• The workout facility was very nice, the location.
• Shower had barely warm, not hot water and it was very cold that day.

“Convenient to the airport, clean, and comfortable room. Very nice workout area with ellipticals each with it's own TV and headphone jack, heated pool.”

• The price and the bed was comfortable.
• My tub was rusted, you could hear the room next door with everything.

“The room was outdated. I really like a hotel with a nice bathroom. The tub was rusted and the shower curtain smelled a little foul. There was not a lot of privacy because you could hear the rooms next door talking, flushing the toilet, TV etc. Me and my boyfriend were also uncomfortable with the room having a connecting door to another room and the person next door kept opening it up. Also we noticed peoples food in the hallways outside the door stay out the entire weekend.”

• The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. Convenient to I-45.
• We were surprised it wasn't right at the airport.

“Great hotel. Staff was friendly. Room service food was good. Parking: use the first floor of the garage because there is usually staff coming and going a lot, it is well lit and it is free. Only issues we had: In the evening the water would not get hot or cold, just remained lukewarm. Room was humid so you have to keep the air conditioning running to keep it cool.”

• Near the airport.
• Noise.

“There was a party/ball of some sort the night we stayed. We had to call the front desk to ask them to stop the party in the room next door. We had to be up at 3:45 am and needed to sleep prior to a very long flight. Needless to say, when the persons in the next room finally shut up, it was 3:00, we had no sleep and were exhausted before the long flight even started.”

• Convenient to airport.
• There was no coffe to be had until 6:30 am.

“Everything was fine but to not have a coffee stand and maybe a muffin until after 6:30 in a 3 1/2 star doesn't make sense expecially when their shuttle service starts at 5 am.”

• I loved the beds and bedding it was like sleeping on a cloud.
• I didn't like the view of the roof from the 2nd floor but overall it was great, so the view didn't matter.

“The hotel was great and even the staff was nice. the pool was nice I loved the way it was indoor and outdoor. The bed was the best.”

• There are private business floors at the upper level.
• Rooms are small.

“This appears to be a convention Marriott. They have a shuttle service to and from the international airport which is quite efficient. Rooms are small but efficient. It is business friendly with accommodations for lap-top and cordless phone. Bedding is clean and comfortable. Persons can have exclusive access to upper floors which is nice when there is a convention below.”

• The only inconvenience was having to pay for internet service from the room, but it the lobby access was free.

“I had a wonderful stay over all and Marriott has exceeded my expectations. The only disappointment was the inconvenience of not having a free wireless internet connection from my room. I had to go down to the lobby in order to gain access.”

“Second time at hotel. First time (last Dec.) I found pornography in the 'clean' room. Reported to front desk. Loud, smoking neighbors. Security was negligible. Emails after the fact promised to make our stay better if given a second chance, which we did (this stay). Emails were not returned, nothing was said, and stay was not any different than first. Will not return.”

• AC unit was noisy and did not cool well. My wife got very little sleep.

“Besides the AC issue. However, my wife not being able to sleep well due to the AC being noisy, not cooling well, and making the room very, very humid was a big issue.”

• The pool area was awesome.
• Not the greatest neighborhood.

“My family and I stayed at the Marriott Greens point before catching a flight out of IAH. The room was clean and comfortable and the indoor/outdoor pool area was awesome. We had room service and the food was quite good and the portions were huge. We will definitely return to the Marriott Greens point.”

• It was clean.
• Not close enough to qualify as a hotel near the airport. Shuttle service from airport stopped. We had to take a $20 taxi past many closer hotels.

“It was a nice hotel, but not at all convenient to the airport since their shuttle doesn't run after 11 pm, although many of the closer airport hotels did have their shuttles operating. I would suggest possibly narrowing the boundaries of what has been considered Houston Airport for these hotels.”

• We had one double bed. Not a king.

“This is a really nice hotel for work or leisure. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is really nice from the front desk clerk to housekeeping. I really enjoyed the atmosphere.”

• Room door key didn't work a few times; we went downstairs more than once to get a new key.

“The rooms are upscale and the beds are very comfortable. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop attached to the lobby. Also in the lobby is a handy computer setup to print out your airline boarding passes. I didn't like that there is a charge for internet access in the rooms/this is often free, even in much lesser hotels. Make sure to pay attention when driving to the hotel. The street that you need to turn onto is easy to miss, and it is not easy to backtrack.”

• We saved a lot of money for a feeling of safety, comfort, and convenience.
• No smoking.

“The hotel was very clean and the room we had was very spacious. When we stay over night, somewhere we will surly look for the hotel chain. It is a calming feeling knowing that you are safe in a larger city. I slept like a baby on the over stuffed mattress. I thought that I was a princess for a night.”

• Boarding pass station is convenient.
• Management ability to see and respond to obvious problems.

“Avery slow to respond when had airport transportation crisis. Large flight canceled for others, and airline booked them into the Marriott. All of us needed to get to the airport early. Marriott's contracted van drivers (not Marriott employees) actually were the ones to solve the problem, by arranging for more vans once they realized this obvious problem. Management should have realized that this would be a problem since they knew the night before that they were going to have this dilemma. Created a huge amount of stress among passengers even to the point of fighting to get on shuttle. A good manager would have seen this coming, and notified the contracted drivers. No one ever told the drivers this was happening. Poor Communication by management.”
