• Large and beautiful rooms.

“We attended a concert at the Cynthia Woods Amphitheater and it was so convenient to just walk there. There is also a very nice mall nearby but we did not go there.”

“While we booked a room with a king size beds, the hotel said they only had double beds. Thus causing my husband and I to share a tiny bed. The hotel said they could not guarantee our beds, but they were not booked. In the morning we asked to check out late but they said no they were all booked up. However, when we asked if we could stay an extra night, oddly they were booked. The room smelled terrible, a mixture of body odor and smoke. No apologies from the hotel. Looking forward to the new boutique opening up in the area so that we can steer clear of this place again.”

• Very comfortable bed.
• Parking inconvenient. Internet not free - unacceptable for business travel.

“Excellent hotel - very comfortable. The parking is a bit inconvenient (requires a pass to get in and out of the garage). High speed internet is not free which is unacceptable. Staff was very friendly and located near great restaurants. Convenient to highway 45.”

• Very comfortable beds.
• Were assigned handicap room and the shower was awful.

“The hotel is within walking distance of the concert Pavilion and upscale shopping. Lots of restaurants nearby. Parking was only $7/night which is amazing for this level of hotel. Rooms are very comfortable but avoid the handicap rooms unless needed.”

• Beautiful hotel in a peaceful area, yet close to everything.
• There is paid parking now. It used to be free.

“This is a 3-star hotel that is by far a 4-star or better. GREAT hotel and rooms. Beds are comfortable. LOVE this hotel.”

• Never got in the car for two days. Boat or trolley took us where we needed to go.
• Just paid more than I wanted to, but was worth it.

“Hotel is easy to get to and fun to stay at. A boat ride (for a small fee) takes you to the mall or the restaurants as does a free trolley ride.”

“The hotel was very nice, very accommodating. Excellent staff and facilities. The restaurant had a very nice, but pricy buffet breakfast but worth it. Ordering off the menu during buffet is not recommended-salad not very good. But, atmosphere was perfect. My grandmother and I thoroughly enjoyed a nice brunch outside with excellent service.”

• The staff is amazing and genuinely nice!
• The room is excellent. I particularly slept well, as the bed is so comfortable!

“This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the world. The room was extraordinarily clean with crisp bed linens. The view of the waterway was great, especially at night and the staff was outstanding. It was worth the money spent.”

• Clean and new assortment of pillows and fresh comforter on the bed were especially appreciated.
• The hot tub did not seem inviting. Blower smells from the kitchen to pool/hot tub area.

“Designed for conventions but, fresh and attractive for the pleasure traveler. With a mall and tinsel town theater within walking distance, it is conducive to relaxation.”

• Beautiful room and connected via sky bridge to the concert pavilion.
• Our room had double beds, a king was not available.

“We stayed here for a romantic weekend getaway. This is a beautiful hotel and is convenient to The Woodlands concert pavilion, Market Street, shopping and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.”

“This is a great location for staying while shopping at Woodlands Mall. Very good restaurants and movie theaters within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds, compares well with Westin's heavenly beds.”

• Tub floor very slippery, bath towels not 4-star quality.

“Great for walking to shops, theaters and dinner. Beautiful hotel, very nice staff. Would have liked a king bed. Staff tried to accommodate, but none available. They did send us complimentary desserts for the inconvenience. Was very thoughtful.”

“Our only request was for our feather pillows to be exchanged for foam pillows as I am highly allergic to feather down. We explained this to the staff but was told all their foam pillows had been given out for the night so we would have to make do with the feather pillows or use no pillows at all. With their high star rating you would think they could find 2 foam pillows. The next night we switched to a Best Western nearby which in our opinion should be rated higher than any Marriot.”

• A/C didn't work properly, room wouldn't cool. Not what you expect for the price.

“Nice hotel, but they didn't really goa bove and beyond to ensure our comfort when their a/c wasn't working properly. When you plan for an anniversary night at a nice hotel, the last thing you want to deal with is a muggy room. The hotel moved us to another room...but no change in a/c. By that time, all you want to do is go to sleep rather than switch rooms all night long. They did say the next morning something was wrong with the A/C, but conveniently enough...did not offer to comp our room.”

• Very elegant and convenience of attractions.
• Did not have free valet.

“This motel was above my expectations but I think it is specifically for someone who is at the Woodlands for an event of for the mall. Business trip would be great as well with the restaurants and bar so convenient. For the family for a vacation I would say no. Parking in the garage is a little tough with toys, kids and luggage. Overall for the motel itself I give it a 9 out of 10 which is excellent in every way. Thanks.”

• Friendly, helpful staff. Nice rooms and hotel amenities.
• There was not any non-smoking rooms available. The smoking floor smelled like an ashtray.

“A very nice hotel with a friendly, courteous staff that went out of there way to be helpful. The only negative was that they could not provide a non-smoking room. Our room was very nice and did not smell too bad, but the stale smoke smell was very noticeable in the smoking floor hallway.”

• No security around the hotel.

“Restraint and lounge in hotel are excellent. Walkways to rooms were not noisy. King beds are comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Would defensibly stay there again.”
