“The hotel was very clean and nice. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.” Aug 31, 2009 by
Dick and Mickie from Edmond,OK
“Very new clean and hospitable.” Jul 28, 2009 by
Sherry from Sulphur Springs,TX
“Do not let the afternoon social fool you. This food is more than mere snacks, it is an entire meal. I had day surgery at a nearby hospital and was so relieved to find such a nice, hot home-made meal available for dinner. It caused me not to have to leave the hotel. I was able to get more rest and truly appreciated the amenity. The staff are super friendly and they make you feel like family. Nice clean hotel and a super choice for family or business ventures. Great choice! Thank you Priceline!” Jun 21, 2009 by
Amelia from Austin,TX
“The only thing I hated was the bed. It was a cheap uncomfortable mattress, and the sheets felt like they had a thread count of somewhere around 10. I would never pay full price for this hotel.” Jun 10, 2009 by
Eugene from Grandview,TX
“A great hotel just outside downtown Houston, easily accessible.” May 12, 2009 by
Nancy from Austin,TX
“Very good value and would be great for families on their way somewhere - but not as a vacation spot. Ugly location behind a highway, in midst of warehouses - but quiet and set back away from road. Well situated to reach Houston destinations. Kitchen well equipped.” Apr 28, 2009 by
Karen Eisa from Houston,TX
“Loved the decor of the hotel lobby with its fireplace and the adjoining library room where the computers were. Very welcoming and inviting and comfortable. Also, the room was very comfortable and inviting. Large dressing area with mirrored closet doors; kitchenette with ice maker and bar. Loved the decor in the room as well. A/C was way too loud. Every time it kicked on during the night it woke me up. Cleanliness excellent.” Mar 19, 2009 by
Melrose from Weatherford,TX
“Staff good, rooms very clean and beds terrible.” Mar 16, 2009 by

“Hotel is hard to find. You arrive at the address only to see no hotel, only a masonry and wrought iron fence some 12 -14 feet tall. So I called the front desk and told them I was at the address but where was the hotel? Front desk apologized and acknowledged that they are hard to find. They gave good directions and were very helpful, and my stay was very pleasant. Once you find the place the first time, its easy to find after.” Dec 16, 2007 by
Ervin from Ft Sill, OK
“Overall good hotel and I will stay again when in the Houston area. The nightly snack events are a bonus to this hotel.” Nov 22, 2007 by
Eric from San Antoino, TX
“This hotel was a great hotel to stay at. The staffs were very friendly, the whole place was very clean, and it was easy to get to eating establishments. The map provided by the front desk was very helpful in finding places, too. I had a great experience at this hotel and would go back again.” Nov 12, 2007 by

“It is unfortunate that the only memory of a pre planned relaxing weekend was reduced to frustration over poor service.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Teresa from College Station, TX
“Wonderful experience, would love to stay there again. Surprised that I was able to get that type of room and surroundings for my quote. Very impressed!” Jan 9, 2007 by

“Nice hotel for business travelers or people planning to stay in the area for a long time.” Dec 13, 2006 by
Cassandra from Mcallen, TX
“The hotel is beautiful, has very friendly staff, and the rooms had a full kitchen. This was the most impressive aspect of the hotel. The rooms had a kitchen with two range stove, full size sink, and all the pans and utensils you could need to operate the kitchen. I really like my hotel and would not have minded extending my stay.” May 30, 2006 by
Tracy from Hurst, TX
“Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Socials in the afternoon with small snacks and hot breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to any traveling with children of any age. Work out room and pool centrally located and kept very clean.” Mar 19, 2006 by

“Very nice. Very good location, near Rice University. Good equipment and cooking facilities for a motel.” Mar 7, 2006 by
Christian from Kingwood, TX
“Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was frustrating trying to get into the hotel from the parking lot. They have very few doors from the outside leading into the hotel and of course they are always locked, even during the day, leading me to think that this was not a good part of town. You could never get your room dark during the night. The blackout curtains on the windows do not close completely to block out the flood lights from the outside and the doors to the rooms have a larger than normal gap under them thus allowing the light in from the light flooded hallway. The rooms also allow in a large amount of noise from the hallway as well as outside and even seem to amplify the sound. And lastly the main road off the street the hotel is off of, Kirby Dr., looks like it is in an active war zone. Every lane on Kirby South of the Hotel is under construction at some point or another. The road is in awful condition full of large holes, giant steel plates covering large openings in the road are numerous, lanes are closed forcing you to wait while oncoming traffic passes and is covered in dirt, mud, tar, and asphalt material. All of this combined with large machinery working make for a dangerous driving experience that cover a few miles. Of course none of this is the hotels fault but this is the second time I have stayed very close to this hotel over the course of the past year and the road was being worked on then too so I have no idea when it will be finished. All and all the hotel is fair but the construction makes getting around ridiculously hard so I would look to stay somewhere closer to where you need to go on the other side of all the road work if at all possible.” Oct 31, 2005 by

“Very friendly staff. Great breakfast bar - make your own waffles! They also served food, beer and wine during Happy Hour every night. Complimentary microwave popcorn in room. Would be an excellent place for business or longer stay.” Oct 4, 2004 by
Shihong C. from Cambridge “Nice to have complimentary breakfast and meals almost daily.” Sep 20, 2004 by
Richard K. from Vero Beach, FL “Met all my expectations, very nice hotel.”
