• I had stayed there before and paid over 200 a night. Love the hotel and this price!

“When I checked in the restaurant was closed, the front desk arranged for wings to be delivered to my room. WOW, good service and great wings (that I had last time I stayed there!)....”

• Clean and spacious, convenient transport to nearby shopping centers.

“Please note for standard room rent booked through hotel or net, there is no free internet facilities, nor breakfast, cost is high for these services. Even for water it is charged. Telephone local is also chargeable. Not business friendly. No spare computer with net free all are chargeable.”

• Good location, near bus and restaurants, tasteful room décor.
• Had adjoining room which was very noisy, no laundry facilities.

“This hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, a grocery store, and bus line. The room decor is tasteful. However, we had an adjoining room which was very noisy. We could hear our neighbor's phone calls, alarms, conversations, etc. The gym is good. Free financial times.”

• Room decor is lovely. Great view. Fridge in room.
• Lobby and gym are too cold. Hotel over air-conditions.

“Hotel was recently refurbished we were told. The rooms are an unusual shape and very nicely decorated. They also have a fridge which is not filled with expensive mini-bar items. Location is good. Lots of restaurants and Kroger within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff upgraded us to penthouse since I'm Hilton gold. So we had free breakfast every day.”

• Beautifully appointed. Updated. Staff helpful, and friendly.
• Not a lot of restaurants, shopping nearby.

“I was very impressed with the beauty of the hotel. It is probably an older property, but very well kept. I loved the pool. The atrium bar was nice and service good as well. As a woman alone, I did not feel uncomfortable having a glass of wine here and just enjoying the atmosphere. Very nice hotel.”

• Clean large rooms.
• Noisy. No parking. Charged for internet connection.

“This hotel is conveniently located and generally clean. However, there was very little parking. I could hear my neighbor flush the toilet in the next room. And there was an exorbitant charge for an internet connection, a convenience that is now free in most two-star hotels.”

• The bed was extremely comfortable!
• Room was right across from a hospitality room that was loud until midnight.

“The location was convenient for us because it was close to family. The room was attractive and the bed was incredible with both a feather mattress and comforter, plus plenty of pillows. It was a comfortable stay. The only problem we had was that our room was right across from a hospitality room that was quite loud until midnight. Fortunately, we tend to stay up late and it didn't disrupt our sleep. We would stay again!”

• Classical music was playing in the room when I walked in.
• Business center with internet access was only on penthouse level and including a fee.

“The staff was semi-friendly. They could have been a bit more welcoming. I was disappointed with the fact that the 'business center' that had internet access and computers was on the executive levels and you had to pay to use them.”

• I liked this hotel the first time I stayed there, but will likely not ever go back after my last experience.
• They were renovating. The noise was awful and woke me up at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning.

“This hotel is not ready for guests. They are renovating, and the noise was awful. I was hoping to sleep in late, but the renovation woke me up at 8 am on Saturday and was unbearable. When I asked the client service manager to give me a voucher for another Hilton Hotel, he told me he normally would comp the room, but he couldn't do anything about it.”

“We stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding. We arrived at 1:30, knowing that check-in was not until 3, but hoping we could get in early to get ready. We were told our rooms were not ready, so we left our bags with the bellhop and decided to come back at 3. At 3:05, our rooms were still not ready, even though the front desk attendant knew we would return at 3. We were not able to get into our rooms until 3:45 (the wedding was at 5). ”

• The hotel was exactly what we wanted to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary
• We had hoped that the lounge would have been more romantic.

“The hotel was in a great location for what we wanted. The restaurant was nice but pricey The exercise room was well stocked with all working equipment The hotel was walking distance to several other attractions that we went to.”

• This hotel was great. We had one suite that had a king bed and a day bed.
• The air conditioner was noisy in the living room.

“The hotel was wonderful, and the rooms were really first class and decorated very nicely. We would have liked two regular beds better, as us old ladies like to sleep alone. One lady had her own room and she was extremely satisfied.”

• The hotel was clean, beds were comfy.
• Front desk staff not as friendly as they could have been.

“The hotel itself was nice. Hotel policy does not prefer Visa cards and they do not want to take one, they freeze up 50 bucks of my money to stay there for incidentals. Then I was charged $5.00 for mini bar usage I never used. This happened once before at this hotel. I had to call accounting to get my money back. Seems like a scam to me. Except for those things we enjoyed our night out and our room was fine.”

“Friendly staff and quick service. I stayed during New Years Eve week end and didn't encounter one problem. Large and well lit parking area. West chase Hilton is in the central part of Houston, so its an ideal place to stay.2 thumbs up. ”

• The exterior is misleading.

“The hotel was very luxurious for a 3 star hotel. I was quite surprised as the outside of the hotel has the appearance of being outdated. But the inside was updated and plush. The hotel has a feint cigarette smell, but overall I could not have been happier, more pleasantly surprised. The beds were awesome, similar to a West in Heavenly bed. Lots of cushy pillows etc. ”

“The hotel was very business-like, with nice bathrooms and a comfy bed. The linens were superb. The chair and ottoman in the room wasn't very comfortable, but the bed made up for it. Didn't watch TV there, so that doesn't apply to my stay.”

• The room was larger than I expected, and quite comfortable.
• The room did not match the on-line pictures and was in need of a good steam cleaning (stains on the couch and such).

“Great deal for the price, be aware that access to this Hotel is limited by a toll road, and that Houston is so big. It might be further away from the places you need to visit than you think. I would have no reservations about staying here again, and would highly recommend it to others.”

• The room was like being in my own home atmosphere and our waiter at the hotel restaurant was extremely nice.
• Nothing, except I was awakened when one of the lamps came on by itself at 5am.

• The staff were courteous and friendly.
• Ordered breakfast and it took 30 minutes instead or 20 to 25 minutes.

“It was a clean large room with a small sofa. I wasn't in the room that much, but it was hot in Houston and it was sure nice to have controls that actually worked and cooled the room completely. The price was so good, I allowed myself to order room service.”

• Fabulous room with couch, comfortable beds, pillows & linens.
• Towels in bathroom were dirty. Staff had to change them.

“Thanks guys for another great stay all around. The Jacuzzi was way too hot, but the engineer was there immediately to adjust it. Pool was long and able to do laps after traveling. Room was GREAT for sleeping. The mattress was perfect and so were the linens, pillows, comforter, lighting and general ambiance. Staff was accommodating and friendly. ”
