• Beautiful lobby & rooms.
• No coffee shop for quick inexpensive meal.

“The hotel was very pretty and cozy. Great location near restaurants and shopping. My only complaint would be there wasn't a coffee (type) shop inside the hotel where we could grab a meal and not get dressed up for the fancy (looking) dining room. There was room service but a little pricey and we didn't want to go back out to a local fast food or cafe.”

• The rooms were very attractive with nice beds and the lobby was very luxurious.
• Breakfast buffet was kind of expensive.

• Friendly competent staff.
• Housekeeping did not remove 3 pillowcases smeared with food...put them back on the bed

“I was impressed. The only flaw were the pillows. At first I thought my girls had eaten pizza on the beds. But it was clear they ate at the table. When I turned down the bed, I saw 3 pillows with food smeared on them and thoroughly checked the bed. Even though the linens looked and smelled clean, it was difficult to relax and rest well after seeing the soiled pillows.”

• The location was perfect. Close to the hospital where I had a very early appointment scheduled.
• Room right at elevator. The dinging was annoying.

• I loved the atrium space with the coy pond and turtles.

• This hotel had a great open feeling. The lobby area with the water and fish connected you to the outdoors.

“This is an excellent hotel for the price and comfort. The rooms are very comfortable. Watching the fish in the lobby area was a real treat and is entertaining for kids.”

• Beautiful, friendly, clean, great attention to detail.
• Room thermostat, main pool temp. Too cold.

“Excellent greeting like a 5 star hotel. Explained room, rates, terms clearly; quick check-in. Very friendly staff in all areas. Nice pool and jacuzzi but pool a bit cold. Room was great; comfortable bed, clean, stocked.”

• Rooms are very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
• You have to pay for internet.

“Lobby area was very nicely decorated - our 20 months old daughter enjoyed watching the aquarium. We were on the second floor. Our room was very spacious and clean. We asked for an in room fridge, microwave and a crib - they came in 10 minutes. The front desk people were polite. Staff at the restaurant was very friendly. We had the weekend breakfast buffet - it's highly recommended! We also used the indoor swimming pool - it was not big but very clean. Our daughter had a good time in water. In short, we enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance in Tulsa.”

• Nice check-in, nice lobby, great bed, spacious rooms.
• Only 2 creamers & two sugar packets available in room.

“This was a very good value. Friendly greeting. Option offered for two beds or one. We took a king. Nice spacious room. Very comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Nice bathroom with granite countertops. Nice pool, hot-tub, sauna, exercise room. Pet friendly hotel with not extra charge for pets. It was $12.95 for internet. A charge at a quality hotel is expected, but, personally, I think $9.95 would have been sufficient. Easy check out. Starbucks served at hotel. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it looked very nice. Nice spacious atrium area with walkways, fish, etc.”

• Great hotel! Family and pet friendly. Great location.
• No free breakfast. Rooms had internet access, but it cost $12.95 for 24 hours (from noon to noon).

“The Renaissance Hotel was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. No free internet or breakfast. Everything else was wonderful. They even allow pets!”

“The hotel was beautiful and quiet and all of the staff was extremely friendly. We actually live here and needed a place to stay with guest as our house is being remodeled. They felt they were being treated like royalty.”

• It was in close vicinity to the funeral.
• Couldn't smoke and pool was so cold couldn't get in.

“Rooms were nice, had all amenities except a refrigerator and could not smoke. Had to pay for internet and usually that's not a charge we endure. The swimming pool was inside, and even though the weather was in the high 90's outside, the pool was so cold, like ice, we could not use it and the hot tub was not hot enough. We normally stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. If we would have been given a room with a balcony, we could have smoked, but were put in the far reaches of the hotel.”

• The beds were very comfortable. That was about the only thing, besides the grand lobby, that impressed us.
• Some of the hotel staff did not seem to be very friendly.

“In general, this hotel is great for business travelers. As business conferences are held at the convention center. The location is good with many fine restaurants and shopping mall nearby.”

• The lobby had live fish and turtles with lots of greenery.
• A bit hard to get to.

“This hotel was quite attractive with a gorgeous lobby including live fish, turtles and small ponds. It is an open atrium and you can see all the way up to the 9th floor. The elevators are glass. The pool, hot tub and work out room were quite nice with bottled water. And towel service available. The staff were helpful and asked if you needed anything or help in finding something. The manager was visible and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again myself!”

• Promotion night in the convention center - lots of well-behaved teenagers.

• Very convenient-close to few-shops-dog friendly-fabulous rack of lamb.
• Day manager on Weds. AM was snotty.

“I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel much closer to Broken Arrow where I had business to attend to. Even though right on the freeway, it was quiet and yet walking distance to a large mall and many restaurants. The bar served a full menu, the lamb was amazing and the wine staff knowledgeable. I would stay there again.”

• The beds were a little small and average comfort.

• All of the employees were well trained, courteous, and helpful, especially Tyler.
• I wish we could have had a jetted bath tub.

• The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly, everyone from the doorman to room service.
• The price is a little more than I usually pay.

“The service was beyond compare. I normally travel on business to Tulsa but was in town for my 14 year old son's baseball world series. A suite is always great but the rate was more than I could afford. Anyway, the employees of the Renaissance should be commended. As I said, even the young woman who brought up our room service one morning was wonderful and advised us of complimentary massages.”

• No free internet access in rooms. No wireless access.

• I did not like the fact that you have to pay for internet service. For a hotel that hosts many conventions you would think this service would be free.

“This was a very clean, comfortable and convenient hotel. The staff was very friendly and made our family feel very welcome. The children especially liked to watch the stingray and turtles in the lobby. Would like to see free internet service though. Will stay there again!”

• Told us the room would have a fridge and did not.

• The hotel was beautifully decorated and the beds and temperature were very comfortable.
• Nothing.

“The lobby was beautiful with streams of live fish flowing through it. Even though we arrived late, the temperature in our room had already been cooled down and was very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable and the bed linens were great too, including a down-filled comforter on top. We enjoyed everything about our stay.”

• Had to pay for Internet access and it was not wireless.

“The advertised "Game Room" no longer existed and that was one reason I chose that hotel. We were disappointed that we had to pay for Internet access and it wasn't wireless and no hook up was provided. We had to call the desk and request one. We stayed at a lower level hotel that had free wireless Internet so it can be done. We felt a "4 star" hotel should have offered more.”

• What was clean was nice
• Didn't want to be inconvenienced with situations.

“My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance for our 20th anniversery. I paid for one of the nicer rooms because it was special. When we arrived an hour and a half after check-in time and were asked to wait while our room could be cleaned. The room was clean other than the fact that it had a funny smell and upon looking we discovered a pizza in a drawer. When we got up the next morning and I went to make coffee and there was a used filter in the machine and no coffee available to make fresh coffee. I did call later and speak to a girl at the front desk about the situation and she told me housekeeping was going thru some changes and she was sorry for the inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend if they were going to spend a little extra on a nice evening.”
