• Easy to get to.

“Nothing fancy but it was nice enough for the price. Had a pool. Was there on a Sunday night so it was not busy. Would stay there again.”

“Service was great and friendly staff. Overall nice stay, only disappointment was in believing we would have access to large pool, as it turned out it was not very big at all. Other than that stay was pleasant.”

• Rooms were clean.
• Curb appeal is awful.

“Once we saw the hotel, we tried to locate another room. Your info states check in as 12:00; we were greeted with a snobby attitude and pointed to a sign on the wall that said check in is at 2:00.”

• Most everything went well on this trip, we stay at hotels all the time and this one is a good place to stay.
• We had a game boy misplaced out of our room while we were gone for the day.

“All was good except for the game boy disappearing out of our room, the manager. & staff was friendly and helpful to try and locate it but we did not. All I can say is secure your things when you travel.”

• No Internet, only 10+ TV channel, need code to use TV remote.

• Just off 1-45 staff friendly.
• Poor rooms.

“Not very pleased with price for the room we got-king bed--room smelled--a/c had musty smell every time it came on--a/c off and on all night! Iron burns in carpet. Room was stuffy, did not feel very clean. Daughters room little better, 2 queen beds seemed cleaner! Hundred bucks a night. Not good price! Would not stay again! Ice machine not located in good spot!”

• Shower didn't work correctly-noisy dogs outside -.

“Room was old and furnishings were old. Water temp. In shower went from hot to cold without warning. Noisy dogs at a home adjacent to rooms. Access to motel was difficult.”

“Location is excellent, practically on the off ramp to interstate 45. The staff was friendly and helpful, checking and out times (1400 and 1200) was generous. The rooms had good water pressure and the double queen was plenty spacious. The TV was new and had all cable channels. On the down side, there is no pool (unless I missed it), and the biggest down side is for all the hotels in Galveston that are right on the beach, the view of this is an Exxon parking lot and the interstate. Oh well, for the price, it was a decent value, although next time I may try something on the beach.”

• I was familiar with the hotel. I have stayed there before -great location.
• This room did not have a frig or microwave.

“The hotel was a great location and I have stayed at this hotel before just in different rooms. I was dissatisfied that this particular room did not have a small refrigerator or microwave. I felt like since I got a discount on the room that I had to give up the amenities. The room was clean. The only thing that bothered me is I noticed they do not remove the bed spread or blanket just the sheets to be washed after usage.”

• Nice for the price, clean, nice employees.
• Smelt pretty bad of cigarette smoke.

“It was clean, nice employees, would stay at it again, nice for the price, only complaint is that the room did smell bad of cigarette smoke, I am a smoker, but I did feel there could have been some kind of freshener that could have been used to help the strong smell of the cigarette smoke. Overall I was definitely satisfied.”

• The location was convenient because it was right on I-45.
• The "free breakfast" was a muffin and I was not aware that my room was smoking.

“It has pretty good service and the rooms are very reasonably priced. However, there is not ice machine or vending machines that I saw.”

• Convenient location, friendly staff, extra towels were readily given, considerate guests and clean rooms.
• The comforter was well worn, there was no ice in the ice machine and address should read on Highway 45 instead of Broadway Street.

“Fine for the price. Good value for a family on a budget. Safe lodgings, comfortable bed and fun pool. Convenient to all the site we visited, the Galveston Beaches, NASA, Galveston State Park and Schliterbahn Water Park.”

• The best (and only good) thing is the location near attractions.
• The room (non-smoking) smelled bad and wasn't clean.

“This hotel is near attractions, but it was very disappointing compared to previous experiences with Days Inn. The room (non-smoking) smelled bad at arrival, and didn't seem clean. Better the next day, but no maid service at all on the third. None of the usual amenities (coffee, mini-fridge). The neighborhood was a little scary, especially coming back late at night.”

• The Pool.
• The a/c only had one temp and was very loud.

“It's not near the beach. The pillows were hard as rocks. As were the mattresses. Not enough towels and the view was the back of a building. But, we didn't spend much time in the room so it was okay. I would have like more information on the TV channels like a guide of some kind.”

• Very close to island attractions and easy access to the freeway to get to the Mainland. Perfect for our purposes!
• Please do not feed the sea gulls. They swarm the parking lot and attack the cars. Yuck.

“My friends and I needed a quick place to stay while we were attending Mardi Gras. It was perfect for what we needed, comfy beds, good pillows, a hair dryer, a good roomy shower with a bowed out curtain, and only a short cab ride away from where we needed to be. And on the way out, it was so easy to just make the u-turn in front of the hotel to get to the freeway entrance. Nice people working there too.”
