“It would not have been a bad stay but after we checked in they called me on my cell phone to ask how many were staying. I was then told they would have to contact the hotel manager and never heard anything else. We only use the hotel for a place to sleep and shower after a concert and no one was in the hotel until 11:30pm and we got up at 9am and check-out. We did not get any extra towels, eat the breakfast if you call it a breakfast so I did not even understand why they were going to charge us more. We had towels for 2 and even shared these. Not sure why they felt they had to charge more for the extra people. It made me upset because we were just looking for a place to shower and sleep for a few hours after the concert. I felt like if I had not argued with them they would have charged dollars for my 2 children. Will not stay here again. We shopped around for a while trying to find a good hotel that was not in a bad part of town. We like the area because it did not have a pool or anything but we would have used it if they did since we were not at the hotel but about 12 hours. I just will watch about staying at any Days Inn in the future.” May 26, 2008 by

“Overall a good place to stay for a night or two. Not too expensive. Good for the price.” May 20, 2008 by
Joe from Coppell, TX
“If you want cheap, stay here but do not expect much. Although the hotel was recently renovated, it's still looks old and there is nothing fancy about it. It is near the Galleria but you wouldn't know it from the surroundings. The beds were acceptable but the towels were terrible. A large and well used dishrag would be an appropriate description for the towels.” May 1, 2008 by

“No coffee at continental breakfast, Really shady looking people hanging around the parking lot.” Jul 19, 2007 by

“The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet. However, from the description I expected a better kept hotel in a better neighborhood.” Apr 5, 2007 by

“completely adequate for my needs.” Feb 22, 2007 by

“Convenient (for my trip), clean & economical, but rather thread bare and sorely in need of updating. Staff could be friendlier, more helpful.” Aug 3, 2006 by

“The hotel is located in a shabby area. The rooms were dirty and had no amenities, no iron and ironing board, no extra pillows, no in room coffee; we had two clothes hangers and were told we could not have more.” Jun 20, 2006 by
Rise from Orange, CT
“The hotel is in poor condition, not clean, furniture in poor condition. The staff was excellent.” Apr 23, 2006 by
Stacey from Oberlin, LA
“Hotel staff was extremely friendly and the room was very clean. The hotel was centrally located for my son and my vacation because of the zoo, galleria, children's museum and Downtown aquarium. Plenty of restaurants in the area that are kid friendly.” Hotel Representatives:
