• The king bed room looked out over the Houston Galleria. Beds were very comfortable.
• Trying to get out of the hotel to go to Galleria.

“Slick. Best way to describe the initial experience of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The parking staff left you alone when you first drove up, which I like.”

“The hotel was beautiful. My only complaint is that it did not have complimentary internet; nor was the internet service wireless. For such a modern hotel, I found that surprising and disappointing.”

• The bed is big and comfortable. The fitness area is nice and fully stocked and FREE.
• The bathroom doors don't make any sense. They have slats in them (no privacy) and are very loud to close.

“Love this hotel. Not my first stay. The location is great and the rooms are really top notch. There is a nice big TV with a great sitting area. We love this place and will definitely stay again.”

• Loved the beds, bedding and extreme comfort of beds. Rooms excellent for price I was given.
• Service was inconsistent.

“Room was fantastic for price. Extremely comfortable beds. Shuttle service was inconsistent-would shuttle us to a location 1-2 days, then refuse to shuttle to same location 1-2 other days, saying it was out of their way although less than a mile to requested destination. For my business needs the hotel was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The bedding was luxurious and comfortable, the HDTV was a new experience for us & we now want to purchase one for our home.
• The $12.00 charge for internet service.

“I would have been happy to stay curled up in that luxurious bed with all those pillows and watch the HDTV for the whole week-end! But, we had things to do.”

• They went the extra mile for my daughter and I.
• There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel!

“The hotel was just lovely. When the staff found out it was my daughter's10th birthday, they sent fresh cookies & milk to the room. The room was gorgeous with a HDTV & tons of channels. The beds were very comfortable with down comforters & pillows. Breakfast was incredible, complete with Texas shaped waffles made with vanilla malt. The sincerity of the staff in making this a great stay was just very evident. It was wonderful to hear from everyone, If there's anything I can do to help you, please let me know and they meant it. The look on my daughter's face when the girl at the front desk came around and hugged her and did a birthday dance was just priceless. I'm so glad we stayed and I'm already telling everyone I know to stay at this hotel.”

• The room was clean, modern, comfortable and luxurious.
• Bathroom was a little bland decor-wise; had to request room to be cleaned.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was modern, clean, luxurious and comfortable. Room service was excellent (30min or less and quality of food amazing) and the staff was courteous and friendly. My only negative would be that the cleaning staff didn't refresh my room because I had posted a do not disturb sign in the morning, but as soon as I called, they came to clean up.”

• Staff was very unfriendly and actually rude, did not follow through.

“After arriving late into Houston, our hotel room was not available and we were moved to another Marriott hotel at a very late hour. The staff said they would compensate us for our first night stay and give us free breakfast. The following day, they said we would not get either. The manager did not even come out to talk to us. On several other occasions, the staff was rude, when we asked about parking and internet services.”

• Well appointed rooms make you feel at home.
• Charging $14.00 for parking when you're a guest of the hotel is wrong. You're already paying good money for the room. Parking should be included.

• Could not get us king bed. Had to settle with doubles.

“Hotel location was fantastic (right across the street from the galleria mall). All were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a great workout room, pool and spa area. Only negative was that they could not get us into a king and we had to settle for a double room.”

• Key system broken, no key. Workout room closed. Bad experience.

“I have stayed at this property previously and were pleased. On this occasion, the room key system was broken and a bellman had to let you in each time. Key system broken at check in Sunday afternoon and at checkout late Monday morning. Someone should have stepped up to make something happen as this is a major inconvenience and resulted in delays each time I needed to enter the room (one time 15 minute delay for bellman). In addition, the workout facility was closed for renovation. Workout facilities are very important to my hotel accomodations.”

“This hotel was very nice with many amenities. The service is wonderful and the food is well above average and not too pricey. The pool area and health club were a positive. I will stay there again when in Houston next.”

• The luxuriousness of the linens was appreciated.
• It was a fairly noisy lobby.

“I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone due to the quality of the linens and bedding. It was the best night sleep I have had in awhile. It was so convenient to the Galleria without the hassle of parking. You could easily walk to the mall.”

• Great bedding and a very nice hotel and staff.
• Had to pay for internet connection - even wireless cost money in the lobby - this is silly for such a nice hotel.

“Parking was fine and I liked that I could come and go as I pleased with my room key. The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast bar was excellent and moderately priced for a hotel. I did not use the workout facilities but rather went running at a nearby park. Staff was very helpful and overall we enjoyed the entire stay.”

“The staff at this hotel is wonderful. Very accommodating and easy to work with. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are the best ever. I stay at a lot of hotels but this one is above and beyond one of my favorites. I would give this hotel 10 out of 10 stars!”

• The location was great and the room was well decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sheets were so soft. We loved ot.
• We found everything to be perfect.

“This was a getaway night for us and the room they put us in was excellent. It was back in the corner away from everyone. We had a cocktail at the bar before going to dinner and it was a treat. We were treated like special guest. It truly felt like a luxurious getaway and we hope to do it again, soon.”

• Valet parking was expensive. But they did have free parking which was a little far off.
