• Fully equipped: stove, refrigerator, dishes, cooking pots and pans, ironing board, nice place.
• Was perfect.

“A smaller, extended stay hotel, fully equipped with cooking facilities, accommodates business travelers perfectly. This is a wonderful, reasonable motel, set within a ring of high-rise, high-price name hotels, which allowed easy access within this high-end section of West Houston.”

• I liked the tiny kitchen.
• Perhaps more pillows.

“It has a nice sized room and a tiny kitchen attached that came with some pots and pans. There is even a guest only pantry behind the lobby. The only thing I have to complain about is that I would have liked to have more than two pillows on the bed.”

“We asked the hotel to switch rooms because the carpet was wet, the air condition didn't work, the light fixture didn't work and we wanted double queen bed room but the staff didn't change the room for us.”

• Quiet and in a good location.
• Not a lot of TV channels and no pool.

“The hotel was perfect for the price. It is very close to the Galleria and restaurants. Staff was courteous and efficient. I love having a full size fridge, microwave, toaster and counter top. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling for business or leisure. It wouldn't work as a romantic location, but good for everything else.”

• The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel, ever!

“Upon arriving at 12:30 p.m. from Corpus Christi, I had to coax the overnight attendant to come to the front and open the door for me. She gave us three dirty rooms before finding a clean one. And she did all this begrudgingly, too. Horrible.”

• Super clean and well maintained staff is great.
• The late night security people are not very nice. Cranky would be the word. All of them - the woman, the man and the new security guy.

“I have not yet been let down by the staff and the hotel overall. This hotel is the ultimate 2 star! I could live there and the friendly relationship they have with the Sheraton Suites is such a plus! Location is fantastic for the price!”

“This hotel did not have the lobby open late at night on 4/11/08 and there was nobody in the lobby to open the doors for customers. I also tried the intercom but it was not working.”

• Friday rush hour traffic was harsh.

“I am returning to this same hotel in 1 month & I'm fully confident that my stay will be as comfortable as the 1st time. I'll also carry everything I might need for the kitchen such as paper plates, utensils, etc.”

• Hallways unclean.

“Service was good and room was clean, but the overall feel of the hotel was kind of desolate. Hallways were somewhat unclean, and I got the feeling they might be renovating areas. I probably would not stay here again, except I am booked in this same hotel this week. I am not looking forward to my stay. I am glad my husband is with me, as I would not like to stay there by myself.”

• I liked the location. It was central to restaurants. It was almost across the street from the galleria and it was easy to find. Great location.
• I know this is prevalent in most hotels, but I don't like having to pay for high speed internet.

“This stay was fine - no flash, but it was two star. For Extended Stays, if you enjoy having a kitchenette available, this is the place -- if you like the day to day pampering and care of a Hotel stay, this is not.”

• Very clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen area and seating area. Nice to have a refrigerator, freezer and microwave.
• The bed could have been cushier for my back , and the toilet didn't flush well. Heater fan blew the drapes over bed at us.

“We felt that this hotel was a wonderful place to stay, especially if we were going to have an extended stay. Fabulous kitchen and spacious. I was glad to have a clean and safe place to stay. I wish the bed had been softer, because of my back issues.”

“The clerk placed me in a room next to an outside exit door that slammed loudly throughout the night. The wall air conditioning unit had an annoying loud vibration that interfered with my sleep.”

• Its close location to Houston Shopping centers.
• It was extremely noisy in the mornings and there were no after hours vending machines.

“It has a great location to the shopping centers around Houston. The room was spacious but the toilet didn't flush correctly (you had to hold the handle down to make it flush), there was no shampoo provided in the room, it was very noisy in the mornings with lots of banging of room doors and people talking, and the one of the outside security doors didn't work, and there were no vending machines to get something to drink after 11:00 pm.”

• The check-in was efficient and very friendly.
• The room was very small.

“The front desk clerk was sweet and efficient. The room was clean, but the bathroom was almost as large as the sleep area. The bed was very small. It stated that it was a queen, but it seemed to be a double and there was not an option of a roll away bed. The location was great and the staff was wonderful.”

“The room has a small kitchen, for those staying longer; no breakfast is served, so you cook your own in the kitchen. Room is comfortable, big enough, bed is comfortable, but they can definitely do better in cleanness. My body was itchy the morning I woke up in the hotel bed, makes me not want to go back at all.”

• Location. The laundry room was clean and fairly priced.
• Bugs. I got eaten up by the bugs and ants. Dirty. Smelly.

“Very poorly cleaned. Horrible. Bugs. I had to buy my own ant and bug spray. The room reeked. It was the second room. The first one smelled like a man dumped a whole bottle of cologne out in the room. I even bought an air freshener for my room. It was a very long week. I have scars on my legs from the bugs.”

“Hotel had no amenities, small rooms with small bed, smaller bathrooms, rooms weren't cleaned everyday, and lobby closed at 11 p.m. Staff was helpful and location was excellent, right off of freeway.”
