- The friendliness and availability of the staff – unmatched.
- There is nothing that I did not like.
“You are met at the door and taken care of until they close your car door when you leave. I've never been treated so well. It was clean, beautiful and overall excellent facility. After a full day of meetings, I immediately felt calmer when I walked through the door. At night, when I sank down in that incredible bed, all stress of the day was gone. I can't wait to go back!”

- Double beds are a terrible idea--they should have queens.

“Parking is an extra $15 in garage across street and free parking is a quarter mile walk away. Not permitted to use a luggage cart without bellhop help (must tip). They have no vending machines so soda and snacks must be purchased in gift shop during normal business hours. The rooms are overly perfumed. There was mold on the shower ceiling. Much prefer Sheraton Suites in same area (refrigerator incl.).”

- The hotel was clean.
- The decor in the rooms was classic and a little out dated. The outlets were also out dated.
“The hotel overall was nice and clean. Please be careful of the parking. There was some miscommunication regarding the parking prices. The parking lot behind the hotel is free. The parking lot in front of the hotel is never free (regardless of what the staff concierge tells you). The hotel does not go out of its way to make you comfortable. You just have to accept it for what it is, a nice, clean, and 3 1/2 to 4-star quality hotel environment. That's it. They will not go out of their way to help, assist, or make your stay in Houston more comfortable.”

- When arriving at the hotel, everything went well.
- The service and overall running of hotel was horrible.
“We ordered breakfast on Thursday morning, did not receive in time for us when we were leaving for lunch and when we canceled it (it was only a bagel and grapefruit), there was a lot of attitude making it our fault we couldn't wait (it had been a least an hour and a half from when we ordered it). We called to check on the breakfast at least twice, canceling the 3rd time, and each time they said it was on the way up, but never arrived. We ordered a toothbrush to be sent up, never came. That night, we ordered room service, they forgot once of the meals, plus, ketchup, etc., and they said it would be brought up, but we had to call twice to get it sent up, and then it arrived, finally, cold and hard like it had been sitting there for some time. The soup was cold. Needless to say, the $53 meal was almost inedible. We had requested a DVD player from the concierge and he said he would send it up, he didn't. We called and were put on hold by the front desk and they said they were going to ask the concierge, they never got back on. When we called back they said they couldn't find the concierge however they did not have any DVD players and there would be none available that evening. They did apologize and they said they didn't know why the concierge would tell us that. Overall, the customer service and the room service experiences were too bad not share. Everyone makes mistakes but this was terrible. We have stayed at this hotel so many times I can't count, and I know the customer service they strive to provide.
”

- Excellent facilities and a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

“The hotel combines the personal side, for example a wonderful swimming pool and tennis courts and a spa, with business necessities, such as conference facilities. It is run efficiently and with an excellent staff. Unusually for such a hotel it has excellent food.”

- Almost everything!

“The Omni met all the expectations of a four star hotel. Everyone from the valet parker to the front desk was very professional and more than willing to assist you. There was champagne at the front desk as I checked in. It doesn't get any better than that! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The parking was a little expensive.”

“Good location near Galleria but without the major traffic. Typicaly hotel, nothing spectacular. parking garage for self parkers was not convienent at all and the sidewalk around the sides of buildings not safe to walk alone at night and the sidewalk barely wide enough for 2 people- they could do better.”

- Bathroom had mold in the shower. Overflow parking lot was too far away.
“Hotel was very nice overall. The bathroom in the room we were in had a lot of mold in the shower. We had to park in the overflow lot which was not very accessible to the hotel itself. For older visitors it would be very hard to get from the overflow lot to the hotel.”

- Dirty, hot water heater went out, maids knocking at the door at 9am. Too expensive for a overrated motel 6.
“The Omni is suppose to be a 4 star hotel. It was dirty, the hot water heater went out and we couldn't take baths until 11:30pm. Then the maids were knocking at the door at 9:00am. The rooms were very outdated. They had no vending machines and had to buy a 20oz coke for $2.50. Local phone calls were 50 cents each. $9 to park or $18 for valet. The price was not disclosed when I parked. Overall I have stayed at Motel 6 or Super 8's that was much better!”

“Overall, my family's experience was stellar. Kindness and superior customer service absolutely amazed us; we could not stop talking amongst ourselves and others about such warmth and knowledgeable assistance we received. We ordered room-service on several occasions, each time was delightfully wonderful. The food was so impressive; the plating was very tasteful; the delivery was warm and kind. I don't think I can say enough great things about our experience. I have stayed in many hotels over the span of my life; this was, hands down, the very best thus far.
