• Quick access to highway.
• Bad neighborhood, no security, scummy rooms and hard to find.

“It looks like this was a Red Roof Inn that LaQuinta bought and just slapped their name on. The building is dilapidated, there's no security for the hotel other then your own room door (anyone can walk to the 3rd floor and jimmy the door open). I prefer a hotel where the doors open to an inside hallway, not to an outside walkway. The room had an odd smell, but after opening the door a few times it was aired out. Very little water pressure on the 2nd floor, I feel bad for those on the 3rd. The icing on the cake is all the weird people cutting through the parking lot all night long with backpacks on, peering into guests cars. I think a fence would help, but it doesn't matter, I'll never go back.”

• Very clean. Appeared to be recently updated. Smooth check-in.
• Location - hidden. But easy access to Highway.

“For the price, it was perfect. Very clean and new. Not much right around the hotel but very easy access to the highway.”

• Would have preferred inside room on first floor rather than opening to the outside.

• The room was quiet & liked the continental breakfast.
• There was some musty smell in the room, needed airing.

“Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room for a weekend getaway as it has good access to the Tulsa area. It also appears to be a good motel for a family as the pool is easily accessible from most rooms.”

• Close to Tulsa Airport, shopping, dining in Tulsa.
• When first enter the room, it smells like mildew.

• The staff is very nice and helpful if they can.
• The beds were terrible, very old.

“The beds were very uncomfortable. The cleaning personal did not change sheets in the 5 days we spent there. Not a good motel.”

• Great location easy access to city but far enough away that it feels like a remote location, great restaurant next door.
• Nothing to dislike about LaQuinta south.

• Drafting entrance doors to hotel room.

“The room carpet was badly worn Windows and doors were drafty during high Wind Lamp on dresser did not work or at table. Overall the room was ok.”

• The outside of the hotel.

“Was disappointed by the appearance of the hotel but the room was clean and attractive. Our stay was good even though we did not have the continental breakfast because the lobby was full and we had to get to our meeting.”

• Easy access to highway.
• Dirty outdated rooms.

“I knew this was an older La Quinta. I have stayed in several prior to this and have always been pleased. This La Quinta was different. The rooms were old and outdated. The beds were worn out and the sheets were stain with green paint. The cleaning staff came to the door but my wife opted not to let them clean the room during our stay do to their overall appearance.”

• It was quiet and clean.
• The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

“The desk person was helpful when giving directions to area attractions. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, they did have more to offer than a few limp pastries but the waffle iron was hanging on to the waffle and needed to be scraped out.”

• I would rather had a king bed but that was not available for me. The bed was comfortable however.
• It was not an option to have a King bed so I ended up with doubles.

“It was very clean and lots of room with 2 nice chairs. I was pleased with the location but the sign was a little hard to see. I had internet directions and didn't have any trouble finding it.”

• The rooms were clean and roomy
• The location

“This hotel was okay and I would recommend someone to stay if they need an inexpensive place. The location was away from most shopping and eating in Tulsa and the people that stayed partied, but we were not disturbed by noise.”

• Good location, close to destination. Good breakfast!
• The smaller than full size beds.

“We did not get any sleep due to being miserable in a bed that was too small. My husband and I do not and cannot sleep together in a little bigger than a TWIN BED. Take out the table and put at least Queen beds. I tried sleeping with my daughter and my husband said he got no sleep because he knew I was not comfortable. We tried to make the best of it and will not repeat that mistake again.”

• I have stayed here several times and each time has been a pleasant experience.
• The pool area was very loud and rowdy. People were using grills right outside their hotel doors.

“Very clean; hotel clerks were very polite and helpful. Breakfast bar was well-stocked and restocked when necessary.”

“When I inquired about the pool saying I was dissatisfied that it was not available they replied that it happens sometimes when the chemicals are out of balance. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• It had a bed, that is about it.
• This hotel was borderline on its star level.

“OK beds, slight stench in the rooms. This is a "motel" type establishment, right on a busy highway, so traffic was fairly loud. One very marginal restaurant within walking distance. ”

• I was grateful to find a hotel in my price range. Breakfast was awesome!
• The bathroom floor was dirty. The hotel desk clerk gave me seriously incorrect directions!

“This hotel is attractive. It offers good value. It is in a convienient location. the breakfast was one of the best I experienced. The area the hotel is located is rather ugly. The videogames and movies offered were incredibly expensive. The room was relatively comfortable.”

• very convenient location, great room and breakfast. Staff was very helpful
• TV remote didn't work but staff was very helpful in trying to rectify the problem

“Purchasing sight unseen was scary, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable in a convenient location close enough to the airport. The breakfast was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful to correct a small problem with the TV. I would not hesitate to go there again.”

• Location was next to the interstate, poor lite parking lot, and not a 2 stars hotel.

“Overall, I disliked my stay at this hotel. I felt unsafe because of the location and the poor lighting of the parking lot. I don't see this hotel being a two star hotel compared to the other stays that I have aquired.”

“We had very good service, the room was very clean with an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and a coffee maker in the room. They served a great continental breakfast and they had a clean pool which my daughter enjoyed.”
