. The hotel is located close enough to everything that you should just park your car & walk for the weekend. Green for the earth & good exercise for you.” May 28, 2008 by
Debra from Winnsboro, TX
“It was a little pricey for 1 night. It was close to the beach; it offered a free breakfast; and it was on the Seawall, which was a great location. The drink machines were all out, so we couldn't buy cokes.” May 22, 2008 by
Brenda from Angleton, TX
“The location was good but it was not worth dollars. Also it should state that the balcony does not face the ocean.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Kathy from Austin
“Service was poor and had to ask for toilet paper and ash tray for smoking room - requested ash tray but didn't get it until the next day and I had to go down and get extra toilet paper, maid did not clean coffee pot, not enough wash cloths for the number of people staying. Maid did not come to clean our room until 7 pm that night when we walked in the room. The price was good and location great - the rooms were facing another building and had to bend over the balcony to see the gulf. I had better service at the super 8 motel on 61st street. The pump went out on the heated pool so the water was cold; the hot tub was Luke warm.” Jan 2, 2008 by

“I was disappointed with the heated pool. It didn't feel heated. Vending machine had a choice of 2 types of cookies and 4 types of chips. soda pop vending machine was mainly sold out or gave the wrong pop. For the most part it was empty. Maid had her child with her who once away from Mom ran up and down the hall and up and down the stair well. I won't be staying at this hotel again.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Duane
“The hotel was ok. Right across the street from the beach. No beach view from hotel rooms. Lobby and hall was clean. Room was small but ok. AC vents were broken, and appeared dirty inside. Some trash under AC. Bathroom looked newly remodeled had nice marble but paint job was sloppy, and paint from wall was on marble. In the parking area underneath hotel, a metal fire sprinkler line had fallen down into a parking spot. Glad my car wasn't parked there. Hotel on west edge of Galveston Seawall beach tourist area.” Jul 21, 2007 by
Marcus
“Refrigerator did not work upon arrival. It was replaced with a 30 minutes - good. Room did not get cleaned one day with trash and towels being an issue. Staff was good about giving us extra towels, pillows and blankets upon request. Indoor pool was small and it was way too hot in the pool room, no ventilation. Overall stay was good, just some minor disappointments.” Hotel Representatives:
