• They had lifeguards on duty at the pool at all times.
• It could have had an earlier check in time.

• Quiet, comfortable temperature and furnishings; very friendly and helpful staff.
• The furnishings were in need of repair (nightstand drawer handle missing; curtains not closing properly).

• The pool and dome area, great restaurant and bar, and friendly staff!
• Nothing.

“Fast check in and check out service. Ate in the restaurant and bar both and the staff were very efficient and helpful. The food was wonderful. Fast friendly service only at the front desk. The night clerk was very friendly and helpful. He was able to answer my travel questions for the. Overall a very pleasing and wonderful visit! Would do again!”

• The restaurant lunch period closes at 1:00 pm. Strange!

“This hotel is good place to stay; however, if you are looking for a good meal at lunch or dinner, go to another place to eat. There are some good eating places nearby.”

• Next to interstate & was easy to find.
• No gift shop & we needed some Advil.

“For the most part met our expectations as we only were there for one night. Was not a romantic hotel, but very family friendly if you are traveling with kids. It had a 3 storey water slide by the pool. Restaurant was only open for breakfast.”

• This Hotel was great, very convenient and welcoming.
• Bathroom were a little dated and slow in draining and filling.

• We appreciated the accommodating staff and really enjoyed the pool and slide.
• Didn't get to tell the staff that a repair needed to be done in the bathroom - the only disappointment.

“This was a great experience for my family and me (two children, 4 and 2 years old). The slide/pool/hot tub area was a wonderful way to end our vacation, and gave our children the much needed exercise and break after being in the car a long time. The room service/restaurant staff was also extremely accommodating - expect typical family restaurant fare, like Denny's or Applebee's. I rate this hotel between a 2.5 star and 3 star hotel, accessible and welcoming to families, extremely clean and good! Thanks.”

• The hotel was clean, the beds were very nice.
• I didn't find anything annoying at this hotel.

“This is a nice hotel for families, with a water slide into an indoor pool in a central courtyard. For all of that our room was quiet and clean. Breakfast at the cafe was reasonably priced and decent.”

• It is getting a little tired.

“I ate in the bar located inside the hotel. I was very impressed with the food and the exceptional service. The bartender made it enjoyable for everyone that came into the bar. Very well done!”

• It's located close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to hotel from highway.
• The desk clerk was not pleasant when we asked for an explanation.

“The room was comfortable and mostly clean (some debris on the floor). The waterslide was neat, but the pool was small and it didn't take very many people to make it too crowded to be enjoyable. The walkway under the stairs to the waterslide was a bit hazardous due to water dripping on the tile floor. Most of the staff was helpful, but we did find the morning desk clerk to be less than accommodating when we mistakenly received a bill for the room.”

• Pool and recreation activities were fun for our family.
• Ice machine did not work, outside doors not kept locked.

“The staff was very friendly but did not seem very helpful. When the ice machine close to my room was not working, they were not really sure where another one was to direct me to. The door to the outside was supposed to be locked 24 hours a day but was propped open, even after staff was notified of this issue. The room was fine - pillows were very comfy - but everything seemed pretty old. Appreciated free high speed internet access and fun activities in the public areas.”

• Terrific pool water temperature and slide. Attractive, clean rooms. Helpful housekeeping staff. Kind lifeguards, helpful maintenance man.
• Though the General Manager fulfilled our request, he could have been more conciliatory, less "put upon." Wow, the bathrooms are really small.

“I've looked forward to taking my children to this hotel for some time. I wish there were some way to know that they don't turn on the slide until 5 pm daily, due to meetings. They did, however, try to turn it on earlier for us, though the general manager didn't seem too please about our request. Every other staff member we dealt with sincerely worked to make our stay very comfortable. We would definitely choose this hotel again.”

• We enjoyed having a sofa, microwave, coffee pot, newspaper in the room. We appreciated the conservation stance.
• The parking lot wasn't cleared of ice.

• We got there right at check in on a Wednesday and all night we had the pool all to ourselves the slide was awesome!
• Thursday night there were 4 younger boys there that had not regard for others even while the parents were there. Not happy about that at all.

“This hotel was great! The whole family loved the slide said 3 stories but it was more like 4. The pool was very clean and the whirlpool was nice and hot and also had a really cute fountain in the middle of it. The heat wasn't working when we got in our room but it was taken care of right away the staff was very friendly. The only thing we had a problem with was other kids they were asked numerous time to not go down the slide right after the other kids so they did not get hurt but they did not listen and the parents said nothing to them about it. We left the pool and told the front desk that sent someone down to watch them. They advised that they normally have someone to watch the kids but did not have anyone that night. This I don't blame on the hotel but more on the parents! I would tell anyone to go to this hotel the kids loved it and it was not over run with other kids.”

“The first room assigned to us had a flooded bathroom and a toilet that wouldn't stop running. Previous key cards (6 8 of them) were scattered about the room. When told of the problem, the front desk staff responded immediately. Mechanically the rooms show their age. E.g. the vent fan rumbled, the shower knob was sticky and hard to adjust, etc.”

“Very nice hotel; however the continental breakfast really stunk. The good stuff set out (eggs and oatmeal) were available to us at extra cost. So not nice plus it tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The rest of our stay was pleasant though; beds were very comfortable!”

• Our room was on the 4th floor.

• The water slide looked like a lot of fun.
• The only restaurant was a bar with TV's going.

“This was a fine hotel. The water slide looked fun. The location was ok but not great. The only restaurant in this large hotel was a bar with three or more TV's going. One night they all were tuned to the horrid dog fighting news story -- not enjoyable for dinner. The staff in the bar was fine.”

• Complimentary breakfast-not so good. But the staff for it was friendly, helpful and right there to help.

“Okay for a one night stay. Breakfast setting....free breakfast....but warm food served right along with the free breakfast was confusing. I know others took food from there and then were charged. Make the whole thing complimentary or else forget serving hot foods and charging.”

The hotel looks good for family with little kids, a lot games, the pool looks fun etc. I like the high speed internet access, rooms were good. They need to work on their parking. Overall a good experience.”

• Room was clean and well appointed. Microwave, refrigerator, television with numerous cable channels. High speed Wi-Fi.
• There is little or no supervision of children and young adults using swimming pool and water slide. Noise level and behavior was almost intolerable.

“Physically, this hotel is in excellent condition. The rooms, public areas and parking lot are clean, well maintained and met my expectations. The only fly in the ointment so to speak was the lack of both parental and hotel staff control over the users of the swimming facilities. To the point that, some of the hotel staff commented on the fact that they looked forward to 10:00 p.m. when the facilities closed to get some relief from the noise and turmoil.”

“I was staying there for a business/training trip. The first night, I couldn't get lamps to work, the staff fixed it right away, then I had trouble with the phones - one I had to talk very loud to be heard, the other kept coming unplugged, gave up on that issue. Food was just "Okay". I only had breakfast, but thought it was a little much to charge $5.95 extra to have the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, option, but I did it anyway since it was convenient although not all that tasty. My biggest issue was the noise level IN the rooms from the pool out in the lobby. They needed to insulate the walls for noise factor if they were going to have and indoor waterslide & pool. I listened to kids screaming and having fun - all great and good, except I could not concentrate on my studies as loud as the noise was in my room so loud that the prospective employers on the phone with me asked if I was sitting out at the pool - I had to apologize for the noise factor. If I hadn't been there to take a training course and had the need to study, I wouldn't have minded the noise so much except that it did go on until fairly late and I needed to get sleep since I had to be up by 5 a.m. every morning!”

• We like the location of our room, right off the pool area, with another door on the other side of the room, if we wanted to leave that way.
• Parking spaces are pretty narrow; would have like Diet Dr. Pepper in the machines.
