• The hotel was clean, beds were comfy.
• Front desk staff not as friendly as they could have been.

“The hotel itself was nice. Hotel policy does not prefer Visa cards and they do not want to take one, they freeze up 50 bucks of my money to stay there for incidentals. Then I was charged $5.00 for mini bar usage I never used. This happened once before at this hotel. I had to call accounting to get my money back. Seems like a scam to me. Except for those things we enjoyed our night out and our room was fine.”

“Friendly staff and quick service. I stayed during New Years Eve week end and didn't encounter one problem. Large and well lit parking area. West chase Hilton is in the central part of Houston, so its an ideal place to stay.2 thumbs up. ”

• Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great happy hour and continental breakfast.
• The hotel did not offer a lot of activities for the New Year's Eve.

• The beds.
• The exterior is misleading.

“The hotel was very luxurious for a 3 star hotel. I was quite surprised as the outside of the hotel has the appearance of being outdated. But the inside was updated and plush. The hotel has a feint cigarette smell, but overall I could not have been happier, more pleasantly surprised. The beds were awesome, similar to a West in Heavenly bed. Lots of cushy pillows etc. ”

• Poor views from the windows.

“The hotel was very business-like, with nice bathrooms and a comfy bed. The linens were superb. The chair and ottoman in the room wasn't very comfortable, but the bed made up for it. Didn't watch TV there, so that doesn't apply to my stay.”

• The room was larger than I expected, and quite comfortable.
• The room did not match the on-line pictures and was in need of a good steam cleaning (stains on the couch and such).

“Great deal for the price, be aware that access to this Hotel is limited by a toll road, and that Houston is so big. It might be further away from the places you need to visit than you think. I would have no reservations about staying here again, and would highly recommend it to others.”

• The room was like being in my own home atmosphere and our waiter at the hotel restaurant was extremely nice.
• Nothing, except I was awakened when one of the lamps came on by itself at 5am.

• The staff were courteous and friendly.
• Ordered breakfast and it took 30 minutes instead or 20 to 25 minutes.

“It was a clean large room with a small sofa. I wasn't in the room that much, but it was hot in Houston and it was sure nice to have controls that actually worked and cooled the room completely. The price was so good, I allowed myself to order room service.”

• Fabulous room with couch, comfortable beds, pillows & linens.
• Towels in bathroom were dirty. Staff had to change them.

“Thanks guys for another great stay all around. The Jacuzzi was way too hot, but the engineer was there immediately to adjust it. Pool was long and able to do laps after traveling. Room was GREAT for sleeping. The mattress was perfect and so were the linens, pillows, comforter, lighting and general ambiance. Staff was accommodating and friendly. ”

• they put us in a room with no air conditioning & admitted on checkout they knew there was a problem.

“The directions to this hotel were absolutely the worst I've ever gotten. They took us the wrong way around loop 610 and said to exit on exit 9A, which doesn't even exist.Then, when we finally find the place and check in the floors were dirty & they put us in a room without air conditioning. When we checked out the cashier told us they knew of the problem, but no one attempted to move us to another room.”

• The staff is their best assett. Friendly and efficient maid service.
• Unfortunately the pool was closed for repairs and the snack items in the mini bar were stale dated for several months.

• Doorman went out of his way to help jump start our car when it wouldn't start.
• Saturday night it was somewhat noisy in the hallways until early morning hours

“Overall good experience. Staff was very helpful when our car battery died. Doorman went out of his way to go across the street and jump it using the hotel van so that we could save $35 by not calling for roadside assistance.”

• Everything was very clean, very plush, and met our expectations.

“If you are looking for a nice place to get away for a night or two, this is the place to go. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very quiet but inviting. From the plush bed furnishings to the great wall art, it was definitely a pleasure to be there. Thanks for a good night away from it all.”

• The staff was friendly and our room was HUGE!
• The food was very expensive for being so mediocre, the bar had a huge tv in it. Not as classy as I would have liked.

• Too Noisy late at night ,i had people in the room next door up at 3am yelling and partying .It woke us up at 3am and they keep yelling till 430am !!!!

“They need to control the noisy patrons of this hotel , people in these ares use hotels as a place to hang out in and party after the clubs close . Not good atmosphere for travelers trying to sleep.”
