• The staff was very friendly
• The mattresses were very hard or old. By the 2nd night, I couldn't sleep, my back was killing me.

“This hotel was more like staying at Motel 6. The beds were awful and the overall review of the hotel did not specify that they charged for breakfast. It is not in a very friendly location.”

• Nice staff.
• Customer service.

“Although the staff seemed to be nice. I asked for a refrigerator to be brought to my room, the front desk clerk said okay. The bathroom also had hair on the toilet and in the bath tub. I told the front desk clerk when I checked out all he said was okay. He never even look up at me from his paper work or apologize for the inconvenience.”

• The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

• Well light, Security, Pool, Hot Tub, Location.
• There was no cont. breakfast we had to pay 14.00 for 2 to eat.

“The hotel was nice and clean, and secure. We felt very safe every where we went in the Hotel. The Staff was very helpful and nice. All Around this was a great hotel except for having to pay to eat breakfast. There was no Continental Breakfast however there was a breakfast bar and it was nice Though you had to pay for it.”

• Did not have a refrigerator/microwave in the room.

“I had to visit Houston to arrange and participate in a funeral. When I arrived, I needed to use a conference room to have dinner with my family. The hotel staff graciously allowed us to use the room free of charge and even set it up for us. We would stay at this location again.”

• Located on a side street.

“Fairly new and very clean hotel. My room had comfortable king-size bed with extra blanket in drawer. Helpful and friendly staff and breakfast buffet was excellent.”

• The hotel looked new or recently remodeled.
• Only one entrance from main road.

“Hotel looked new or recently remodeled inside and outside. Bed and bathroom were nice. We have a 3 year old girl and a small refrigerator would have come in handy for her milk, juice, water. Parking lot had ample space to maneuver our expedition.”

• The rooms were quiet and the breakfast was good.

“Several family members stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral for a family member. When we checked in, the hotel already knew that we were there for a funeral. They were very respectful and helpful. I really appreciated their help.”

• Tried to compensate for giving adjoining rooms away by giving one free buffet to each person in group.
• Rooms were paid for but were not held together as a package as requested.

“Second time we have stayed at this hotel. Both times called in advance to make sure rooms would be adjoining only to arrive and the rooms had already been given to someone else. The rooms were already paid for, for two nights and I feel that they should have been adjoined as requested.”

“My overall satisfaction was very good. Location was great and a lot of security since is located close to the freeway, my only complaint is that I wanted 2 beds and their only seven rooms with doubles and book fast. At least this is what I was told.”

• The hotel was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

“The hotel was very nice and clean. It was in a convenient location right off one of the main highways, but not close enough to hear the noise of traffic. I only stayed one night, but I would recommend this hotel to friends or family. And I would stay again.”

• Very poor in shuttle service and in their response to their problem.

“If they get their act together on the shuttle times it would be great. We are tired of requesting a shuttle (even the night before) and it not being there - we had to run and get other transportation more than once, they say it will be there we wait and then they say its not coming”

• Some desk staff were not as knowledgeable as I would have liked.

“Convenient to Rice University and the highway for us, very little late-night food, good breakfast buffet deal, free Internet in the lobby area and rooms, contemporary design, new and clean, available parking. One of the front desk staff (can't remember name) was very positive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rest were not as knowledgeable and proactive as I would have liked, but all were friendly. Nice stay!”

• Loved the pull-out sofa bed for my son and high-speed Internet access
• Maid service didn't arrive until 5:50 pm.

“This was a fine hotel, nothing too fancy. The location is nice, although they need better signage into the parking lot. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and the free high-speed Internet access was great. My only complaint is that housekeeping didn't come by to make our beds and change our towels until 5:50 pm, we'd been out all day and then were there when they came to clean. We didn't even bother to have them make our beds, just give us clean towels. But it seemed like they should have finished their rounds hours earlier. Otherwise, not a bad place to stay.”

• The hotel was not as clean as it should of been.

• The staff is very helpful, the breakfast was great. Great location.
• The lobby bar was closed.

“The hotel is located within a few blocks of great restaurants and a huge movie theater. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the Houston Rodeo. The front desk helped us tremendously to find our pick up point. The breakfast has a great selection of food. The room was clean and all furnishings were nice and not worn out.”
